   Busboy picked up the plates too early. One order of baguettes were like concrete. Otherwise a very nice place, see you next time!

   The food and wine were terrific. Love the place. I just hate it when there’s someone constantly trying to clear plates and glasses, while someone is still eating at the table. It’s rude, improper, and clueless as to how people enjoy their time together. Clearing the plates of those who have finished eating before everyone is finished eating puts pressure and the spotlight on the person who eats more slowly. It’s really low class.

   I always go to LeCharlot. This is our second New Year’s Eve there. It was wonderful. I also go to the one one east 69th but prefer Southampton!

    The onion soup is pretty expensive and didn’t taste that good. The escargot was yummy as was the salmon with spinach.

    Though we live in the village year round, we tend to avoid Main Street restaurants, especially in season. We had weekend guests, and given its October, we decided to go on Sunday night. The food and service were both excellent!! So happy we found a new-to-us place we love… looking forward to revisiting during the off-season!

    It was incredibly crowded and short staffed. Our waiter did his very best but it took a long time for things to come. It was also incredibly expensive for what we had. I will not be back!

    We won’t be back. The food is just ok. Table of 5 and we were all disappointed because none of the items that we wanted to order were on the menu although these items appear on the website menu. You either need to change your website or offer these items. Total bait and switch. Also, they added a gratuity without alerting us, so both parties added an additional gratuity. We called as soon as we got home and they said they would remove it.

    The food was very good as usual. The service was not good. It took forever for our food to be served. When it finally came not all of us received our food. My steak was medium rare instead of medium well. The waiter was inexperienced and overall they were clearly understaffed.

    We love eating at Le Charlot whenever we can. Food and service are excellent. However, after paying 28 dollars for a margarita, I’m not sure we’ll return any time soon😢

    I like the ambience of this café. The staff seem pleasant and are fairly attentive. My issue in this review is that I have had the worst lobster salad of my entire life! The description on the menu sounded like it should be very tasty and a little unusual. There were to be red onions and tomatoes And fresh lobster. The lobster itself appeared to be cooked properly and while it was not very plentiful it would have been OK had the dressing and the salad lettuce not tasted sour and a touch bitter. The staff offered me additional olive oil to try and adjust the flavor, but it was still very bad. The tomato consisted mostly of a few tomato skins that were slivered. The red onion was almost nonexistent likewise.

    We ordered drinks, the young lady still got the order wrong after I confirm twice that I wanted a martini… I still was charged for the drinks we didn’t drink. Won’t be going back.

    Nothing compared to Le Charlot in NYC. Terrible experience: our order came completely different (steak au poivre instead of skirt steak), our sides never came, the waiters lack experience and were confused. It was so very much disappointing. Plus the manager was arrogant and lack of professionalism.
