Chicken under cooked
Too dark to notice so I ended up eating some undercooked chicken
Staff was nice and offered to make another one
Did take the item off the bill
This was our 1st time here ,we absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. I've already made new reservations
Thank you for consistent excellent service and food!
Everything was great, disappointed with the soup, the asparagus soup was very runny and not thick at all, and no taste at all
friendly, discrete, tasty lunch. tried new menu items, yum. Matt took a picture to commemorate our 80th bday celebrant. treated us like we were British royalty. ty LB Steak for another fine dining experience.
Price gouging without notice, the brunch bottomless mimosa for 18.00 became 50.00 without notice. Surge charge with no explanation. For good steak we will be visiting Alexander steak in Cupertino instead. The food at LB are not all that.
Mother’s Day lunch, the restaurant seemed overwhelmed - menu confusion on what was available and what was not - 2 main courses were cold, sent back and returned cold - overall not a great experience - unfortunate as previous recent dinner experience had been good
The meal was fantastic. A good wine selection. Chelsea our server was great! She was engaging, fun and attentive. The entire evening was amazing.
The only problem with LBS is make sure the server hears you when you place your order. I ordered the Wagyu Angus 8oz and when the bill came, he actually ordered me the Japanese Wagyu 8oz.....A 200.00 DOLLAR STEAK.!!!!
My problem with this was that he had no concerns for what had happened. Very disappointing and did nothing to rectify the situation. This was on last Saturday at 4:45....not that busy.
Service was great, food was decent, however, very overpriced. Being from New England and seeing the prices on the seafood dishes including the bisque, I almost walked out. The side dishes were just ok, not seasoned well. Better food and value at Texas Roadhouse.
Business dinner was made wonderful with a great waiter who was very friendly and attentive.
The steaks were cooked to perfection , delicious side dishes and great wine selection.
Try the pork belly as an appetizer.
Enjoyed a late lunch and the food was very good. We split a spinach salad with strawberries, goat cheese, shaved almonds and sherry vinaigrette. I had the fish tacos - awesome sea bass, and my wife had the crab and shrimp cobb salad and she loved it. Chelsea was our server and she was great!
We were celebrating my daughter’s 23rd birthday.
We originally asked to sit outdoors but changed to indoors.
Although the sun was out it was a cold breezy day. I asked if they could close some of the big sliding doors because I was shivering.. staff was very accommodating and I instantly felt warmer.
It was great I would recommend dropping some extra cash and hoeing for a nicer steak it will be worth it.
We really enjoyed lunch menu. The volume is not so much, but good enough for us. The taste was very good. Dessert (Fondant Chocola) was also really nice.
We got the family together for a nice dinner before a concert at SAP and the meal was delicious. They didn't have regular baked potatoes but the Mac 'n Cheese and augratin potatoes were good. The regular filet mignon was delicious, but the Wagyu steak was nothing special. In fact we kept disagreeing about which of the 4 steaks was the Wagyu...we thought the plate was put down in front of the wrong person at our table. The restaurant in Santana Row seems more "up scale" than the one in Menlo Park (which I really like).
Excellent food, amazing service! My wife and I enjoyed everything, and even though we had a slightly irritated infant, our server went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of.
Had a great spur of the moment business lunch on Santana Row. Service was attentive beyond compare. Steak salad was phenomenal!!!! Will definitely be back for happy hour or brunch very soon.
They need to keep trying or lower their prices. Just not all that.
LB Steak is on of the better Steak Houses in SanJose. Very good menu and convenient location. The Wine List had a good mix. Wait staff were excellent and didn't get in the way of the conversation.
Steaks were served burnt and cold.
Inexistent service even thought only 4 tables were occupied on Tuesday around 6pm.
Dining was great & Travis our waiter was awesome. I would recommend this restaurant for all occasions.
Excellent meal. I had the Japanese Wagyu NY Strip which was like nothing I've had before. I understand Kobe is the best of the best, and I suppose I'll have to try that someday to see if it possibly can be better, as this was outstanding. Mac & Cheese was also excellent, as were the Bread Pudding and the Silver Oak Cab. A nice place for a special occasion. I don't think I'd bring a 'date,' children or friends, unless you are a big spender or you agree (with the friends) to pay your own tab ahead of time.
Great service and side dishes were tasty and well done
Quite tasty $14 hamburger, cheapest red by the glass is $14. Total tab $88 for two hamburgers with wine, coffee and tip. Service felt a bit rushed and uncoordinated, multiple servers asking same questions, seeming to want to hustle to turn the table, though restaurant was 75% empty.
Waiter was wonderful! Food was incredible!
They gotta add more Wagyu choices on the menu though 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Celebrated my son's birthday here. We ordered the Tomahawk Steak, Wagyu Steak, NY Strip, Wagyu Burger, Truffle Fries, Calamari, Lobster Bisque, some kind of Chicken, some Cocktails and we were very pleased at the food, ambiance and service! Would definitely come here again when we're back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Korrine! Amazing and attentive service always appreciated.
Everything was amazing from checking in, waiting at the bar since we arrived early. The mixologist was amazing Paolo made my husband and I some great specialty cocktails. THANK YOU for starting off his birthday celebration date night off with lots of laughs and fun! Dinner was great our server Lenny and all the staff was beyond hospitable and made our night out so special & memorable. We look forward to our next visit.
Typical Steak House with business lunch atmosphere (but I was there around 5 to 7). Great service tasty menu.
Very positive - great experience overall and both the manager and server did a great job. The only negative was that the entree too a little long to be served but we had appetizers to snack on
Great food, service, and company!
Server should write down drink orders. Unfortunately I didn’t receive the drink I ordered. They simply chose an incorrect fruit juice so I didn’t let it ruin my night though. I just drank it and paid the bill.
The waitress was nice but service definitely was not the same as you’d expect for an upscale steakhouse. She didn’t have time to check on us and many times we had to ask the bus man to help. He didn’t speak much English but he could at least called her for us. They aslo put a surcharge on the bill without explaining until we asked. She came back and explained that they didn’t want to raise the price so they had to add the surcharge. I think they should adjust the menu prices so that we know exactly no matter how much it is. For the price they charged, service and foods are not worth it. We’d have better service at Morton’s steakhouse or Alexander. The surcharge though only $10 out of our $300 bill, it’s sketchy.
Been here several times and the food is consistently delicious! The service is always very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is energetic, but not too loud. Highly recommended!
They have a great location, nice ambiance and nice decor.
But they have to improve service and food quality.
We ordered a Steak and our waiter told us that it will take them 40 to 50 minutes to prepare, than we choose another steak cut, we also ordered appetizers and drinks.
In less than 5 minutes we had our drinks, 5 minutes later we received our appetizer and less than 2 minutes after we received our Steaks. Meaning that we had our table full with everything, we even didn’t have space to have our Steak dishes, our waiter said, yes I know we did fast.
In our table we had our hot dishes like 10 to 15 minutes waiting until we finished our appetizers.
Waiters need to be better trained.
Service was superb!
Took a friend on her birthday to LB -- the service was outstanding -- I really want to commend Ken and his colleagues who helped out.
Also, the managers were incredibly accommodating to make the evening a very memorable night. I am constantly impressed with the professionalism and focus on customer satisfaction among the managers at LB.
Great food. Great service as always.
