   We had a wonderful lunch on the tented patio. The food was outstanding. We particularly recommend the veal scallops and the salmon main courses. There were many creative gluten-free options. Our server Abel was helpful, courteous and efficient…a model of what an excellent server should be. We will return the next time we are in Northern Virginia.

   Lovely restaurant out in the countryside of Virginia. Pretty ride after getting off the Beltway. Perfect for a special occasion lunch, prix fixe or at Jacques Brasserie.

   Great food and ambiance. Service could be a bit more attentive at times to check-in, by overall it was very good. This was our 2nd time at the restaurant and it hasn't dissapointed.

   Mother’s Day at L’Auberge Chez Francois was surprisingly lackluster. We dined outside on the patio near the gardens. The tables were widely spaced but devoid of any decorations. A small floral arrangement would have been nice. The patio was plain and lacked any atmosphere. Soft music would have at least helped. The “special” menu was the new daily prix fixe menu and offered no special brunch items other than crab cakes. I hate to say this but my husband’s Bouillabaisse was indeed a small dish and probably the worst Bouillabaisse he’s had in the DC area. Sorry Papa. We always celebrate new menus at our frequent restaurants but when they remove key items … steak and frites … it’s disappointing. The highlight of the day was, as always, the excellent service.

    It was extremely expensive, when we book the reservation in the menu the prices were very different than when we got there and was given the Mother’s Day menu. We will not come back $800 for 4 people and a child it was an astronomical fee Will not refer or ever comeback

    As always, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and, as a nearby table said, magical. We always enjoy our meals here. It is impeccable fine dining but manages also to feel warm and welcoming and not at all pretentious. The service is wonderful and the food is outstanding. Every bite is delicious. We were celebrating our 14th anniversary. We came here for the first time just two weeks prior to our engagement and have returned many times for our anniversary. Thank you to everyone there for another wonderful meal!

    My rockfish, and my wife's trout with almonds, were very good but not as special as last time. Sorry but we cannot be more specific. We were thrilled that the maple leaf crust, with ice cream, dessert was back on the menu.

    We have had dinner at L’Auberge Chez François at least a dozen times. We have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is elegant and warm, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is flawless. It will continue to be our go-to place for special occasions.

    Excellent experience. Food and service were exceptional. As nice as the place was, it was too warm. Maybe the AC was not working. The wine and liqueurs prices were higher than expected, but the sommelier makes up for that for his perfect recommendations. Definitely coming back in the future.

    The evening was lovely, we sat outside under the tent, which was great as it had just finished raining. The service was friendly and the pace was relaxed. The only issue I had, there were no heaters in the tent so we were a bit chilly. Other than that excellent.

    Come prepared to eat! The Wagyu Beef cheeks appetizer was superb! Kudos to the garlic bread too!! Salad was light and tasty, which worked out because the main course was fantastic (ordered the beef tenderloin pair with potatoes and veggies)! My wife had the NY Strip. The meet was cooked to perfection! Everything was delicious! Service was excellent!

    We celebrated my wife’s birthday 🎂 it was wonderful! The staff treated us like family, everything was great. The service was excellent, each course was paced not to fast or to slow. The food was fresh and prepared with care. Very happy with this restaurant!

    L’Auberge Chez Francois remains the number one dining experience in DC because every detail of the fine four course meal is exceptional! Never disappointed! This French cuisine is best in DC and the restaurant is nestled in the horse farm country of Great Falls Virginia.

    L'Auberge Chez Francois is the perfect spot for the celebration of a major event. It is costly, but you do get what you pay for. The quality of the food and service cannot be beat. I visited for the first time recently and was very impressed. Everything about the food was fantastic. Put it this way, if the chef's veggies were on order at your house, you would never have a problem getting the children to eat them. I love this place and need to save up so that I can visit again.
