Perfect treat and even 4 people singing Christmas songs
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We will be returning.
Always Great ! Service is outstanding! Ask for Keenon .
Drove to Dallas from Oklahoma City just to eat at Lawry’s. It was as wonderful as ever.
The main meal was pretty good. The mashed potatoes was on the dry side. I expected them to be moist and fluffy. And I couldn't taste the garlic.
The carrot cake was surprisingly dry as well. Thr cheesecake was delicious. I expected strawberries with them, but since I didnt specify, it came with cherries. I assumed strawberries was the standard. Our waitress was awesome. She told us she had been there nine gours so far when we arrived but I couldn't tell. She looked fresh and happy and provided us with excellent service. Lastly, there needs to be someone to care for the carpet/flooring after a party has left. The floor next to us was nasty and the next parry walked in the food the previous party dropped. That was disgusting. And the men's restroom was disgusting. That should be cleaned at least every 30 minutes. I expected much more from an establishment like Lawry's.
Thanksgiving dinner with my children who all flew in from different parts of the country. Wonderful dining experience vs. just eating dinner.
Perfect holiday celebration! Brad was attentive and so courteous. Thank you!
Thanksgiving
We had a great times as a family celebrating Thanksgiving.
Excellent. Mr. Jones was a real treat. Had my cousin there who had never been and she was blown away. I have been coming here for 25 years and it is the best! Thank you for a wonderful meal and night.
The prime rib dinner is very good but too expensive. It shouldn’t cost a family of 5 $320.00 before tip. No alcohol consumption. I wouldn’t recommend restaurant because of its prices. The chairs are uncomfortable as well as the table slanted causing plate to slide.
The service was very slow and the food other than the prime rib was terrible. Worst stake house experience. Leaving of a name.
Our spinning bowl salads were wonderful as usual. Our prime rib was cut to our specifications and the banana coconut pie was yummy. Dale our server took great care of us too.
Wonderful birthday celebration! Prime rib was incredible as always!
Great experience
Esteby our 21 year old server was amazing!!
If I wasn’t a Lawry’s fan already, our server would have converted us to being raving fans.
Great service. Loved Steve’s curly hair
I BROUGHT TWO GUESTS WITH ME THAT HAD NEVER DINED THERE BEFORE AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. AWESOME AS ALWAYS!
Food in service was excellent
Great service and great food. Always enjoy dining at Lawry’s.
Our appetizer, calamari, was very good. The spinning salad bowl (love it because it is retro), sides, cauliflower and baked potato, were also very good. Our service was excellent. So why the two stars? That is because the prime rib was just plain old poor. I'll start with my wife's prime rib (Lawry's cut). She ordered her's medium rare but the piece that was served to her was at best rare. We told our waitress, who agreed, and she took it back to the kitchen to warm it to medium rare. When she brought it back it looked like an old shoe. Our waitress, who was really on the ball, remarked that it was way overcooked. She took it to the cart and stood over the carver while he sliced another piece. This time when she brought it back it was medium rare as originally ordered. However, the real rub came with mine. I ordered the Diamond Jim Brady cut. That was the toughest and most sinewy piece of meat I have ever had. You could hardly cut it with a the serrated knife they provided and chewing it was something else. It was as tough as any piece of meat I have ever eaten. I don't know what went wrong but it was just terrible. Since we had already gone through so much trouble to get my wife's order correct I decided not to say anything (although I know I should have). Frankly I have had way better prime rib at Steve Field's in Plano (now closed) and honestly I have even had better at the Texas Roadhouse. We have always loved Lawry's but this was a bad experience and there are too many good restaurants in the Dallas area to return.
A great night out spoiled by a single detail. Our table for 6 had a flap extended to accomodate all of us. I sat at the end of the table with the flap. It wasn't level so everything slid towards me including the gravy on my prime rib. I had two knives also fall to the floor for the same reason.
As always, our meal at Lawry's did not disappoint. There are many steakhouses to choose from in North Dallas, but Lawry's offers a consistent value for the quality of food (not to mention the VIP bonuses). I'ave always looked at Lawry's as a moderately upscale dining choice, so I don't enjoy seeing people walk in in athletic wear for dinner. I wished they enforced a dress code a little more.
The prime rib has no flavor whatsoever. I was very surprised, considering it’s their signature dish. Needless to say, the cost was far too much for the taste.
CHRISTIAN is the BEST server in the planet! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! We will always return because of CHRISTIAN!!!!
We always look forward to prime rib at Lawry’s. The prime rib was very disappointing. Tough and just no flavor at all.
Wonderful time, my children really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Well, the last time we were there the service was extraordinary, but I think this little gal was new. She was scarce. Not something you expect for the cost of the meal. Plus, why not let folks pick the kind of dressing they want for the spinning salad?
I’ve dined at Lawry’s at several locations and this property didn’t disappoint. The food was wonderful and the service was immaculate. The spinning salad is a favorite of mine and it was served nice and cold with just the right amount of dressing. The prime rib was delicious and just the right amount, and the carving station added to our dining pleasure. The service was attentive but not overly so.
We celebrated a birthday that evening and the recipient had not dined at Lawry’s and will surely return in the future.
Thank you to all of the staff for a job well done.
Great as always
Great anniversary dinner
Place was a total letdown. Our $46 dollar smoked ribs were not prime but choice grade steaks - they had a ton of fat and gristle. I had to take it back and it was comped. Our waiter completely forgot to put in our order of sides which came in when we were half way done with our entries and get this - he then made up a story that there was a recall of cauliflower which is why it couldn’t even served! However, in the age of art phones and the internet- you can fact check such stories and low in behold - I couldn’t find any mention of it! This place really used to be legit but now it is only a shell of its formal self. We should have know since the place was pretty empty on a night where most restaurants were slammed. Never going back here - complete waste of money and you get far superior steaks and service at many other restaurants.
It has become a Birthday tradition for my fiance and I but the wedding planning webt longer than expected so we arrived for a late dinner on a Sunday evening. The food and service is what you would expect in a Friday or Saturday Rush. Jules left a very positive impression with 5 star service.
Our waiter, Travis, gave us exceptional service, as usual and the prime rib was great.
Mmm the best prime rib anywhere
I was looking for a quiet atmosphere so my whole family could hear themselves think and each other talk.
The ambiance and atmosphere was perfect, quiet and elegant. Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration. P.S. My only disappointment was the cake - I would have loved the chocolate brownie! :)
Always enjoy Lawry’s, truly a cut above!!!
Travis was our service provider for a table of 9.
Lots of drinking, eating appetizers, entrees, sides, deserts, after dinner drinks.
Travis was very professional and accommodating.
Top drawer service.
We flew to Dallas to tryout Lowry’s, no words can explain the experience other than than I’d fly out there again!
Amazing experience as always!
