About Lawry's The Prime Rib - Las Vegas
Our name is our specialty: roasted prime ribs of beef.
We serve the finest aged beef available, slowly roasted to perfection and carved tableside from our famous silver carts.
While roasted prime ribs of beef continue to be the centerpiece of our menu since 1938, rib-eye steaks, fresh fish, and lobster, are core offerings. You'll know the moment you arrive--nothing like Lawry's The Prime Rib has been seen before in Las Vegas. The restaurant's dramatic Art Deco design, rich woods and vibrant color welcome you into a setting that has an extraordinary feeling of warmth and elegance. Here you'll find award winning food, exceptional service and unmistakable style that has made Lawry's a dining legend. Lawry's The Prime Rib - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
My wife n I make it a must do when we come to Vegas for the NFR rodeo. It has always been a major highlight of our trip. We have always just been astounded at how perfect everything has been for us. The quality, the tradition of it is an event we plan for every year. This year coming will be no exception!
P.S. please build a location in Scottsdale

We enjoy the retro vibe in Lawry's and the show that always goes with the presentation of the spinning salad bowl (good salad too) and the carve to order cart for the prime rib and sides which are part of the dinner. We were celebrating our anniversary and they make a lovely evening of celebrations! The seasonal carolers were wonderful too!
Come here for special occasions and never had an issue with anything. Some of the newer staff need a bit more training as they seemed to be rushed. The more seasoned staff have it down to a science. Portions have become much smaller than what I remember; I used to not be able to finish a Jim Brady cut and bring it home for my dog. Now the entire cut is devoured. I love their salad, but they have also downsized that. Someone is probably watching at margins now, but this won’t stop me from coming to this property. Overall, a very professional environment.
It's took over 1hr to get food, mgr came to our table and stated cook burned our steaks and was starting over he would adjust our bill after dinner... we received our steaks and were over cooked..... not good in the steak dept. And we were charged full pop.....
Can’t say enough about he prime Rib here. So amazingly good. The service was great and everyone was extremely nice. I even had the valet driver sneak in my surprise gift for my wife and the waiter took care of the rest and new exactly when and how to deliver the gift. Even the guests next to us were in ahhh of the how it was all handled. For me it’s a bit pricy, but it’s WORTH price and will definitely come back. Bye the creamed corned is absolutely amazing
This was our 14th wedding anniversary!. The manager never came to check on our table nor greet us... the time it took in between each course was too long... and the congratulations dessert had poor presentation with no inscription “happy anniversary”. Food was great, but if you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, this isn’t the place to make you feel special. They could do better.
Not worth the price, Lawrys may have been first but others have certainly perfected the prime rib experience. No stranger to fine dining but as locals we have had much better food and much better experiences for $450. If you want steak in Las Vegas, try Gordon Ramsey Steak, Carnevino, Lavo, Capital Grille. Looking to simply impress and not partial to the steak, try Le Cirque or Eiffel Tower. Better spend, hands down. Lawry's was disappointing all around. If you aren't stuck in Vegas: House of Prime Rib in San Francisco is the same menu, better flavor, better price, better ambiance, with sides and seconds (yes, even on the steak!) included.
This was a last minute dining spot. We took our mom out to a show in Las Vegas for her birthday gift. while waiting for show, decided to make reservations for dinner after the show. It was perfect, quiet and great food and service was excellent. Our mom had been to lawrys years before (different location than LV) . It was a perfect ending to our evening, was late , restaurant was not busy. Service staff made some food/wine suggestions for our meal.
