We are a neighborhood restaurant bar with new american cuisine influenced by local flavors.
We offer communal, lounge, high tops, low top, indoor and outdoor seating for all reservations. Please note, reservations are for full dinner service only. Specific seating is not guaranteed but we do take requests and try our best to fulfill them! We also happily accommodate walk-ins should you decide to come in last minute. Thank you for choosing Laurel Hardware, see you soon!
Food was very average. Cold and tasteless. We didn’t enjoy the food at all.
We were celebrating a girls weekend getaway in LA. The ambience Outback of the restaurant where they have created a green house with lit trees was amazing! Trendy yet romantic. The food was fabulous had a spaghetti Bolognese and a prosciutto pizza. It was delicious our server was super friendly and very attentive. Would definitely recommend and will go back!
This was our second time here but the service has gotten so bad since the last time we were here.
They even forgot to bring my friend’s birthday cake.
I checked in at the hostess stand for an 8:00 PM reservation, but our party of four wasn’t seated until 8:45. At 9:15 we still only had water - the server hadn’t even taken our drink order. I used to love this restaurant but this decline in customer service - especially when you have a reservation - makes it unlikely I’ll be back.
Bad and rude service
Had a reservation at 8pm but waited over 30min before being sat at our table. Other than that everything was ok.
celebrating our 1 year anniversary
Everything is great. Cool but not so cool it isn’t fun any longer.
Laurel Hardware is my favorite place to eat when I have out of town guests. I know the food and service will be consistently superb. The atmosphere is cool with the lounge, bar, dining area and even the outdoor patio dining.
Great birthday dinner
Laurel Hardware was great. Amazing food, ambiance, and vibe for a Saturday night.
Loud and obnoxious man seated (against fire code) in the aisle right next to our table ruined the end of the evening. Food was good but service was slow, and the management’s response to our displeasure was insulting and lacking. Then charged for another table’s dinner on top of our own. Was completely unacceptable and would never recommend again to others.
Went to Laurel Hardware for brunch on a Sunday with some friends - amazing food, so yummy and such pretty presentation. Definitely would recommend and will for sure go again!
I had written in my reservation that someone in our party had a soy allergy and then made sure to tell our waitress when ordering our meal exactly who had the soy allergy, but when the food came out the person (my boss) with the soy allergy could not eat his salad because it had edamame, which is a soybean. The waitress brought out a fresh salad but left my boos with a bad impression and a unfavorable experience. Other than that it was a lovely venue. thank you.
Food and ambiance is good, slow service. Would still go back though.
One of the most versatile eateries in LA to suit your multiple vibes and personalities. They have an atmosphere to suit every mood. Whether you are feeling romantic, moody, outgoing or reserve. This is the place. Not to mention the food is great. A little pricey for the menu. But great value for NYE!! Glad we chose this spot over the millions of restaurants with over priced pre-fixe entrees.
We celebrated an engagement dinner party here and they made sure to have a great experience for us. Would recommend to anyone.
Oh Laurel Hardware, how I want to like you. It's close to my home but the food is always either over-dressed or over-salted - the foundation of the food is there but there is someone with a heavy hand in the kitchen - might come back to try it for a 3rd time and hope that the flavors are more balanced.
Had a lovely girls night out! The food was all really tasty and a good value...fun to share and try new things. The cocktails were a tad pricey, but it is LA after all. The atmosphere was really beautiful with all the twinkle lights and the indoor/outdoor space. Would be a great spot for a date night. Very enjoyable and will be back!
Overall good experience with a couple complaints. We had reservations for dinner but we’re sat at this “cozy” booth table that was NOT conducive to eating a full meal. Very cute for cocktails and lounging but very awkward to eat at. Wish we’d been sat on the patio. Also for two tall people, we were very uncomfortable the whole time. Brussels sprouts were unexpectedly bland for trendy and delicious the rest of the food was
some of the tables are problematic, i was seated at a communal table to have dinner with my dad after making a reservation and asked to be moved- i was told id have to wait if i wanted another table. of course they sat a table of 6 rowdy drunk guys who were slamming the table with their fists and bouncing our plates all over the place.
Nice Ambience and good food. Music is a little loud inside. Next time would request to sit outside
The staff are very pretentious, and unfriendly. We had to switch tables and our new waitress never checked on us or even spoke to us. We had to get water and plates from someone else. Unfortunate given my friend was here from out of town and we had such a disappointing experience.
I love the drinks and dinner was great. Service was horrible. I would love to speak to the manager here about my experience.
Great atmosphere, very good and friendly service; meatball appetizer was superb, branzino was very tasty, panna cotta presentation was innovative.
The food came super fast and waiters and waitresses were very sweet, the manger checked on my table to wish me a happy birthday. Overall for the first time it was an experience I would like to do again.
booked for a special birthday for outside. When we arrived were told the patio was closed for a function. We were not notified of this. Then were told we could sit on the lounge at a low coffee table. This is not acceptable for a dinner. service was slow. food and drinks super expensive though good. the patio would have been conducive to conversation but the now overcrowded indoor seating was horrible. won't be back
1. i made a reservation to sit at a table. had to wait several minutes for the hostess to seat us. she was rude. upapologetic about the wait and then shoving us at a communal table when there were many free booths. she got nasty when we said we politely calmly said we wanted to sit at a private table. slamming menus. silent treatment. passive aggressive. this is who you hire to be a HOSTESS? come on guys. that's who you want to represent you?
2. drinks took forever. the special steak was over salted. like bad salt. waiter was nice and didn't send it back but felt really sick the next day. maybe by special you meant spoiled?
3. send the bratty hostess to manners school. if she thinks that attitude can be her thing, she's wrong. i'll never go back there again, which is sad because it used to be a great place.
Amazing food, service!
I love this place, I save it for when I friends or family in town and it is a special occasion. The food is outstanding, space is very inviting and comfortable...a great place for a long leisurely dining experience.
Epic as always
Service was a disaster..tiny table with no place for more than two plates. Server did not bring food in time for all the guests. This is the first time I experienced this here
Food and Service was outstanding
Very happy to visit again! It’s always been great.
Service was a rocky start but was made up for by our servers commitment to handling my severe allergy and over communicating when necessary. Music was also played through Bluetooth pods of some kind (I assume the WiFi was down) which was totally fine until whoever was streaming the music walked away and the music kept cutting out more often than it played. Despite that it was a great evening and we really enjoyed the food.
Beautiful place. Food is just okay. Our service was also just okay.
We visited Laurel Hardware after my wife and daughter had attended a live show at one of the network studios. We made the reservations at the last minute using OT and were accommodated by the management. The food was excellent, the wine was reasonably priced and the service was better than expected. The ambience was a little less than acceptable since it was so dark in the interior. We were offered outside seating which would have been ideal. However, our daughter did not have a wrap or jacket, so the outside would have been uncomfortably cool for her. Other than having to using our cell phone lites to read the menu and wine list, it was ok. Again, we were offered an alternative, but that did not work for us.
This is a good find and we are glad that Open Table has them in their system.
When I made reservations I requested outside. When I arrived I was told outside was not available and I would have to wait 25 min. I went to look around outside and there were three tables and a table in the bar area. When I told this to the hostess she said oh, yeah we can seat you now outside.
I ordered the Caesar salad and ending up getting very sick that night at home. Maybe because of the romaine recall, who knows. Won't get that again. Server was great!
We had fun
I had sent a message to have dessert delivered. Never happened. A speaker hummed at us the entire time and our waitress only checked on us twice.
