This is where I celebrated Mother's Day with my children and it was a great choice. We loved everything about Le Fanfare - the food, the service, the ambiance. We shared 3 appetizers and then each had a main. Everything was delicious! We felt that the servers were very attentive to us. In addition, given all that we ate and drank, we thought the price very reasonable. We look forward to returning to Le Fanfare.
Everything about this place is awesome - food/drinks/ music and general vibe. Highly recommend
Wow, what a delicious and amazing surprise! Booked last minute because there was one time slot remaining on a Saturday night and I recalled the restaurant had a good reputation. What a delightful experience from start to finish.
Service was excellent. People always filling your water glass and checking on you - everyone in the restaurant seemed to work everywhere so you weren’t waiting for one specific server. Food was excellent!! Enjoyed the olives and meatballs to start. Then the super yummy shaved Brussels sprout salad with whole hazelnuts and cranberries. Then the black squid spaghetti with mussels (& I usually don’t love mussels ) and pork ribs that fell off the bone.
Room was full but sound level decent considering. Got noisier later on though when music started around 9pm and a louder crowd was there. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great evening. I look forward to returning there when the back garden is open.
The food was very tasty and filling. The cocktails were well made and unique. The atmosphere was very warm and pleasant. The staff was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. Would 100% come back again.
Delicious food, great music! The gnocchi was fluffy, the chicken was delicious. We all cleaned our plates! We were visiting Brooklyn for the weekend and this was a great choice. Fair prices, great food, and a nice, hip atmosphere. I'd go back in a minute!
Great little restaurant, it was so cute and quaint. The staff was friendly and the small plate I had was pretty delicious (Asparagus and eggs :) )
Le Fanfare provides creative, delicious dining along with delightful ambience and staff who make one feel as a guest.
Amazing food, fair prices. Love that the setting was intimate, even on a communal table setting. They provide that space of another seat between a pair of couples. Will come back!
Service was great but our pasta dishes were both very salty. I had the "spaghetti" all carbonara but it looked and tasted like Ramen noodles.
Love this place. We have been back several times and it is always delicious. The service is totally lovely too.
Good place for brunch. Food was delicious and the setting was great - especially the booths. Very chill spot.
Table wasn't ready when arrived had to wait and got the worst table .
This place rocks. Every dish we had from starters to mains was amazing. Defo try asparagus app with egg, short rib sandwich, and polenta. Can’t wait to return
Great live music great food cacio e Pepe probably the best option
Great dinner!!! We were stuffed and very happy. The manager bartender and server were fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience!!!
Le Fanfare is always a win. Food is deliciously consistent, service is top notch and ambiance is fantastic.
The restaurant is cute. The food was very good. I would recommend it.
Portions were a little stingy but other than that, everything was excellent. Oh and the food was delicious, I was very happy with my dish and the wine was very interesting and distinctive.
Great food, great music - the pasta and jazz were wonderful. I only wish they had more comfortable seating for parties of two. We were stuck on uncomfortable barstools and a tiny table for our two hour anniversary dinner, even though we asked to be moved multiple times. However, that didn't detract from the experience too much and I would certainly go back (with a request to sit at a real table.)
We had a fantastic evening at Le Fanfare, the live music was great, service outstanding and the food... the grilled octopus is a must.
Great menu! Focused and well balanced. Amazing flavors and ideas brought together. Baccalaureate Croquets were delicious and the twist on the classic Carbonara were well done. Go and enjoy - a highlight was the music jazz style. Nice vibe and lovely wine choices. I need to try the cocktails on my next visit.
We LOVE Le Fanfare. The food, drinks, service, and ambiance are absolutely perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. We go every chance we get!
It was so cute inside and the people were super friendly! The drinks were surprisingly amazing and the food was awesome
Great vibe, outstanding food. The homemade pastas are the bomb. Interesting drinks and good selection of beer. The live music was excellent as well. Would recommend to anyone.
Its a beautiful space with a menu that everyone can enjoy. good for a date or for a group of friends.
The best place for Pasta in Greenpoint! Go Mon - Wed for $10 pasta specials!! We tried all 3 and were very happy with each. On the weekends though it can get a bit noisy... as they have a band and generally a packed house. My recommendations: Appetizers - Burrata, Mussels (incredible!), Brussels Sprout Salad. Pasta: the trofie pesto ($10 pasta only), Carbonara (this is the REAL DEAL), and the Spaghetti Neri (if you like squid ink which i do). All had great flavors and were just the right size portion. For dessert: the Cannoli (honestly one of the best I've ever had. It was light and lemon-y with pistachio.. yum!), and the Chocolate Ganache tart was incredible if you want something richer. I will definitely be going back :)
Every time I go there it is simply the best
Soooo good on every level that I am reluctant to even leave a glowing review because I don't want the day to ever come when I won't be able to get into what I believe in one of NYC's best kept secrets...so shhhh!!!
Excellent food and service. Everything was delicious.
Le Fanfare is a favorite go-to destination. Excellent food & cocktails, and outstanding service. Live music is also delightful. (And the graphic design is on point!)
Homemade pasta was amazing (we ordered the black ink pasta and mussels). Just wish the waitress would have told us which pasta was home made and fresh, and which wasn't. Other pasta dish with the sausage was OK -- clearly not fresh and homemade. Service was excellent. One of our appetizers was the grilled octopus, and it was very tasty. Beet salad was kind of mediocre at best.
The food was very good and the house made cannoli were excellent. The room Is inviting abc the food is quite tasty-Try Le Fanfare-you won’t be disappointed.
Really delicious, great drinks, perfect atmosphere and love the happy hour. Everything is delicious - it's just that every single dish was very very salty. Cut back on the salt, and it would be perfect!
Valentines Day menu....The bread with hummus at the beginning, and the wine, was were both great, however, most of the food was horrible. Had a lobster pasta that was dry and the lobster meat seemed a bit off. Worst meal I’ve had to pay for in ages. Disappointed :(
Early Valentine’s Day dinner, perfect place to go.
Delicious food in a trendy comfortable atmosphere. Love sitting in the booths with friends!
A very pleasant and delicious experience. Creative cocktails served by a wonderful barman who creates them. Friendly and attentive service. Nice menu options fairly priced. Nice decor just a bit chilly. They had the heat cycling and it was a freezing night!!! Will return on a warmer night to again enjoy this venue.
One if the best dinners I’ve had in NYC in a long time
Brunch was delicious. Definitely plan on going back.
