We had to leave early because of plumbing issues. I felt like I was rushing through dinner.
We went for Sunday’s brunch. Patio seating.
Good food and atmosphere.
Saw great looking pizza when I ducked in one evening recently.
Dropped in for brunch with the wife.
Loved the outdoor inner courtyard!
Blood orange mimosa carafe was fun.
Bruschetta with burrata was nice. I enjoyed the distinctly charred bread. My wife found the charring excessive and the taste too bitter.
The bacon flatbread was a disappointment. We found the crust chewy. Our preference is for less density, more airiness, a la Mozza's pizza crust. I had hoped for something like it based on the appearance of the pizzas I had spotted there. We also found the top underpopulated, under flavored.
Fantastic as always. Great food, spectacular service.
It was just ok
We were a bit underwhelmed. The service was so so. Food was good, but nothing special I could find anywhere else. And very noisy
From the hostess, wait staff, bus staff, everyone was professional, smiling, and very helpful.
Dinner for a birthday celebration, followed by drinks with friends on the sofa on the patio. The servers & maitre’d went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of!
Great food and drinks. Very posh crowd. We got the raconteur and gangster drink with the lollipop sprouts, margarita pizza, and bread pudding for dessert during happy hour on a
Friday at around 7 pm. It was awesome!
It is very noisy inside. This place is a scene. The food is good and the courtyard is lovely. Only pity is that some people need to screech and shout to prove how hip they are. Go early to avoid the scene if it’s not your thing.
Always enjoy coming here. Try one of their cocktails! Good portions of food and very tasty.
it rained and all the seats outside were wet. had to wait 40 minutes for a table we hd a reservation for.
Food and drinks were good but the place was over booked so we had to sit at the bar. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem but people were bumping into us and reaching over us all night trying to get drinks.
This place used to be fun, but service has gone down hill and they completely ruined our night recently. Reservation, they did not honor, very late and stuck us at the bar. What happened to this place?
Poor, inconsiderate customer service, from hosts to waitress.
The food and drinks were good though a little overpriced we found. There was enough variation (from "just okay" to "delicious") that the prices seemed 15% too high. The short rib pasta was a highlight though the squid ink carbonara left us nonplussed. The mescal bar in front of the restaurant is a nice touch.
People are saying bad things about the service and I won’t give it 5 Stars just because that they serve the food with minutes apart from each order . My friend finished her seared tuna when my pizza was arriving. At the other hand our server Nadia was awesome , great smile , checking on us frequently and very nice all the time . I just had a great birthday party with my girls .
Went for brunch on a Sunday, was excited to try the food and happy to sit in the quaint courtyard. Unfortunately the slow service and lack of apology was awful.
After sitting ya for our reservation, we waited over 15 min until anyone even came by our table. When someone did come we ordered and waited over another 15 min for drinks to arrive and longer for the food. We didn’t not end up seeing food until about an hour after sitting down.
This was frustrating especially while we watched a party of 5-6 people be sat near us (as we were waiting for anyone to stop to check in during one of the waiting periods mentioned above) and there drinks and food were out before they were even fully situated. I guess VIPs leaves the poor service as left over for the rest of us.
It’s a shame, the food was decent and the location is nice; would have loved to come back or make this a regular spot on our list, but with the lack of attentiveness from service I will not be back.
After it took more than 30 minutes for our cocktails to arrive we began to notice irritated diners all around us. For the second round half of our party went to the bar to try and get a drink faster... that’s when people’s side dishes (potatoes and bacon) began coming to the table at least 10-15 minutes before the first main courses began to arrive. Lastly, my boyfriends meal arrived more than 30 minutes after the first meals arrived so the res of us were finished by the time he began to eat - his meal was somehow not hot when it finally arrived. Our server did her best but it was clear she didn’t have the support of her management.
Upon arriving to the restaurant they seated us outside on a couch, which was not feasible for eating. When mentioning that our reservation was made days in advance they said other reservations had priority. They ultimately seated us insider, but the service was incredibly slow. The mixed up the order and made no effort to rectify it. All in all the food was okay, but a disappointing experience relative to the reviews and word of mouth.
Fun place. Best to sit outside. I must be getting old ....after 9 o'clock it just gets loud, young and loud and young. It's a good place to come with friends, have a couple drinks and not take yourself too seriously.
Great ambiance and good food but we waited almost 45mins for our table when we had made a reservation! This is the third time I have visited this place and the third time I have had to wait more than 15mins for my table. They need to sort out their booking system as being a busy Thursday night isn't the best excuse!
Probably more fool me for going back but the food and cocktails are great (when you finally get to sit down!).
We had an 8:15 pm reservation, was looking forward to a nice dinner with girlfriends, but it certainly never happened. At 9:30 they ended up seating us at a communal table. We ordered quickly as we were starving. Our food was cold, we had people bumping into us while we sat eating our meals. When we first arrived I thought this place may be a good date night with my hubby, nope never again!
Food was a bit salty.
Great food, patio dining best for conversation. Food great. Service so so. Four out of five entrees delivered simulatenously , the last came much later with no explanation and no apologies.
We had fun, food isn’t amazing and pricing either but the ambiance is great and our server was amazing.
Great food and ambience
Literally the worst service we’ve had in years.
This place is done. Terrible service. Mediocre food. It used to be good. Guess that's why it was only 1/3 full on a Sunday brunch.
Hadn’t been there in a long time. I immediately remembered why. The staff, with the exception of Aubrey, was extremely rude and condescending.
When I complained I was told “don’t tell me. Tell a manager.”
I will never go back to Laurel Hardware. Terrible experience.
I thought that the food and the atmosphere was amazing, but I made a reservation and I called to tell them that i was running a few minutes late and they confirmed that they would hold my table. When we got there they had given up my table and sat us at a community table shared with other people where it was very noisy. Very rude.
Corporate dinner booked three open table. 7 people.
Some apps came 10 mins after mains arrived (one main 15mins late) and they made an extra chicken dish....and tried to get us to buy it and share it
We had to sit at the very back lounge...we all ordered the duck fried rice....as there was no table to eat off...we figured we could eat that bowl and fork....on our laps.
Our meal was $640...the service (kitchen timing) was a disaster
Rude hostesses, tried to seat 8 people at a table meant for 4, even though there were private tables open.
Great location!! The food took pretty long though, understandable for because it was a busy night.
Very enjoyable place. A lo to unique seating opportunities. Some common space tables and some romantic corners.
We went to Laurel Hardware for Valentine’s Day and had a nice table for two on the patio. Our server was very friendly and attentive, refilling our water glasses and making sure we had everything we needed. We had the Hamachi Crudo off the happy hour menu and it was a very simple dish with clean flavor. A nice way to start the meal. We followed that up with the Duck Fried Rice and the Skirt Steak. When the food runner saw that we were planning to share the food he promptly brought us two more plates. We finished with the Croissant Bread Pudding and it was quite a treat. Valet parking made getting in & out hassle free. A great spot!
Although everything was tasty I didn't think the food preparation and presentation were very skillful. Our server Chris was friendly and did a good job. A very beige, dark, and rather loud environment and the smell of the bar was overpowering.
It’s loud, so not for dates or with people you don’t know (or if you’re softly spoken or hard of hearing!)
My favourite first date go-to place! It's so romantic in the courtyard that two people can't help but have an enjoyable first meeting.
Our party of 5 was seated promptly on the patio. Thats where the positives stopped. Server was very nice but completely overwhelmed. The bar service was ridiculously slow, waiting about 15 minutes for our first round. An order of the bottled iced coffee arrived about 50 min into the meal, after repeatedly asking for it. The food was also ridiculously slow arriving and arrived 1 person's meal at a time with a total of 15 minutes between the first and last meal delivery. Once delivered, the sausage sandwich was cold and bread not toasted. The hamburg ordered medium was so raw it was actually just cold ground beef in the middle. Server brought it back to the kitchen and a new one, not much better, arrived 15 minutes later. On a nice Sunday afternoon the managers should have the restaurant more adequately staffed! Including servers, bartender, runners and kitchen staff! We were just discussing today what a waste of $180 it was for us!
