   Best meal in town for special occasions. I've going to Lawry's for over 40 years and haven't been disappointed yet. Just had the "Lawry's Cut". Excellent!!! Along with the fabulous cream corn, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and their spinning salad plus the great sourdough bread is the perfect amount of food for me.

   Lawry's has been our yearly celebration restaurant since the 1970s. The food is excellent. The 4 star rating is because of the extra touches, now gone, that made Lawry's a cut above a fine dining establishment: coat check, peanuts at the bar, cocktail waitress who carried your drinks to your table, meatball and homemade potato chip appetizers while you waited to be seated, waiter/waitress who turned the toppings into your potato, sides that came on your plate, tomatoes in the salad with beets and egg you could see and taste. To be fair, our server Eric Zimmerman, was the most attentive, caring waiter we had, other than Ms. Sargent. He constantly checked on our needs without being intrusive. His manner was gentle yet efficient. It felt that our experience was his number one priority.

   I ordered the Lawry cut. My wife the California cut. I think the Lawry cut is a better choice because it is the right thickness to enjoy prime rib, and the California is too thin for my tastes. Our servers were on top of everything, topping off our water glasses and taking away empty plates. We are not big eaters and had enough left over to take home.

   Went for my bday brunch and it was a fabulous experience. The servers were all very nice and attentive. The food and drinks were spectacular. The flavors were on point. The prime rib is def a must. Get the medium rare so it’s even more tender. I got the medium and wished I got the medium rare. The salad reminded me of egg salad flavors. The Yorkshire pudding was okay. I went right when they opened so it was quiet but it did start getting busy later on. There’s plenty of free street parking if you go on Sunday in the daytime. Only negative was that the bathroom was not kept well.

   My prime rib came warm, ordered some sides some mushrooms and cauliflower, got them after the meal, The manager took them off the bill, I went there for my birthday thought it would be nicer, my wife ordered the crème brûlée not very good watery, my first and last time to that restaurant.

    This is the 2nd time in 2 months we've come to celebrate long-awaited pre-Covid birthdays. We appreciate the safety precautions--from masking to hand sanitizer available, as well as outdoor seating. The food is still the same great Lawry's but updated with a seafood tower (100% recommend) and creamed kale (yes!). The servers are outstanding--from wait staff to valets.

    i have been there over 50 X since late 1970' this is first time i felt a bit disappointed with portion of food and service it is not what it used to be. but i love the food so i will continue to eat there

    Lawry's The Prime Rib ALWAYS DELIVERS! I have been coming here for almost 50 years and my children have been coming their entire lives. (My once vegetarian daughter used to ask to come to Lawry's just for the salad, corn and spinach!) The food and service is consistent and wonderful. Moreover, Lawry's has accommodated those of us still concerned with our environment and has heated outside seating that is done very nicely - one does not lose the Lawry's experience when eating outside. Food was great; service was great and all in all it met our expectations - it always does.

    No Yorkshire pudding given, had to ask. Half our guests were served 20 min before the other half. Their food was cold as they waited for the rest to be served. Long wait for food. Order was taken wrong food arrived not as ordered. Special occasion and very poor experience. Very disappointed. Waited 30 min for car afterward.

    Lawry's is a place we go from time to time often for special occasions. We were there for a graduation, and it didn't disappoint. The food was outstanding as was the service. Lawry's has been consistently excellent as long as I have been going. It was great meal, and I would recommend it to any and everyone.

    Food was great, although I've had better prime rib elsewhere. However, the prime rib was very tender. The main issue was that the prime rib came out lukewarm. In addition, $30 for corkage fee seems a bit high; $20 is more than sufficient! The quality to price ratio of the food was decent but not exceptional. Nevertheless, I would definitely come back again, as our servers were wonderful.

    As always the food was delicious and the service was great. Although, I felt we were being rushed as we were barely ordering and we were already being given our salad. Also, one of our servers was plating our mushrooms and usually we do this ourselves. We've been coming here for 20 years and this normally doesn't happen. Overall dinner was great.

    Outstanding food, service, and value. The Prime Rib was excellent. The sides were good as well (although you don't need the bread or mashed potatoes). Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Definitely need a reservation. Go, and enjoy yourself.

    They were very busy. Both of our steaks were a bit cold. They asked how things were, they took the steaks put them back on and when they came out were perfect. A little hiccup but they responded well.

    This was our first visit. We were celebrating a graduation. Although the host asked us if it was a special occasion and we told him our son had just graduated from college, nothing was offered to our son as a way to mark the occasion such as a drink or dessert. The food was delicious except for the salad - we thought it was a caesar salad, however the dressing was not caesar and it was not tasty and it was overdressed. Everything else delicious and cooked well. As you probably know, it’s very expensive, but we enjoyed it. We were surprised there was no cart service which they have not brought back. The hosts were very accommodating when one of our guests was delayed which we appreciated greatly.
