Celebrated our wedding anniversary and LB Steak and it didn't disappoint. The service we received from Heather was amazing. She was very helpful with the menu and checked in on us with a balanced frequency. We chose the Cowboy (bone-in rib-eye) along with the blacked corn and mashed potatoes. We were also surprised with a delicious lava cake dessert for our anniversary too. The ambiance is always nice and classy but not intimidating to where your expected to dress to the nine's. I would definitely go back to LB for a special occasion or for other dinner and lunch needs.

Fish and steak were cooked perfectly. Excellent presentation. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Personal service. Our server, Corey, was awesome. Will return when in town.
On Sunday September 08, 2019 we had a Double Date Night with some Friends. We all ordered Steak & it was Delicious!
Excellent. Every time is great. I also arrived with a large group and Mark saw that we were taken care of and had an excellent meal. Now it’s one of our main business locations for meals. Food great. Service is excellent! Not to be missed. Thanks Mark!!!

My server is not that experience. He didn’t even offer me any steak sauce with my steak.
I've eaten at every steak house in the bay area and find LB Steak to be one of the best. Food is fantastic, sides are great, atmosphere is one of the best and the staff is exceptional.

No one asked if it was a special occasion.
Steak was over cooked. They agreed and took it back and cooked another. Second aged ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly.
Two reasons why you did not get a 5 star. The drink my husband ordered said that there was a port float on top. We could not see it. Asked waiter to take it back and put the port float on it and when it came back still could not see it. If we ask to have a port float and you give it back and it’s still not visible, something is wrong with the bartender. Secondly, my husband order the tomahawk pork chop medium, there was no pink in the center, so he sent it back, when it came back, still no pink, it was dry.
My food was excellent.
Food was good and the waitstaff was great. The restaurant is conveniently located with good ambience and a great selection of food and drinks, but it was LOUD.
The host seemed a bit discombobulated—she left us standing in the middle of the room to take care of something (no idea what) on the way to the table rather than just walking a few more steps to seat us, so that was a little weird. Several servers who saw it happen apologized while I stood there and waited for her to return, which she eventually did.
Other than the host and the noise, everything was great.
The good news is service was great--for the most part, the staff was friendly and attentive. The cocktails, appetizers and sides was generally good. I found the steaks to be carved a bit think for a steak house, but OK, quality trumps quantity. The real issue was that my steak, the Kombujima 16 oz Kombu dry aged bone-in NY was easily 50% gristle. Someone in the back made the decision to cut that steak, cook, and send it out, I assume with the hope no one would notice. Under the category of "you had one job...", that lack of caring makes it hard for me to recommend this place to anyone.

Looked forward to eating at a more fine dining steak restaurant and this place was a good spot. Celebrated an anniversary dinner with my other half here and we both enjoyed it.
Ordered the filet mignon and it was good, but a bit dry. I ordered medium well when I should've asked for medium rare, my fault! My girlfriend ordered the Wagyu beef and although pricey it was well WORTH IT. Ordered 6 oz of it and was surely enough. They Wagyu was swagyuuuuuu in her opinion haha! She loved it. The wine was top notch and they have a huge selection to pick from.
Our waitress Korrine was nothing short of amazing and was knowledgeable of the steaks and her recommendations were perfect for wine and my girlfriend's Wagyu entree. She always kept tabs on us and was even nice enough to get us dessert for such an occasion! We appreciate her customer service and it wouldn't have been what it was without her service to us!

Wonderful people, wonderful food, not very noisy as compared to most restaurants. The doors to the patio were open, but still cool inside. Great waiter Bruce. Food was brought quickly. They boxed up our leftovers which made for a great meal the next night. Macaroni and Cheese side and mashed potatoes were yummy. My summer salad of grilled peaches and blueberries also great. Will definitely come back again. Oh. They also brought a birthday dessert of a lava cake and ice cream, we all shared free of charge.

We have dined here before and had very good service and foods. But this time while the service was very good, the food was not up to our expectations. The chicken and steak entrees were good. The lobster roll was light on the lobster and waygu loco moco was bland and over cooked. Delivery of the entrees was a tad slow as well. This was a Saturday brunch/lunch so wondering if the cook staff is different then the evening/Sunday staff. We might not do brunch/lunch on Saturdays again.

LB steak house was decent food, excellent service, pretty good ambiance suiting what it is and location. Very expensive for good but not great food - definitely paying for location, good - efficient and friendly service and buzz. Our steaks were good but not outstanding for the price, other dishes (chicken, fish, salads) all generally good but perhaps a bit expensive. Nice place but not great value food wise. Get seats near the window for less noise and excellent people watching.

We were dissapointed with our meals, Flatbed Pizza and the Boneless Ribeye did now WOW us as in the past.

This place is our favorite go to for family celebrations. Always consistent in food and service, the two things that matter to us when we are at a restaurant. Santana Row location is a welcome bonus. Highly recommended.

The service was excellent! My husband and I both ordered steaks and they were both slightly overcooked, and tasted as if they had no flavor at all. Both my Filet and his Cowboy cut steak came with sauce on the side that wasn't our favorite. The corn side was delicious, and they brought out a complimentary anniversary dessert that was amazing. Overall, it was a nice dinner but I was disappointed with our steaks.

Food was excellent and service was great. We had to wait a little while for the table and they brought us appetizers to accommodate for the wait. Look forward to coming back.
The scallops were small over priced and over cooked. Guest was not offed choice of sauce for his steak.
I would have given LB Steak five stars, since almost all of our food was exceptional. However the medium rare rib eye we ordered came medium and was way over cooked. For those that like medium rare, it’s pretty much inedible. But everything else was fantastic. Oh, and we really don’t like the bench seating. Cushions are way too bouncy and soft and not very comfortable.
I had a fantastic mock tail I’m so glad they offer more than just club soda! it was very creative and not overly sweet.
Second time there food was tasty as expected and the wait was minimal to sit and eat.
My lobster roll had quite a few shells in it and for me that wasn’t something that could not be overcome but there were no recovery attempts. Server simply asked if I wanted something else brought it and charged me for it. No manager came over and there was no acknowledgement of the issue. It was my first time and I’ll never go again for sure. There are plenty options on the row next time I’m in the area
solid wine list. good options. steak was very good. side options were just okay. service was a little slow. prefer other steakhouses in terms of atmosphere.

Steak was really goodm we had dry aged rib eye and wagyu. Both decent.
Service is also very good.
Took clients to dinner here, thought it would be fantastic based on the reviews here. It was not. Cornbread was cold and dry. Calamari was barely fried and bland. Shrimp app was just OK. Filet came out extremely undercooked. Waitress did not even come back to check on us after meals came out, which is something you always do at a steakhouse in case steaks have an issue. Waited ten minutes before I could even send steak back, which took forever to get back the second time. By the time I got it back, clients were almost done so everyone got to watch me eat. Mashed potatoes were good. Mac and cheese side was terrible and flavorless. Sauces for steaks were all terrible. Clients said they were happy, but I'm sure they were just being nice. Really a bad experience, if you're trying to impress or have high expectations for an expensive steakhouse I'm sure you could do much better in the area.
