I’ve eaten at Le Garrick a few times recently. Always a fab meal and spectacular value if you have a pre-theatre menu.
Lovely staff, great venue, good food!
Great service, ambiance and food. We enjoyed a lovely Birthday treat. Thank you.
Very good food, reasonably priced. Service very quick and staff very polite.
The restaurant was such a good find. It has great atmosphere and great food. Loved every minute.
Great spot for date; nice ambiance. French Cuisine is a delight.
Very warm welcome and cheerful service. Downstairs is intimate but convivial. The French bistro food is simple and delicious. A regular place for me - an unsnobby and friendly restaurant.
Busy but still attentive. Delicious food. Reasonably priced.
Service was excellent but the food was cold
Le Garrick is amazing! We had our Christmas party here in the week and the staff were very welcoming, knew their stuff and had our food delivered on time! We were a party of 8 and we never got forgotten. And the food was incredible! We had the Christmas menu so not sure if my options are on the usual day-to-day menu however I recommend the Parsnip Soup and Butternut Squash Risotto!
I will be returning for sure!
Lovely, relaxed pre-theatre meal. So tasty and such great value.
A fantastic little restaurant. Great staff, food and ambiance. Extremely good value tor money . Would recommend the Beef Bourginon!!
Welcoming and helpful staff. Simple tasty French fare. Worth a visit if you are in the area
Excellent food and service, at a very reasonable price
Excellent restaurant wonderful service and food delicious.
Toilets need attention.
Absolutely love eating here. Always a pleasure. Highly recommended.
Amazing! I love it here it is A little piece of France in London
We went for a pre-theatre meal and the service was quick but we never felt rushed. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was good and we would certainly go back again.
We managed to get the last bottle of beaujolais, which was lucky as we'd gone for beaujolais nouveau!
My beouf bourguignon was meaty and tasty. My friends loved their moules and onglet steak. We each had desserts. I think I won with the creme brulee.
We had a cosy table upstairs. Sadly we were not offered any read, very strange b for a French restaurant. But le garrick is a classic and I will return.
The food is good but not better than 3 out of 5. The steak was small and average; the soup was average ; the lemon tart was ver sharp and had an unpleasant twang of not cooked egg. The wine was unnecessarily expensive. A caraf of average plonk should be no more than £12 and it was £20. However the ambience in the cellar was very good and the service was good.
The noice was terrible. We were given a table in a doorway, with people running past us the whole time. Bought a red wine at 55 pounds. IT was much too warm. When I remarked that to the waiter, he suggested pusting in an ice bucket. You reallønn do not know how to handel wine, do you.- We thought we ordered a table at a French restaurant. This was not much French. We did not travel from Norway to have such an experience!
My colleagues and I had a really nice meal at Le Garrick. On arrival, we had such a welcoming greeting and the staff were really attentive and helpful.
All in all a very enjoyable evening and I would certainly recommend Le Garrick to friends.
Definitely a good place to go for traditional French cuisine and hospitality, highly recommend
For the second time, I was in The Garrick last Monday. The service is excellent and the food is very good. I really recommend Le Garrick!
It was a busy Saturday evening pre theatre booking and the restaurant was bustling, which made for a great atmosphere. Warmly greeted when we arrived and quickly seated. Went for the pre theatre menu, which was very good value and all three courses were nicely presented and tasted great. We have dined here on several occasions Previously and the food never disappoints. Service was friendly and efficient, but we were never rushed. Only one minor criticism - the beer we ordered was barely chilled and had we known we would have stuck with water - but this didn’t spoil the experience and we will definitely be returning.
Amazing food & service :) will be back again soon!
Great intimate setting downstairs, tables closely packed under ceiling arches with a rustic feel. Very friendly staff and good french cuisine served.
Beautiful, romantic ambiance. Staff were amazing - friendly, attentive.
Authentic French cuisine, beautiful deserts.
Great service and a hearty meal and a chance to chat. It was just what we wanted.
Wonderfull vera good place and vers good food!!!!!!
Wonderful evening! Such a lovely little cosy restaurant and the food was well-priced, fresh and delicious.
I have been several times before and never been disappointed. Great atmosphere and good value. Particularly for pre theatre
Gem of a place - really lovely food and atmosphere. Wish I could stay for lunch and dinner ...
Just perfect! Great food, great service, great restaurant!
Spot on - location, food and service was very good
The food standard has declined over the past year. and prices have gone up..
The two don't make for good reviews!!
An excellent restaurant, now firmly in my list of favourites in London. The Duck was succulent. What makes this place special is the authentic 'French' feel about the place - really personal service with staff who engage at just the right level.
Traditional French food well cooked and served in a brasserie style .
How fabulous, an authentic French restaurant. Very relaxed, food very good. My sister and myself had a late, post theatre dinner and heartily recommend this gem of a place. Thank you
Shame about the service as the food was actually good. Unfortunately we were still waiting for our main course 25 mins before the show was due to start.
