    One of my very favorite dining spots in the DC area. Always a must when I come to town. The French country ambience as well as the delicious food, makes for a wonderful evening. The wait staff is always superb and attentive.

    As always, service was excellent, food was superb, and the setting is gracious. Be prepared for a relatively large bill at the end, as you pay for high quality in elegant surroundings.

    Classic food, beautifully prepared and plated in a lovely atmosphere. Definitely one of the few top-flight restaurants in NoVa. Everyone (6 of us ) raved about the evening. The wine, the food, the service. All impeccable. Four people hadn't been there for over 20 years. The other two of us have been many times. This was the best yet!!

    We hadn’t been to L’Auberge Chez Francois in a while, so I brought my wife of 55 years for her birthday. The dinner was everything I hoped for and more. Each course was prepared flawlessly and delivered to our table quickly. We both chose the Beef Wellington - a special last night - and it was delicious and very tender. I had the lobster bisque as my appetizer, and it was just very good and piping hot. My wife chose the asparagus and it was delicious. We both chose the Caesar salad and it was the real deal - the dressing was tangy and the anchovies made the salad complete. We both chose the chocolate soufflé, and they were the crowning touch to a wonderful, special meal. You can’t go wrong eating at this gem of a restaurant! The staff was courteous and attentive without hovering.

    We haven’t been here in about seven years and it’s still as amazing as we remember. Started off with the veal sweet breads, the duck breast salad (which was the special), followed by another special—the Beef Wellington, and finished off with the Grand Marnier soufflé. Service was impeccable and the sommelier helped us with opening the bottle of wine we brought from our collection to dinner. Thank you for an amazing meal and experience.

    Could NOT have been better! We sat outside under the tent with blooms and fountains all around us! Wonderful food and drinks too. A short but beautiful drive out of town.
