Get meal for an intimate birthday celebration with my husband!
Impeccable service and amazing food!
Food and service were excellent.
Excellent food and service. As usual. One of the best restaurants in Vegas
I was extremely disappointed with this meal . The prime rib was bland as were the king crab legs . Nothing special about this place. I will not return. We did have an excellent waiter though.
As always the food and the service exceeded expectations. Can't wait to return for another fantastic meal.
Portions and quality seems to be slipping... Great service and exceptional waitress (Ariel).
We dined in Las Vegas with friends on vacation. We loved it! We have enjoyed the one in Dallas.
Lawry’s prime rib is the best we have ever had. If you are yearning for Prime Rib this is the only place to go. A great experience will be had by all
we’ve been patrons of Lawry’s for over 30yrs and we live in Los Angeles . I took 2 customers to dinner at the your Las Vegas location and we were the first reservation of the evening at 5 o’clock! we all order the California cut with the weekday upgrade special.
the cuts a beef were below Lawry’s traditional standard.
It appeared to me the grade of beef was of a lower quality that one would expect from Lawry’s. too much gristle and lots of fat. To be honest I was embarrassed for my customers. We are a prime Lawry’s VIP card holder we will always come back to Lawry’s just wanted you to know about this experience at the Las Vegas location
This was my Dad's wish: to eat the best prime rib in the world.
Today, as well as during other Lawry's visits, his wish came true.
Love this place. Excellent service, best Prime Rib, comfortable and charming ambiance.
Took my paintball team. Party of 10 people. Chad was incredible, extremely patient, very thorough. Prime rib is aaaaalways amazing. We need a lawry’s in Hawaii.
It was excellent. Started out with shrimp cocktails and a glass of Bubbly. Very good. Both of us had the medium prime rib. There was no need for a steak knife. I had the diamond Jim cut. The prime rib tender, juicy and delicious. The creamed corn was our 2nd favorite. Would definitely go back when in town. The wine list could use some help though. Glad I brought my own.
This is my third or fourth time here and Lawry's Is not what it use to be. Our waiter, Mr. Trujillo, was very poor and basically nonexistent. We felt ignored most of the night. He even originally brought the bill and left 4 of the 5 entrees off. That's indicative of how much attention was given to our visit. The food is good but extremely pricey for what you get, not worth it with so many other choices in Vegas. Two of the side dishes were luke warm, probably due to the waiter's inattentiveness, and my entree(the Lawry cut) was smaller than in the past. They also overcrowd the dining room to the extent the wait staff are constantly bumping you or your chair. Very disappointing especially since Lawry's was very good in past years.
Prime rib was on point and service was ideal. Had a group of 10 and waiter did great to get us all taken care with food and drinks. Creamed corn is best I’ve had. Ever. Highly recommend!
Made our reservations too late
Had to endure the staff prepping for closing
It was a little annoying
Upon arrival there was a gentleman working the valet who was busy texting on his cell phone, and my immediate thought was not a kind one; as this is a high end restaurant. As I struggled to figure out which door to walk in, he just glared at me, one would think a valet who had no cars to park would help an elderly woman, but he didn't offer.
I was greeted by a nice gentleman and woman, and promptly seated at a lovely table for one.
My waiter; Mr. Ball was friendly and attentive.
My meal was delightful.
Service inside the restaurant was impeccable.
Upon leaving I was unable to get a signal for my ride; I asked the valet (who was once again with his face stuck to his cell phone screen) if there was a better place to stand for reception, he shrugged. So, I walked a bit to the parking lot, and got a signal which was promptly lost. I found this to be frustrating, and asked him again, and if any other customers had problems, he shrugged. At this point I walked inside and spoke with the host who explained it is a very big problem there and that their wi-fi is only for employees. Then he suggested having the valet call a taxi for me, and I explained that he was unhelpful. We walked out, he called a taxi, and my ride arrived, so I asked him to cancel the taxi; he was rude and it's not worth writing what he said to me.
I'd hoped a nice restaurant like this would hire friendlier staff who weren't stuck on their cell phones; after all, they do have a dress code.
Waiter having issues with staff walked away from us in obvious conflict which left us in uncomfortable position. Otherwise we enjoy going on trips to vegas
The art deco interior is very reminiscent of club dining and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The menu seems a bit sparse, focusing mainly on prime rib, their specialty. I enjoyed a ribeye steak, quite excellent. I'm not really a fan of alacarte sides and tend to avoid them. Two from my group opted to "upgrade" their selection for an additional charge. Didn't note much improvement over what was offered with our meals. The only part of our experience that did not measure up was the prime rib carved table side. There was a fairly noticeable disparity with what represents a 6oz cut. One guest had what I would expect from my deli, near paper thin. As I stated, my steak was quite excellent. I sampled my wife's prim rib however and my taste buds didn't exactly break into their happy dance. A very good meal but did not achieve my expectations.
Lawry's has been on my bucket list for many years since reading a magazine article about it. But my wife is not a fan of steakhouses had "been there done that" so she never wanted to go. I now live in Dallas and planned to go to the Lawry's there when I got a chance but have not yet. I was in Las Vegas for business last week and a co-worker mentioned Lawry's as an option for dinner. I seconded the choice! There were 4 of us and only one had been there before. We started with a cocktail and the bread. The bread was sourdough and ok. None of us wasted stomach space with appetizers. We each got Prime Rib which comes with whipped potatoes, yorkshire pudding, and salad...all included unlike other steakhouses! The salad came first of course (turns out Lawry's invented the starter salad). It was good and just the right size. They spin the salad on a bowl of ice and mix the house dressing in front of you. Then comes a cart with a carver with the prime ribs. You can order various sizes and your cook. We got 2 medium Lawry's cut, 1 medium rare Diamond Jim cut, and 1 well done (not me!). The carver nailed them all. It was one of the best prime ribs I've ever had! I can't wait to try the Dallas location and Lawry's is on my must-have list next Vegas trip.
Food was very good as always. Waiter was more interested in talking than listening. Drink I requested was incorrect and waiter did not resolve. Extras we requested were not delivered in a timely manner with our meal. First time I have experienced an issue with service.
Came here on a birthday celebration and it was excellent.
Terrific prime rib and salmon entrees; beef is carved tableside; knowledgeable wait staff and old world comfort plus great wine list and terrific cocktails.
My husband and I both ordered the prime rib. The meal was good, but not outstanding. I've had better prime rib for about half the price elsewhere. I was expecting better, given that this is their "signature" dinner that they are known for. The ambiance was very nice.
We always enjoy Lawry’s when we’re in a city that has one. It’s very kitschy to us and the food is delicious. It’s the only place that my husband will eat prime rib.
Great food, worth trying. I will be returning very soon.
I have eaten at this location many times and I am never disappointed. The food, service and ambiance are always impeccable.
We love our meals at Lawry's! Its one of our favorite restaurants. Ellen our server, was excellent in the Las Vegas location. Give her a raise!
Perfect as always, delicious dinner and great service
First of all they welcome you as you enter as if you where someone, then they seat you and the waiter comes immediately with a warm smile and greets you. The food is delicious and I like how they come to your table with the prime rib cart and ask you what kind of steak you desire and of course for me it was medium rare and the taste was mouth watering. Over all a great cozy place to eat and I recommend it for a great evening out.
This is our 3rd visit to Lawry’s for wedding anniversaries . We first came here three years ago and fell in love with the ambience and romantic decor. The food is amazing and makes the journey from San Diego to Las Vegas well worth the trip. We will definitely be back again next year.
Very cool, 30's Art Deco feel!! The Prime Rib was excellent. We also had the house spun salad & mash potatoes
I love Lawrys. The food the ambiance and the service all great. I usually order the rib eye but next time I definitely want to get the famous prime rib, my husband let me try a bite of his and it was delish. Since we were celebrating my bday they made me feel very special with a little dessert that was also Delish!
unique expérience / moving table out for ease at sitting; served at table side; hostess very friendly and accommodating; just-right size serving (did not leave overstuffed as usual); everything delicious, loved watching prime rib being cut.
We chose Lawry's to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The entire experience was outstanding and we were treated very well. From the Hostess' greeting to the the server delivering the check. Everyone was professional and courteous. Our prime rib was prepared by a Master Carver which made our meal very special. Our server, Mr. Ayers was exceptional in recommending dishes and being low-key about my boyfriend not wanting to make a big deal out of his special day. Mr. Ayers, you truly are an exceptional server and we will ask for you the next time we are in town. Thank you very much for making such a memorable experience for us.
Never lets me down, delightful dining experience.highly recommended.
The prime rib is a must! It was a perfect medium rare, but you can also request for it to be cooked to your liking. I got the Brady cut which was 16oz, and a slightly thicker cut from the traditional Lawrys cut 10 oz. The meal is a great value, and comes with several sides. I opted to try the trio of sauces, the green peppercorn and blue cheese were my personal favs. I loved how each section of the restaurant had a different colored theme and ambiance; ours had the emerald colored booths. LIstening to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra really added to the experience. I would definitely come back again.
The restaurant ambiance was really nice, our server Chad was on point and gave us good information about the menu since its our first time. The prime rib was really good but price is not for frequent dine out option. Love the booth sitting. Good for special occasion.
