Laundry Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful- lots of flavor in all dishes. We had a party of meat eaters and vegetarians and everyone enjoyed. Family style dining - not one plate sent back empty. Mac and Cheese and Pow Pow Shrimp favorites. Peach Cobbler was delicious- yummy!! Really nice atmosphere and decor! Service was top notch and attentive! Oh and the spicy margarita lives up to its awards!! - it has a little bit of bite - but in a fresh way :)
We have been fans of Laundry since it's opening and, unlike so many spots, they continue to evolve and change things up. From a great meal at the bar to a 10 person celebration, they continue to serve up winners. The array of food & drink coupled with the team of JJ, Michael, et al, makes this one of our favorite spots to go anywhere!
Laundry is a delightful find in Steamboat Springs. Our party of four began our meal with excellently mixed cocktails including a mocktail for myself. We shared small plates and the seared greens special was our favorite. We followed with the pig roast & peach cobbler which we all enjoyed. We will be back for more.
We love the Laundry! Tristan, our server, rocks! We enjoyed a special date night with delicious apps & infused tequila drinks. It is, however, very loud in the dining area. It was a bit hard to hear each other over the table. The walls are beautiful, original, exposed brick, but they no doubt aid in the amplified noise. May I suggest some kind of decorate sound buffering additions to the walls? Overall, we enjoyed our date night!
My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Laundry. Our server was attentive and informative about the menu. The food was absolutely flavorful and delicious. We tried about 4 small plates (pork belly tacos, beef brisket, burrata, pow pow shrimp)and each had their own unique flavors. The bartender was a cocktail master and the margarita was wonderful. We finished our meal with a bread pudding recommended by our server and it too was extremely flavorful and rich. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Laundry if you're in this area. If you visit during Happy Hour items are a little less and you can try even more small plates.
My wife and I discovered the Laundry about a year ago but never had the opportunity to have dinner there till the other night..what a great place ! Wait staff was great..Ryan was our waiter..he explained everything about the menu. Ordered the special, Hiramasa fish (?) with avocado puree and parsnip puree (fantastic) and a frisee salad, the amazing Hash, Chocolate Pot Du Creme and the Budino. The Fiery Margarita was perfectly spicy...we totally enjoyed our dinner, the atmosphere and the friendly and informative staff...will definitely be coming back...and with friends!!
We had another fantastic meal here. You can slurge on small plates or pig out on a large meal. The pork and sweet buns are amazing. The meat is marinated perfectly and the buns are a perfect combination. The BBQ large meal was outstanding. Ribs, porkbelly and brisket. The homemade coleslaw was refreshing too.
Delicious as usual. We were starving so we started with 2 apps, the (new) fried artichokes and Pow Pow (fried shrimp with sesame powder). The Tuna entree came with a micro-green salad and a few potatoes (delicious!), hubby had 2 apps for dinner, the Carpaccio and the brussel sprout dish and lapped up every bite. We shared a new dessert that they call doughnuts ~ they looked like beniets, even had a little powdered sugar on top, but they were sitting in a glazed caramel sauce that was KILLER GOOD!! Waiter was very attentive so everything arrived hot & delicious. Everything was Umm-umm Good!!
One of our best restaurant meals ever! We had heard that Laundry was considered to be one of the best restaurants in Steamboat and we were not disappointed. The menu is fantastic because it is tapas style, with the portions being large enough to share with 3-4 people. Our 2 favorites were the brussels sprouts hash and the pig roast. The donuts for dessert were small and wonderful - 5 to a plate, so once again a great bite for everyone at the table. If you are in Steamboat you need to eat here!!
Delicious meal at Laundry. We like small plates, and the artichoke heart tempura and brussels sprout hash were a hit. We also ordered the "pig roast" large plate and some fries. This easily fed three people with some to take home. The chocolate pot de creme was a perfect ending, one plate and three spoons! We would happily eat here again.
We have been to Laundry several times before and have always had a great experience. The food is creative, fun and very good. The wait staff is very attentive and helpful. If you are visiting Steamboat and want a more upscale dining experience give Laundry a try. You won't be disappointed.
We decided to try Laundry based on the reviews by other guests. We weren't disappointed. From the service to the food, the entire experience was outstanding. We shared a cheese board, the Pow Pow shrimp and the steak. ALL were fantastic. Thank you for making our evening a night to remember.
One of the best dining experiences we have had, everything was amazing! Read the reviews and decided to give it a try, we love Steamboat and we were excited to try a new place especially with the rave reviews! Laundry did not disappoint, it exceeded our expectations. My husband and I first ordered cocktails, (the Fresh & 43 is a must try) and a Cures & Cheese selection which included delicious additions to compliment out choices. We then had the chef special of Perogies with Carnitas, Pow Pow and the Mac & Cheese. We finished with the chef special of donuts made to order and salted caramel gelato. Tom our waiter was attentive, informative and delightful. The entire evening was just top notch and the food was beyond amazing, wonderful flavor combinations and obviously a very talented chef. This is truly a gem in Steamboat and we will come back every time we come to town!! Go tonight, you will be happy you did!!
