Le Bilboquet - Dallas
It's easy to click 5 stars and move on but these were well deserved. The food, the service, the ambiance, it was about as good as it gets in Dallas.
Le Bilboquet is not for everybody. You should go only if you expect outstanding food and service and wish to be able to have a conversation in a wonderful atmosphere without yelling or straining your ears. Should you try it, be prepared for excellence and the demise of your desire to go anywhere else.
Everything was fantastic!!! From quickly being seated, friendly wait staff, great food & endless mimosas, nothing was a disappointment.
Le bilbuqet is my favorite restaurant in Dallas . Great food, lighting and energy. The staff is fantastic. You feel like your in Paris or New York. It was so good I went for lunch which was packed on the same day.
As always, Le Bilboquet does not disappoint in any way! Fabulous food, impeccable atmosphere and amazing wine! Honestly, I believe it is the best restaurant experience in Dallas. Thank you Stephan!
Great!! We love the restaurant.
Great food and expert service. Highly recommended.
We love it Every time!!!!
Food is consistently good. I had veal scalloping. 😊👍👍
Huge delays in service and long wait for food despite a pre fixe menu. Only 2 courses @ an extravagant price, which MIGHT have been ok if the food was spectacular; though very good, it didn’t reach unforgettable or spectacular status by a long stretch. Positives - courteous staff and well made cocktail (no crafted cocktail menu).
What a lovely place to take our mother for brunch on Easter Sunday!
Food was good. Service was poor. They cannot handle simple instructions! Very disappointing.
Le Bilboquet is a quaint neighborhood getaway for the country club set wanting a traditional country french meal. The chef kept to tradition rather than try to make the dish something more than intended, at least for the Grilled Branzino and the Filet and fries. Every dish was cooked correctly and well presented and most important the pace of the service, from cocktails to desert was close to perfect.
I would definitely recommend Le Bilboquet
Amazing experience!!! The food was to die for. I recommend the Cajun Chicken Lunch and the fresh orange juice. The atmosphere was great and it was not too crowded. I can’t wait to eat here again!
We were a party of four on a Friday night. The wait for our food was unusually long and the waitress never came back to check on us after our food was served, ignoring our empty beverage glasses. Unfortunately the pedestrian, ho-hum food did nothing to off-set the poor service.
It was a great experience for me and my husband to celebrate our 10th marriage anniversary at your restaurant. We enjoyed the great service, ambiance, and food. It was easy to find and the parking was excellent. One detail I loved the most, was that since I don't drink alcohol, I was able to get a delicious "non-alcoholic mimosa" made with orange juice and sparkling water. We had a delicious broccolini soup to begin. We really appreciate such a great experience and look forward to many more lunches in your fine restaurant. We enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you for making this occasion so memorable! See you next time!
Frequent diner. Always a lovely experience.
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.
I always have a great experience at Le Bilboquet, but this visit was exceptionally wonderful. We were having one of those rare Dallas days where the sun was shining but it wasn’t hot, and we were able to sit at a table out front. We enjoyed some great people watching, had flawless service, and I finally got to have their burger...it was incredible. We were celebrating my friend’s bday, and she had a great time!
Always a wonderful experience and food consistently good. Service friendly and efficient.
Our waitress was awesome & so was the food!
Always perfect ...consistently worth the visit as far as quality of food service and atmosphere
We had dined at Le Bilboquet - Atlanta several times, but never at the Dallas location. We loved it! The location is gorgeous, and although we did not know to request inside seating, we were seated outside and had a lovely evening. The weather was gorgeous, and the people watching was outstanding. Our food was phenomenal from the amazing soups to scallops to filets to Dover Sole. The wine list was excellent. We were dining with our 14 year old twin daughters, and they, too, loved the entire evening. Will return on our next visit to Dallas!
Our first time there and we loved it!!! Can’t wait to come back to Dallas and eat here!
Loved it! Will definitely go back!
The service was approached as a team. Everyone that came by provided service to the table.
One of the worst dining experiences in Dallas we have had in years. First, the food was amazing. Our server was good. The property is very nice.
The management on deck on March 23 should be fired.
There was a table of 14 drunk, immature women seated near the front of the restaurant. They were extremely loud and having conversations about their body parts, their boyfriends body parts, their nightly experiences. I am sure their parents are all very proud.
Several tables around us asked to be moved. We simply asked the manager to ask this table to tone it down to an acceptable volume for a restaurant at this level.
He said he simply could not as they were having fun celebrating eating out for a birthday celebration. Well, I am sure the 7 tables around this birthday party will remember not how good the food was, or how elegant the property is, but will instead tell numerous people how spineless the management acted that night.... why should all of the tables around this party be expected to move just because the restaurant sat a table of drunk, loud, immature patrons in the middle of a dining room with others that know how to conduct themselves in public?
As weft, we were told that if we would return to the restaurant and ask for the manager he would gladly make it right on our next visit. Why? He had multiple opportunities to make it right tonight and. Hose not to do anything.
My dinner partner's Bronzino was a small portion for the $35 price.
Noise level was higher than expected or recalled from previous visits.
Our server Gabriella was superb! She made our experience enjoyable.
We had the best waitress, I wish I could remember her name, but I can’t. The service always makes the experience for me.
Took my mom for her 85th birthday. Chose Le Bilboquet because our past experiences have been lovely here. This particular day there were 2 birthday parties of 10 each, plus an engagement party in the adjoining area, as well as a full restaurant. There were also 2 precious but loud and unsupervised children running between the tables. We could not hear each other talk. Our server was sweet but hurried. She did bring a complimentary birthday mousse, which was unexpected and adorned with a large sparkling presentation, but then she quickly disappeared. We were not offered a dessert menu for me or coffee for either of us. We flagged down another server to order coffee. Our server reappeared dropping our check. I thankfully caught her attention and informed her of our coffee request. We then waited 10 more minutes for our coffee. Apparently the bartender not only makes all the cocktails, but the coffee as well. Our server was very apologetic, but it’s not her fault this is the set up for the restaurant.
I feel like maybe they over scheduled the restaurant. It was loud and overcrowded... not like the lovely bistro it was originally designed as. That’s disappointing....the food was definitely the same delicious standard, which saved our experience. We will return on a weekday or night to give it another chance, and pray this was just an unfortunate isolated experience.
Our favorite restaurant! Love the staff, ambience and the Cajun chicken!!!
Le Bilboquet is one of my favorites. The grilled Romaine salad is always my starter. Grilled artichoke salad is good too, as was the vegetable puree soup. The sole was lovely, albeit a bit heavy with butter sauce. Branzino is always a good choice. My friend loves the steak frites. The chocolate mousse is not too heavy & enough to share. Service is always exemplary, although our waitress interrupted our conversation very abruptly EVERY TIME she came to our table. She was perfectly lovely the rest of the time, and the "look" I gave her every time she interrupted was evidently ineffective. Seems such a lovely restaurant would train staff a bit better. It didn't spoil our evening, it was just an ongoing irritation. We will all be back.
Always a nice evening
loved everything about it. Great service without trying too hard, good recommendations. loved the escargot, bib salad, pork chop and wine. Wish we would have asked for table outside. Expensive but worth it.
Very accommodating to an 18-mo old and 87 y.o.
very good neighborhood place, good food and service combined with an easy location make it an easy choice. the grilled romaine was wonderful!
Always a treat to be in this neighborhood favorite !
Lovely as always. The food is perfect.
Needs a better dessert selection. Excellent on everything else.
