The only thing was the cups was not washed clean. I can still smell am odor while drinking my cocktail, which made me not even wanting it anymore after one sip.
Birthday celebration for a friend
Whenever I think of good steak I think of LB. This is my go to for any special occasion. I’ve been here at least 5 times this year. I always enjoy their 35 day dry aged ribeye. The cut is consistently enjoyable and soft. The fat comes out perfectly the way they age it and grill it. The sauce is very good as well. We always enjoy their appetizers and sides including; the calamari, Cesar salad (if you’re on a date they split the salad in half which is just perfect!), the onion rings and garlic fries. Also even the bread is amazing. We love the olive bread here. Best tasting olive I’ve ever had. I just wish they would offer you oil and vinegar. The butter is fine, but I would prefer oil and vinegar. Also I adore the desert here. The chocolate lava cake is out of this world. Easily the best desert I’ve had at any steak restaurant. Our main server Lenny is great and he remembered us from our last visit. Great establishment and even better food!

Service was attentive and very professional but felt much too rushed. For the price I want to truly enjoy the experience and take my time. Not feel like I’m on the clock.
We really wanted to try a local steak house to treat our son who moved to San Jose a couple months ago. Our waiter really tried to give us as much of a pleasant experience as possible but said that due to the chef being in a bad mood it was just going to be an off night overall. I ordered the pork chop and was told after a few minutes that they were out of them. We tried ordering broccolini since it was on the menu in another combo and after a few minutes were told the chef wouldn't accommodate. My son ordered the NY Strip medium and it came out more rare. Waiter offered to take remainder back to sear it again but we felt it should have been done that way from the start. For what you pay at this place (and all fine steak restaurants) you expect a certain amount of "we want to make you happy" moments. Lastly, after waiter apologized for the umpteenth time, we did not get any offer of adjustment to the bill. Just not feeling the love from this place

We have been to LB before and had a wonderful time with great food and service. We considered it fine dining, but when we arrived we were first seated at the most back table near the entrance to the kitchen. The restaurant was not crowded and it was early, 5:45pm, so we asked for another location. We were moved to a better table. The server was nice but we had explained that we were in no rush and wanted to enjoy our cocktails. He asked a few times for our order and we said that was fine, but we were in no rush and could it be paced. We received our appetizer and were a few bites through when our salads were crowded onto our table. We asked those be put back because we weren’t done with our appetizer. Needless to say, being rushed made the dinner uncomfortable and put a damper on our evening. We probably would not go back to LB for a nice occasion.

Really good steaks. We ordered dry aged NY strip and boneless rib-eyes. Nice side dish options. Most all menu items are a la carte. We had noted on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday but it was not acknowledged by any staff...somewhat disappointing.

too pricey. they have priced themselves in the same category as Ruth's Chris & Mortons but the portions are too skimpy to compete with those establishments.

The first time I went to LB it was great a few years ago. This time the scallops were cold and had sand in them. The bread was cold. The potatoes were hard and not cooked all the way. The steak was overcooked and dry. It is not worth the money I spent. I will not be going back.
The steaks are good but other items (lobster bisque and Mac and cheese are very bland).

Fantastic food as always, but the service was below the usual standard. They also ran out of the 2 different bottles of wine we ordered. We may have just been very unlucky, but it seemed weird.

I love eating at LB. The food rocks every time. Generally, the service is outstanding. Last night, not so much. The food was as great as usual, but the service lacked. Water glasses went unfilled, sauces were forgotten, the check was wrong. I chalk it up to a bad day. Won’t keep me from returning.

Excellent service! Lobster roll was delicious, French dip wasn’t as great but service and ambiance made up for it.

Food was excellent. My fiancé got the Cowboy and it just melted in your mouth. They were very helpful with seating arrangements outside and checked on us all the time. Definitely will be going back.

Went w my friend Carlos and the Yard House was an hour wait so why not try something new so then we got LB Steak and it was good. The scenery was cool and the chefs do know their stuff. Overall 11/10 shoutout to Ozzy he needs a raise the man been in the industry for 20 years and hes from Turkey and knows his craft. im out

Everything went fine; I recommend, however, that you advise your host/maitre’d to stop addressing mature women as “young lady.” As in, “Are you here for a special occasion, young lady?”, and “I’ll show you to your table now, young lady.” He may have selected this greeting as a substitute for “ma’am,” which some women dislike. I would have preferred this term, frankly, rather than this condescending , insincere attempt at flattery.
I appreciate the dilemma, I truly do, when dealing with the public. I know this host wasn’t intending to be insensitive, and had I been able to articulate it at the time I would’ve said what I’ve written. Unfortunately, no one was at the host’s station when I left so I chalked it up to, “Next time I will know how to respond.”
Rest assured I will return to your restaurant.

My 75th birthday. We were greeted by the front desk hostess who wished me a Happy B Day. When I made our reservation I noted it was my birthday. We were seated in a nice table for 2. Our waiter Nick greeted us......again Happy B Day. I started with an Old Fashion. Hubby had a Manhattan. Both delicious. When Nick brought us our cocktails he discussed the menu with wus. The prawn appetizer sounded delicious and it was. For our salad we shared the Summer salad. Very ample for 2. For our Entree we were both going to order the filet. Nick said the Cowboy Rib Eye Steak for two was very good. He told us the kitchen would slice the steak for us. It was just as Nick said. Really good. We did order 2 sides, the summer squash and mushrooms. Both very good. We looked at the dessert menu and chose the Pumpkin Brûlée. Yum! Since it was my birthday our dessert was comped. LB is a very good restaurant. Service was excellent as was the food. Will definitely return.

It was just ok, was disappointed when I ordered a Jack Daniels and Coke, and it came back with Pepsi. Waiter didn't advised it was a Pepsi house. We had ordered a side of mushrooms and it never came out, and when ordering another entrée, we requested no onions, and the kitchen sent it out with chives on them. The food was good, and our server was accommodating, it just wasn't anything special, or didn't separate itself from any other steak house.

Celebrated a birthday. Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Server was professional and knowledgeable he had been working there for several years and has taken care of us many times previously. We love this restaurant and service and will continue to be a patron.
For the most we enjoyed our lunch there. All the attendees basically enjoyed the food and experience there. I ordered the scallop lunch plate and found that the scallops were too salty. Not knowing if all four were, I consumed all of them. I should returned them after the first one. I initially told the server but pursued to consume the rest of them. I didn’t mentioned them again but I consumed all of them. The 3 other lunchers were quite satisfied with their choices.
Amazing restaurant with the best service, (thank you Heather!) I meet up with my friends at work once a year here when the three of us can find time to get together. The table we always get is in the front and open air which lends to great people watching. The food is always perfect. Year 3 and planning next year #4.

Ambiance - Beautiful and energetic ambiance
Service - Travis was extremely efficient and a great server. He took care of us without feeling overbearing. He made recommendations and suggestions without being pushy. We were a party of 11 so kudos for the excellent service
Drinks - ordered wine, golden gate fizz cocktail and the matcha mojito mock tail. I do not drink so the mock tail was a perfectly refreshing and delicious choice
Apps - ordered calamari, pork belly and summer salad. The pork belly was my favorite. It was perfectly crisp and juicy and the egg on top was so runny it was a perfect bite with the salad and bread.
Entrees & sides - most of us ordered the prime rib or boneless New York. I had the bone in aged New York. It was served so elegantly I wish I took a picture. I took a video I may screenshot and load the picture if I can take a good one. Not sure if the presentation was for my birthday or for that certain menu item. No one else ordered it so I’m not sure. The quality, flavor and temperature of our steaks was on point! So juicy, flavorful and delicious. We ordered and shared sides for the table (mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, squash, corn, mushrooms, and truffle fries). All great but the corn was my favorite, it was definitely Mexican street corn influenced, which I loved.
No desserts because we all ordered a steak and were too full but they brought me a chocolate lava cake for my bday which was delicious!

Service was great. The venue is great. Sides were wonderful. The menu was pretty limited to Steak, but it is a Steak House. My husband and I both ordered the ribeye (our fav). I was a little surprised by the price, not as expensive as I would have thought. SO DISAPPOINTING. Super thin, like 1/2" and full of fat. Mine was not as bad as my husbands, so I gave him most of mine. This is the second time we tried LB Steak and most likely our last.
Just charge a little more if you have to and serve a decent steak.
Loved our dinner, the staff treated us so great!
Server did not greet or provide great service. Didn’t come and check on us and we had to ask for everything. I figure paying $250 to take my wife on a nice birthday, you’d get exceptional service. I don’t ask for much but a basic customer service skill should be minimum. Absolutely horrible.
