And I brought my girl friend for her birthday but they forgot and never care us because we were sitting at the corner
Great restaurant like nothing else
The place has good ambiance and impeccable service. I did find the prime rib to be in the tough side. I had the Lawry's cut. For the price paid, the prime rib should have been as soft as butter. It would have been nice to have a steak knife, the butter knife and the rather tough prime rib was a tad difficult to manage.
Overlooking to an excess had me asking when I would be seated. Three times and 3o minutes late, I was seated. Others with later reservations were seated before me . Incredibly annoying and unprofessional. Food and service,were great. Not coming back anytime soon.
The food was wonderful which is the only reason I did not give a 5 star review. I'm not sure if Lawry's is overbooking, but I shouldn't have to wait 40 minutes to sit down with a reservation. Overall the quality of food was great, as always.
I do not know what good a reservation is here. We had a 7:30 reservation showed up at 7:15 not be late and still waited over an hour to get seated. Not what I call good service. I know at the price of their drinks they want you to wait in the bar to help their bottom line.
The Ladies ordered the fish. It was dry and sauce was so-so to say the least.
My server Mrs. Garcia and our carver Anthony made everything so much better! They made us feel like family. Thank you for hospitality and outstanding service.
Attentive service, willingly responded to requests for “extra’s” and it’s a family tradition.
Always a good meal to be had at Lawry's. Best prime rib available. Our server Mr. Held was top notch and left us wanting for nothing. He was charming and professional. Would highly recommend.
Food was delicious, portions are very generous, great cocktails, servers are extremely friendly and attentive, service was on point, loved everything about this restaurant! We will definitely be back!

You can't ask for more than Lawry's prime rib, however, you do get more....staff is attentive, friendly and on point. found one staff person worked at Lawry's California Center (35 -40 years ago) which I frequented, had a great time regaling stories with her. Great food, mixed with culinary history with the carving carts, spinnings lad bowl, etc., how can you wrong.....Portions are huge and wine list, even by the glass is very commendable.
Had a impromptu dinner, was in Beverly Hills at 9:50 pm on a Friday, loaded the open table app and made reservations for 10:00 walked right in, dinner was amazing.
The food is way overpriced. Everything from the seating to the plating was terrible. The steak as no flavor whatsoever. This place is definitely outdated.
I've been going to Lawry's for years and have always been impressed by their food and professionalism. This visit was no exception. If you love prime rib, you will love Lawry's.

We went here for our daughter's 18th Birthday. Lawry's service, food, and overall experience was perfect. Our daughter and her friends love love love a great steak and this place did not disappoint. They could not stop talking about it the entire drive home. We'll be back!
We've dined here several times before and had nothing to complain about, but this was not as favorable. Everything from food mix-ups, items not being tasty and being over charged on my credit card $238. Not to mention not being able to get in contact with the restaurant @ the listed #. Stayed on hold with a recording stating "someone will be right with you" for over 10 minutes with no option to leave a message on their listed # of 1-310-652-2827. I'm not happy at all.
I have been going to this restaurant for years (since 1981) and there have been quite a few changes. It still remains a premier dining experience for prime rib. They are celebrating their 100th year anniversary and therefore, a must-go-to destination for all Angelenos and visitors.
VERY HAPPY WITH OUR RECENT EXPERIENCE. WAS SURPRISED AT HOW TACKY SOME OF THE DINERS WERE DRESSED.

I've been coming to Lawry's for the past 40 years and it's a treat every time I come. I brought my mom there to celebrate her 80th bday, and she loved it. This past Tuesday I brought my dad there to celebrate his 94th bday and he just texted me and said it was the best birthday ever. Lawry's will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️
We Had family in from Washington on vacation. They had never been to Lawry's before, what better way to welcome to LA but to take them to Lawry's for dinner. They said that they loved it, and plan on returning on their next vacation in July 2019.
I know this is a prime rib restaurant, but I had a craving for salmon, and our waitress kept raving about the salmon, so I ordered it medium rare; it came back very overcooked, so I sent it back, and the next time it was still not prepared medium rare, but I kept it anyway. The chef should learn how to prepare salmon to the guests preferred temperature.
I sometime pass a good Restrant just to go to Lawry's . This time I enjoy it for the second vist.
It’s a good enough restaurant to celebrate or only looking for a gooooood steak.
This was our first time eating at Lawrys. What a treat ! Food was fantastic.They are generous with portion......be prepared to take home left overs ! Service was great ! We came here to celebrate our anniversary early.After dinner,they served us each a complimentary piece of cake cake........So DELICIOUS !Also a small glass of champagne to toast with. We will defiantly be back when we are in the area.

I had a decent experience after I chose to eat the prime rib. Initially I wanted to the rib-eye, but after I had to send it back twice. The 1st time was bc the steak was lukewarm at 1st bite. I took a second bite to be sure.. The second ribeye steak that came out had an almost cold center, I actually touched it with my finger this time bc I thought maybe I was on an episode of “Being Punked” and I also wanted to make sure my pallet wasn’t deceiving me... I love cooking, it’s my therapy, I also use Lawrys seasoning with plenty of my dishes, I think my entire family does. I travel the world and any where in the world my favorite cut of the cow is ribeye. Whether it’s New York Prime, Capitol Grille, Bistro Niko, in South Africa, Paris, Milan, The Turks, Monaco etc etc I’ve never had that experience with a steak from establishment with such high esteem. I settled for the prime rib which was very good, bc of the customer service from Mr Held was excellent and also bc I recognized Lawrys respects diversity within their staff by having a female carver Ms Corri I believe was her name, she was very kind and open minded. I really enjoy sharing my experiences with my family, friends and fans thru social media when I have a truly great experience at a restaurant. Honestly, I wish this had been one of those times. I will give it a second try, sometime this year. Perhaps theirs a different chef that knows that not only the plate should be hot, but the steak should also 😃😃😉 I’m goin to upload the picture I took just a week ago at New York Prime, here in Atlanta, which was also ribeye.. Ps, I always order it medium rare .. Thanks
Service and dinner were just as expected, but the ability to make reservations on Open Table was excellent. Just miss the meatballs in the bar/waiting area while I'm having my drink(s) before sitting down for dinner.
Always a wonderful experience. It is rare to find restaurants with this attention to service and food.
My two waiters were great, very friendly and attentive. The downfall was when I ordered my warm chocolate cake when opened it when i got home a big chunk of the cake was missing. Its as if someone put a spoon and scraped it. Im thinking maybe the kitchen forgot it was to "go" and scraped the ice cream off?! But in that case just cut a new piece. It was unprofessional. Other than that the food was good.
Our server was great
It was 3 couples celebrating all our husbands 65th birthdays. The food was very disappointing. The salad was watery, no eggs, no croutons, no tomato's. The waiter gave us those items on the side. It took 30 minutes to bring a glass of wine to the table. When we were served our prime rib two of the ladies were served very tough pieces so they exchanged for a leaner piece of prime rib. The side dishes were all good. The waiter was good in spite of us being disappointed.
