STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY
PATRIC AND CHEF RUDY VERY FRIENDLY
Excellent experience. The atmosphere was very sambient. The sevice from Dustin and DK was supetb. Absolutely one of the best birthday dinners
I have been dinning at Lawry's at multiple locations for over 57 years. I have never left disappointed. The first trip to Lawry's snagged a wife for me, and we still both love our experiences here over the years.
Great food! Great atmosphere! Nothing else like it anywhere.
Bad service from the check in desk and server. Seems there may be new management and not sure they care about a quality experience
very pleased. a waiter trainee was trying so hard, but we just couldn't get on the same page. regular waiter stepped in and saved the day. good experience. seated at time of reservation, service questionable at first, but all turned out ok. an as expected evening and my expectations are high based on previous experience with Lawry's.
The overall experience was good. I had requested the Lawry's Cut - medium, but it was mid-well and very tough with not a lot of flavor. I brought this up to the server, who immediately got her manager and they made an offer to fix it. I had eaten other things, so I was full - but she did not hesitate to remove it off the meal. Even in times where the food wasn't quite there.....the service always is. For that, I will continue to return. Thank you!
We arrived early for our reservation and they seated us right away. The waiter was very nice, and explained all our options. We started our meal off with the wedge salad. It was so delicious. I got the filet minion and asked for no potatoes and added butternut squash to go with my steak. My steak was burnt on the top and all I could taste was the burnt part every time I took a bite. The carrots were good but the butternut squash was over seasoned and didn’t taste like the squash. My husband got the prime rib with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. He said it was all good. We were there celebrating a birthday and the gave us a free dessert of their choosing which was a strawberry spread on top of white cake with whipped cream. Not that good. We also ordered the Creme brûlée. That was delicious. I think the restaurant is a little over priced for the food.
We were at Lawrys celebrating a promotion and there was no better way to celebrate by having the best prime rib at your great establishment in Dallas. The waiters staff was awesome and the food was deliciou, of course. I would recommend Lawrys to anyone that is looking for a place to celebrate any milestone in your life.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration dinner. The prime rib was excellent,
wine was flavorful...prime rib cooked to perfection....spinning bowl salad was cool, crisp and colorful....sides were superior and deserts were to die for....service was Supernatural...Ms. Miller (our server) catered to our every dining want and need...she is he very best...bus staff very friendly and professional...all at an incredible Value.. It is a dining experience we treasure. keeps us coming back each month since 1988. We can never get enough of a good thing.
I drove 91 miles from Pilot Point for my favorite..Prime rib. It's still my favorite.
My husband eats meat and I’m vegan. Lawry’s goes out of their way to accommodate both us. Him with a huge prime rib. Me with delicious grilled veggies. Even though I’m vegan, I LOVE Lawry’s for their salads, plain baked potatoes, mushrooms, grilled asparagus, and grilled carrots. We were both so happy with our dinner!
It is always our special place to celebrate any special occasion.
Havn't been to Lawrys in about five years before this time. On a friday night around 6;pm. Slow businesss, only one valet person. Very few in dining area. Prime rib was rather chewey. Service was ok. The waitress was nice. Waitress's not in their normal attire as in the past. Something is not quite right at Lawrys. I think the quality as slipped, and it shows because of lack of customers. In the past, the place was always packed, with at least 2 to three valet people. it is not the same as we were used to . For the price, the quality was not there.
Brad always provides friendly and consistently excellent service!
Birthday lunch for my hubby!
Overall satisfaction was a disappointment. Reputation is over rated.
Been going to Lawry's for 33 years, still my favorite!
Birthday dinner for a two couples
We have been to Lawrys many times. As always, the good was amazing. Our service this visit, however, was terrible. The waiter never refilled our wine or water. We didn’t even bother ordering dessert.
Excellent food and service go there anytime, seating in the main room provides a quiet atmosphere
We had heard about Lawry's Prime Rib for years and decided to try it while in Dallas for a meeting. The service was very good as was the ambiance and location. The two ladies ordered the Lawry's cut (mid-size) while I ordered the "Dallas Cut", hoping for significant left-overs, as this cut was $50+.
The carver wheeled the silver cart over to our table, stood the roast on end, and sliced a piece between 3/8" and 1/2" thick, tapering upwards as he approached bones. They served that to one of the ladies and sliced (what appeared to be) a slightly thinner piece for the other lady.
I was expecting a slice the width of the rib bone, but it was not to be. My slice was 1/2" to perhaps 3/4", (it certainly did not appear to be double thickness) although it was attached to the bone. In short, there were no doggie bags and we were all somewhat surprised by it.
As for value, one person had one glass of wine and we shared two desserts for a total bill, including gratuity, of $300!
I don't know about Dallas, but much better value at Laurenzo's (in Houston) if you are willing to spend $50 on a slice of prime rib!
It was our 25th wedding anniversary. We had not been to Lawrys in several years and decided to celebrate our anniversary there. It was so nice and it was like seeing an old friend after many years of being away from them. Every bite was wonderful and the complimentary dessert was the bomb!!! GREAT!! I must also say the Sourdough bread was awesome true sourdough. Loved it. The service was top notch. If your thinking of trying Lawerys do it you will not be disappointed.
Always awesome experience. Our server Ashley was great. Love coming here.
good food good service
went there for our anniversary
treated to a nice free desert.
Disappointed in the service, very slow and the food wasn't good enough to mitigate the poor service. This is said because when the staff are attentive, the food is better (hot) and the overall experience reflects that effort. But this wasn't one of those times and unfortunately cast a bad review on Lawry's. It'll be awhile before we attempt to go again (if ever).
Brunch was delicious. Great waiter. Enjoyable birthday celebration.
honored reservation on time, love the vip program. service was great as was the atmosphere. staff is attentive, friendly and competent.
Food and service were very good. We had Valentine's dinner special, which was very reasonably priced. My wife had the prime rib and I had the salmon. Both were excellently prepared.
We love Lawry’s and have been dining there since they were located in Oak Lawn. It is truly an elegant dining experience.
Hosts were amazing! Service was ok, the fellow seemed nervous and really not engaging:( very robotic in action). Food exceptional.
The carver- wasn't friendly either boo hoo:(
We always have fun at Lawry's. Food is consistently good, service is always top notch.
Very good service. Each person in our party ordered prime rib, and the cuts of meat were not consistent. Mine was excellent, my wife's was dry, and we ordered the very same cut and temperature. Lobster bisque was excellent, Caesar salad was average.
Tis is our go to place for nice dinner... we used to go only 2 times a year... but now we go at least 5 times... and have started to go on Friday nights for Fish N Chips for $10.00... not sure how long that will last... but it is worth it.
Service this past Saturday was Outstanding. Matt did a very good job and made our evening extra special. The food was Great also. The cost is very high and we only can afford to eat there twice a year. The free deserts and 25.00 off we get from the Reward system helps.
Lawry's is a very special place to us and we enjoy our two trips there each year.
This was the worst food experience I’ve ever had. We ordered two smoked rib eyes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The plates were $50 a piece and it was literally the worst steak I’ve ever had. The meat was undercooked and very bland. Save yourself a hell of a lot of money and eat somewhere worth it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have no idea how this place got so many good reviews. Horrible
Valentine’s Day special $125 menu. Service was ok/good. Spinning bowl salad is always good, wife’s prime rib somewhat tough, mine was dry, tough and looked old which I quickly returned. Replacement was better but not that great. . Dessert was good. Meal certainly not worth the price, not even close.
We always go to Lawry's for special occasions. There is nothing like their magnificent Prime Rib. Would recommend to everyone.
Great food and great service! Best Prime Rib in Dallas and the Cream Corn was to die for.
We had dinner here for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing. The prime rib melted in my mouth and the creme brûlée was spectacular. The service provided by all was top notch. Loved every minute!!
