Le Bistro Ratings and Reviews
Lovely dinner on a rainy night in this small, cozy restaurant. From beginning to end every dish hit the mark. The chef/owner came by to make sure we were happy, a nice touch. Our servers were outstanding, there when we needed them and unobtrusive when we didn't. All four of us enjoyed the experience and plan to return. Definitely recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Le Bistro. I felt comfortable dining on my own and very relaxed. The food at Le Bistro is very flavorful and the portions are ample. Service is friendly, professional and non-obtrusive. Thank you for a wonderful solo dining experience. I will return soon with family, friends and business associates.
The personalized service, and delicious food was exactly what we hoped for our anniversary.
The grass fed rack of lamb was the best we’ve ever had, the petit filet was delicious. The flavors were unbelievable and the service impeccable.
Worth the trip from anywhere in Broward for sure! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. And Le Bistro will not disappoint. This is a quiet, romantic, French bistro with personal attention to every detail, and a fantastic staff! Thank you Ellen for making our experience so special.
What a find, although it has been there for over 15 years , the restaurant is using locally sourced ingredients, and the menu changes often. The food has a French flair and and because they wish to honor Florida produce , it is fresh and worth a visit.
Disappointed in restaurant. Servings were extremely small. Cramped quarters. Our waiter not well informed about the menu and lacking any polish whatsoever. The gelato dessert was not gelato in any way. They should not have it on their menu, very poor quality.
We found it on the Open Table website. We were very fortunate to choose it. Do not pay attention to the building and the entrance door when you park your car. The food and the service were excellent. I would recommand it to all my friends
Just flew in from Chicago and was looking for a nice meal before delving into business. What a surprising find Le Bistro was! The server, Kyle, was very friendly and made some great recommendations. I was eventually introduced to the proprietors, Chef Andy and his wife Elin. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly and cordial. About the food ... I started with the Charcuterie & Cheese plate. It had delicious prosciutto and an Iberico chorizo that was surprisingly flavorful without being too spicy. The assortment of cheeses was fabulous and complimented the wine perfectly. I had the Braised Oxtail Pappardelle Special of the Day and, since they were in season and recommended by the server, added the truffles to the dish. This was heavenly! So savory and delicious, I thought it had to be illegal!! They also have a version of the braised oxtail on their regular menu and, if they don't have the special, I would highly recommend the regular version. The wine list is very accessible and has something for everyone. Having just traveled to Bordeaux this past June, I had to indulge. For dessert, a brownie beignet, which was a delicious partner for the last sips of my wine. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant strongly enough. If you are in the area (I drove the 1/2 hr from the Ft. Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach -- and it was well worth the trip!), don't miss it. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.
The food is good, but no more. While the price of meals is up to a gourmet restaurant, that is not her case. I could have paid half the price for the filet mignon that I took, in a quality steak house. Moreover, it is the first restaurant I meet which serves the main food without any accompaniment. I ordered a filet mignon. To have potatoes, I had to pay a surplus, because not included. There is a good choice of wine. But, again, the same quality is found for cheaper elsewhere. Appraisal: I will never go back. Ho! French restaurant and nobody speak french.
my Uncle and I drove down from Boca for a change of scene and it is a Nice neighborhood Restaurant. The service and food was exemplary . We were unfortunately the only Guests in the Restaurant . We both had Mushroom soup ,a petit filet steak ,the fish of the day which was Cod fish and one shared desert . The quality and taste of all dishes was excellent. The only negative was the emptiness of the Restaurant and perhaps the owners need to relook at their pricing as a possible reason. We found it very expensive on a par with the top Boca Restaurants and could be a disincentive for many except for special occasions. Its unfortunate as the Owner and his wife were both friendly and very accommodating .
What a nice surprise! This little neighborhood gem is a great find for French cuisine. The mushroom soup was to die for - yummy. Then we had steak Diane and pepper steak each served with delicious sauces. The other diners at our table had the fish special of the day and said that was cooked to perfection as well. This is a great find that I highly recommend.
Went for Valentine's anniversary and enjoyed it. However, tables are very close and once it filled up I felt like we were with the people next to us. It wasn't conducive to talking or romance. Food is very good but pricey. I ordered filet and it was on menu as rare and roasted. I asked if I could get it medium well and was told yes. However, it was quite pink, so I didn't get what I wanted. Service was great except for entrée - took a while. Very friendly, glad there was a man directing in the parking lot, that helped.
Amazing food and an incredible staff. Have not been disappointed in any visit. It isn't a large place, which adds to its charm. The staff is informative and attentive. The meals are simply delicious. Certainly not what you would expect to find in a strip mall setting.
Thoroughly enjoyable in all aspects. Great food, good service by a friendly waiter who wanted to please. This was our second visit. First was a delight and this was its equal. We will continue to visit and to enjoy everything about Le Bistro.
What a delightful find!! This was our first experience at Le Bistro. We were looking for something new and found Le Bistro on OpenTable. Checked out the menu online, liked the offerings. We were happy with our choice. Ambiance was fine, service excellent and the presentation and quality of the food excellent. Escargots, filet, duck breast and roasted Brussels sprouts. Nice bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Good conversation with one of the owners. Our server was attentive to our wine glass and where we were with our meal. All in all an excellent experience. We will definitely be back and have already recommended Le Bistro to friends. One of us found the chairs uncomfortable.
