About Lawry's The Prime Rib - Las Vegas
Our name is our specialty: roasted prime ribs of beef.
We serve the finest aged beef available, slowly roasted to perfection and carved tableside from our famous silver carts.
While roasted prime ribs of beef continue to be the centerpiece of our menu since 1938, rib-eye steaks, fresh fish, and lobster, are core offerings. The restaurant's dramatic Art Deco design, rich woods and vibrant color welcome you into a setting that has an extraordinary feeling of warmth and elegance. Lawry's The Prime Rib - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Lawrys never disappoints! We come here for lunch every time we travel to Las Vegas from Orange County, CA. We have been here more often than the one in Los Angeles because it is much more accessible with no traffic. We particularly love the 50s decor of the interior and the comfortable booths. The staff is always courteous and the service is excellent! I'm sure we'll be back next time we're in Las Vegas!
Once again Lawry's prime rib comes through with a delicious dinner. Prime rib was juicy and full of flavor and the mashed potatoes and gravy were just like mom makes them. The service was top notch. Greeted with a smile and treated like we were the only ones that mattered.
Great right from the very start, meeting in the bar (great bartender) to being greeted by Fernando and being personally attended to by Ms. Phillips & Mr. Hernandez... The service was outstanding and we really appreciated the tips & serving suggestions as 2 of my guests were "first - timers" but sure to return again. I also appreciated the B-day desert for the wife of my customer who was thrilled that we thought of her...
Great evening aided by thoughtful & caring folks.. Thank you,
The Vegas Lawry's wasn't quite as good as the Beverly Hills Restaurant. I ordered the prime rib/lobster combo. It was the 9oz lobster so it was $40. The lobster was just ok. I've had better lobster at Red Lobster for much less money. The prime rib didn't have the flavor as the Beverly Hills Restaurant. The center of the Vegas prime rib was tasteless, even the au jus didn't help. Our friends ordered the rib eye steak. They were not impressed. In fact, for the price it was very mediocre.
Honestly aside from the service, nothing was impressive. Bland flavorless potatoes and the Yorkshire pudding was burnt almost to the point where it wouldnt absorb the au jus. I take it back. The acoustics were impressive. Its a very quiet dining experience, even with a lot going on inside of one room. But being from the midwest, the food left a lot to be desired. A real shame.
The salad dressing was not like the other Lawry's I have been to. It seems they are cutting back on the quality. There was not the familiar bottle of dressing but a gravy bowl, possibly they mixed the recipe to save on cost, it failed in comparison to the real deal.
I have dined at Lawry's many times. I am never disappointed. The atmosphere is comfortable, Service is first class and food is exceptional. If you love prime rib, as I do, there is no where that is better for quality and quantity. Will definitely go back again and again. They also have an excellent selection of fine entrees for the person who does not desire beef.
