Everything was great!! Except I wish they didn’t discontinue the unlimited meatballs & Potato Chips they give while waiting to be seated. We do get Potato Chips but we have to go to the bar to get it.

This is an old school prime rib parlor. Nothing special about the president me rib except they cut it at your table. Everything is below par. Service is intrusive. Dining room is outdated as are the uniforms. Wine list is horrible. Were they good at one time? I can’t see it.

A classic restaurant, always good. They have it all down to a science.

The food and service were top notch as usual. Our waitress, Laura, was attentive and personable. The portions were ample, however, we thought the cream corn was kind of skimpy for 4 people.

My husband and I have been coming to Lawrys for over 30+ years. The prime rib is the best we have ever had. The servers are so friendly and courteous. It is worth driving almost 2 hours to get a fantastic meal.

The prime rib is amazing! The mashed potatoes are the creamiest! The Yorkshire pudding is to die for! The lobster tails were nice and plump with a fresh sweet flavor, awesome!
We came here for our 38th anniversary. We live in San Diego and our last visit was for our 24th anniversary, too long but it is a bit of a drive...totally worth it!

Thank you

Celebrated our anniversary there yesterday
Too crowded- reminded me of a public transportation hub
I am used to Alexander’s in the Bay Area so it was underwhelming
Had to wait 20 minutes despite having Opentable reservation made a month ago
Once seated we found out why
The food if you are into old school food could not be better
Cocktails are watery so stick to wine and beer

As always, a tranquil oasis for those who enjoy prime rib as the star of their dinner.

I’ve always been a big fan of going back to Lawrys each time out of towners visit, but this time was a bust. Service was just ok, but wow was the food subpar. The sides were great, but my meal did not warrant the near $500 we spent as a family. I think I’d rather go to Lawry’s Carvery instead.

Our rare prime rib was over cooked
The med rare was undercooked
We got a not reminder for a reservation we had cancelled
Prime rib should come rare when so ordered

Well I've been going to lawrys for 35 years and at no time when I've brought an outside dessert was I ever told there would be a cake cutting fee. I was in disbelief and the hostess was not even apologetic. I would like to know if this is a new policy. The funny thing is I didn't need and cake cutting they were mini bundt cakes the waiter just could have brought me the box. The Waiter did take each one and place it on a plate I guess that's what I paid 3.50 for.

The waiter was busy I guess my grandson (7) asked for done cherries he never got them. We ordered green beans after my grandson got his meal and the waiter said they might take some time we said that was fine, but we never got them. I love Lawrys but this was disappointing.

Where did the meat balls and chips go?

We were placed in a lovely quiet section with a beautiful low lit setting and quiet music playing in the background. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. They even brought us out little complementary cake and champagne for our anniversary. Really such an enjoyable intimate evening.
