We took our parents to Lawry’s for their birthdays. Fantastic experience. The food and drinks were great, but the staff made our experience so much more enjoyable. Travis was our waiter, and he was great. I told him as we were leaving that it is some of the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in years. He is professional, knowledgeable and just an all around nice guy. Highly recommend, and if you go here, ask for Travis. Other other staff member was extremely friendly and accommodating. Well done, Lawry’s Dallas!

You can’t go wrong with the Lawry’s Cut, served table side by the amazing Chef Carlos! You must get both the creamed spinach and creamed corn - they’re both the best pairing for your full prime rib dinner. Travis is an amazing server and he’s been at the restaurant for quite a few years. It’s always nice coming into town and enjoying a delicious meal with impeccable service.

Celebrated husband’s birthday here and it was perfect start to finish. Waiter (Travis) was efficient and attentive without hovering; extremely personable. Food (smoked filet, smoked prime rib) was superb. With appetizers (bacon-wrapped dates and calamari) we ended up taking half of our meal home. Complimentary trifle for the birthday boy was a nice gesture, and certainly oversized for sharing, but we ended up eating only a few bites. It was the only “miss” on the food. Great wine list as well.

As always, the best prime rib. We started with the lobster deviled eggs and escargot which was a great decision! Everything was great but I’m ready to switch away from the spinning salad. Get the Caesar salad and skip the show of the spinning salad.

Prime rib was cooked to perfection..salad was cool,colorful,crisp and delicious ...sides were fantastic...service was supernatural starting with Nancy (the Manager) who sat at our table to chat and ask how everything was,,she always makes us feel like Lawry's royalty..to Travis (our server) who catered to our every dining need and did so with humor and grace....to Sydney (hope I spelled it right) who met us at the front desk and was sooo charming. It was an experience we treasure, Keeps us coming back each month since 1988.

Having grown up in Los Angeles, going to Lawry’s has been a family tradition for decades for big occasions in our family, and my husband and I have continued that same tradition now that we lived in the Dallas area for the past 13 years. Lawry’s is definitely a “go-to” culinary destination for special family events, like graduations, anniversaries, and birthdays. Doesn’t disappoint!

My wife and I had a tremendous great time at this venue. The service provided by Michael was spectacular (explaining, making sure we understood what he was doing or our options). The food was very good, in portion and quality. My friend Scott Dale recommended me this place, when I told him that I was traveling from Austin to Dallas. To top it up, Nancy, Manager, greeted us to ensure everything was OK. She told us little bit about Larry's and how the business started. We always enjoy Lawrys! We were there on a Friday night and had an amazing dinner. We sat in a booth, but it was rather warm in there. We realized it was 100° outside…. but it was warm for such a nice restaurant…. maybe being in the booth made it warmer. But all in all, it was a great experience for our anniversary.

I said nothing because our guests were happy,but no one was served the Yorkshire pudding…only the mashed potatoes…our reservation was for 5 at 630 but we were taken to a table set for six…and I had to ask that it be properly set…but the service was fine.

Our best dinner yet at Lawry's. I got the prime rib with all the trimmings and it was all excellent. It was so much better than other restaurants where I have ordered it lately. My husband got the smoked filet mignon and was very pleased. Our waitress was very nice and efficient. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the aperol spritz ordered at the bar, it came with a lemon slice instead of an orange.

Lawry's meal last night was a real disappointment from Chef Jeremy. The chicken croquette was cold, the ribeye was sliced so very thin with layers of rolls of meat. The ribeye was dry and overcooked. We enjoyed the wines and the service was excellent. I hope next time the food is going to be something to write positively about!

Third time I've been to this Lawry's and it's a great experience every time. I go there. Food is great, it's nice and quiet so you can have a conversation with the people at your table and the service is great. Me and my Dad always go here when he's in town so it's become a ritual for us.

Went for Restaurant Week. Very nice dinner for $49. We got the prime rib, but although the server asked for Medium/med well, it came in really pink/red. Should have sent it back, but the rest of the food was really good. Dessert was excellent!
