We had a wonderful evening the food was outstanding but the value of the 4 cocktails we had amounted to the same value of the 3 course meal.
Attentive and swift service. Delicious food.
Great food as usual the egg and soldiers is outstanding
Outright fantastic
Fanctastic food
Excellent service
Strongly recommend
The team is incredible - I am coming once a week. I love it. Merci ! ph
Launceston place is a true gem. Amazing everything, genius chef and incredible staff.
Beautiful food - chef so talented! Amazing service and experience too
Always perfect
One of the best meals I have had in the past twelve months, by far. Superb, whimsical, innovative but most importantly delicious, served with élan and beautifully balanced informality by delightful staff. The Taste of Winter menu was exceptionally good value and the wine list, with its good by-the-glass selection and wide range of pricing means that even adding drinks to the mix doesn't inflate the bill by too much. Ben Murphy is an incredibly talented chef and the restaurant was deservedly busy on a Tuesday lunchtime. I can't recommend Launceston Place highly enough, it's just wonderful.
Had the tasting menu - great food and good service.
Unfortunately had a bad experience with the wine whereby 3 of the bottles we tried to order were not available - this put a bit of a dampener on what would have been a really lovely meal.
Amazing food and great service! Such a theatre of food
Super cute place, great food, amazing service
This meal experience has been my best! The service plus the mind blowing food has given me memorable experience. My compliments to the chef and staff.
Excellent value for money for the pre-theatre menu!
Never fails to delight. The chefs are so inventive- I can’t imagine how long they spend creating their dishes. The service staff are absolutely expert. I would definitely recommend it to anyone
Wonderful food and great service, they deserve a Michelin star!
Food was good and very nicely presented. However the selection choice was limited with no beef or chicken in our set menu. The service was slow but they were keen to bring our bill without asking.
Great staff with great food. Will go back again.
It’s a very special experience.
Food still exceptional, but we ordered 3 bottles of wine and every one was the last one. Same thing happened last time. You do not expect this from a restaurant like this. Hopefully for the price they charge they can afford to keep a better cellar. still one of the few places n London on this quality of food that does not pushes you out after 2 hours. I also do not like this new trend of one word dishes with pictures, but I guess that is just me. I still believe if you read the menu you understand what you will order helps, but maybe this is old school. I had 3 menus like this in the last week so obviously a trend.
food rating based on their lunch menu which is good value and therefore doesn't fully show off their offering but definitely worth our 3rd lunch visit in as many months.
Amazing food, very good experience. The staff is very friendly. Compliments to the chef.
New Years Eve dinner. It was outstanding!
As expected all the food we ate was beautifully presented and the service impeccable. However the food portions are very small and without the supporting cast of the amuse Bouche bread and chocolates at the end of the meal I fear we would have left feeling hungry after spending the thick end of £265 (inc service). My duck main although well cooked was in my option under seasoned apart from one end of one slice that zinged into life showing me what could/should have been.
Everything was perfect
Outstanding cooking and service.
Best restaurant in London !!!
Very special as always, tasting menu exquisite, pleased to see some changing dishes. Great service - a perfect place to celebrate
Had a lovely experience as usual. Took someone for the first time and she was very impressed with the food.
The food was excellent, especially the Pigeon and Duck - abnormal in a good way and surprised me considerably.
The service was not of a matched standard with the food tho. The waiting time was extremely long and the servers were not so friendly.
Overall, it deserves a trial, definitely.
It's always a pleasure to dine at Launceston Place . The food and service are always faultless .
Overall an excellent experience.
The food was faultless, and enjoyed by everyone at the table.
Service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive.
Would definitely visit again in the future.
Imaginative, impeccable cooking. Highly professional and attentive service.
A lovely dinner. Great food and service. Will definitely go again.
I am normally a fan of this restaurant but I was somewhat disappointed on this occasion. The young lady who showed us to the table didn’t know that a smile can speak a thousand words and that a bad attitude would speak even more.
Service rated great from the manager to poor from his staff. Not the norm for them.
Food was great as usual, luckily!
Very salty. We had to drink two big bottles of water between two of us just to survive the night. Heard similar comments from the guests at the table next to us.
It was not late, but the waitress was desperate to clean the table even when I was still eating with the spoon in my hand.
Exceptional and creative cuisine. The Sunday lunch menu was very good value for money . Very chic place .
really good! every food I like~
It was such a fun way of writing a menu, of putting humour in the serious business of good food. Great twist in all dishes & an overall amazing delicious experience & ambiance ! Keep it up!
