Service was exceptional, very attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary and they provided Champaign, making us feel special.
for being a steakhouse the service is not great at all, food quality is very poor. store bought steaks are better. the dry aged steak not worth it at all poor quality. sides were okay. never will go back again. was extremely unhappy with the food.
Overpriced for patio dining and a mediocre cut of steak. Service was good enough considering the patio set in the street but not at all as good as recommended.
Outside dining was set up nicely but if you weren't near the resturant directly, the ambiance was off and you couldnt hear the resturant's music

Amazing time celebrating my husband's birthday at LB Steak! I was the dreaded vegan customer at a steakhouse but our server was so accommodating and asked the chef to make something special for me. Drinks were fabulous and my husband raved about his Rib Eye! Definitely will be back!
Made a reservation for outdoor seating . Host took my group first to indoor seating. Asked for outdoor seating, host responded there isn't any outdoor seating available. Show the host reservation confirmation. Host rolled her eye then took my group to outdoor seating. Ordered 2 filet minor, 3 rib eye. Both filet came out very over cooked (one actually burned outside pretty bad). Server took the meat back and brought new one. Server was really nice and treated my group very well. Would have all 5 star experience if it wasn't for the host and the meat.
Great food, great service. Only downside was the incredibly loud muscle cars that insisted on driving by every 30 seconds. That’s not really their fault though.
Food was exceptional but the service was questionable despite the price. They are in the expensive side in the Santana Row, but I did not mind paying for the high price since the food quality met the standard. However I was very disappointed with the service, especially the greetings where they made us to wonder around outside in the crazy wind, understandable due to Covid, but they could gave us menu to look at. Another factor was the server pretty much “threw” the sauce plate after seeing us without any explanation.
Our main server was above average, friendly and professional. We really liked him and he made us comfortable.
But other waiters and waitress were unprofessional, careless, and rude to an extent. Maybe we were overreacting? But we were the only Asian during that time frame and knowing what has been going on in the U.S in regards to the Asian-Hate, the service delved us to think that way, especially seeing that unprofessional servers having a joyful conversation with White people.

Easy to reserve, options for inside/outside, great table service
Easter dinner. My food was not cooked properly and was very sub par. Was very surprised as the last time I visited it was great. Disappointed and not sure we’ll be back. Server was very attentive though.
This was an amazing way to spend Easter. It was calm and quiet and felt extremely safe dinning here during the pandemic. We chose outdoor dining for our reservation and the spacing of the tables made the experience extremely relaxing and comfortable. The food is still their amazing quality and overall it was a great experience.
My Easter meal was a disaster. The waiter recommended a $125 bottle of cab(which was outstanding) and then no fault of his own delivered a raw rack of lamb that had so much cristle the knife wasn't sharp enough to cut through it. I returned it and sat and watched while my visiting cousin ate his meal. Then he got to watch me eat mine after he was done and mine had arrived. The menu said it was accompanied by garlic smashed potatoes instead there was some broken sweet potato chunks that had the feel of lump charcoal. They did comp us a cocktail to appease/ sooth our displeasure. Believe me I would have preferred a good meal. My first restaurant experience post Covid was awful. It looks like I didn't miss anything this past year. Our server Ozzie was very good. Kitchen and management gets F-
The service was as usual very good which is reason for me to dine there on my birthday.
The ribeye steak was excellent. My other guests enjoyed the French toast and the tater tots and more. The waitstaff was always around for anything. The restaurant was very relaxed and spacious.
Had a very nice birthday dinner for my wife and daughter on Saturday. Service was excellent and good was really good too!

Hosts and waiter were very unwelcoming. The kitchen closed in 15 min after our reservation. When the hosts saw us walking in she left the front to go tell the waiter how we are there. She made us wait, then said “we’re closing soon” as if we didn’t make a reservation for that certain time. It also wasn’t a big deal since we go frequently and know what we’d like to order. She sat us at the bar table and when I asked to be seated at a regular table she said no. The waiter we first had kept reminding us the kitchen was closing when we were ready to order this whole time. They also mentioned that what we wanted would take a long time to make, making it seem like they couldn’t make it. We tried ordering a drink and he said “don’t have it”, didn’t even give a recommendation or anything. We had to ask the waiter to move us to a regular table, which was better because we got another waitress who was amazing. We ended up leaving before the other guests so not sure why they were unwelcoming to seat us. Don’t take reservations at 8:45 if you’re going to be unwelcoming to your customers.
Drinks and Apps were good but the steaks lacked in flavor .

I was disappointed with the thickness of the ribeye. I'm used to getting an 1.25-1.5 inch steaks at other fine steakhouses. I don't remember the steaks here being that thin.
Our steaks were good. The sauces were good. The sides were good. The service was good. No complaints.
Somewhat expensive, but had a really nice time. Food and Service were terrific.
I will return.
We went to celebrate 2 birthdays and asked to sit outside. Good socially distanced tables and practices, warm with heaters. Bone marrow very good, lobster bisque more tomato than creamy but enjoyed.Cowboy steaks wonderful as was the 8oz filet, cooked perfectly. Very pricey for 4 people, good for a special occasion, with soup, salad and drinks we, we passed on dessert. Would recommend sitting inside for a more elevated dining experience.
Service was 5 star and food was just as good. We love LB Steak house. Try the bone marrow you wont be disappointed.
got the 35 day dry aged ribeye and tasted like it was microwaved. decent steak but not worth the $55 it was priced at, or even close to the number.
Food was wonderful. The table that we sat at could’ve been somewhere more intimate considering it was a birthday celebration for two people. Service was wonderful . Ambiance of the place was nice.

Top notch! and most consistent table service. We go to LB Steak when we want to be pampered, even though we can only afford the burger or a salad and 1 drink. 😆 looking forward to the return of happy hour menu so that we can afford to come several times a month.
This was our first inside dinner since the pandemic started. Good food and a very nice place!
Foremost, the food was fantastic! Cheers to the kitchen!!! The cowboy steak, Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms created the best meal we’ve had since SIP!
The service, however, was shoddy. We received our cocktails after the dinner was served. Has to prompt for one glass of wine, and then never saw from our waitress from that point on. She literately disappeared.
So, we would return for the food - however, I would hope pacing and timing of food and beverage service became a focal point for such an establishment.
Have been there twice and both times the service and quality was outstanding. Would definitely recommend to all and worth the drive from San Francisco to San Jose
