   We have been going to L’Auberge Chez Francois for years and have never been disappointed the food and the service are impeccable. Whether you are going for a special occasion or just for a wonderful dining experience. This is a wonderful restaurant.

   We were celebrating Mother's Day early. Everything we ordered was excellent. The staff, especially the waiter was extremely helpful and courteous, checking back with us on a regular basis to see that everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely go there again.

   We were married at L'Auberge 20-some years ago and often go to celebrate our anniversary. Always first rate, but last night was even better than usual. We've been to many of the region's finer restaurants over the decades and I cannot think of one with a more lovely setting and a luxurious dinning ambience. Its in the country. It's lovely. Tables seem yards apart. You can converse without raising your voice. Service is impeccable. The menu is extensive. The food and wine superb. The only demerit is the seating. They need better chairs. A small point, but important, especially for their older customers. Highly recommended!

   This rare find in restaurants is second to none! Take a walk through the gardens where the chef grows much of the food you'll really enjoy!

   We chose the Prix-fixe menu. Enjoyed each course at a leisurely pace. Staff could not have been more welcoming. Couldn't resist ordering a soufflé for dessert. We were there for a special occasion, but any visit there would be special.

    Why wait for a special occasion? We just wanted an elegant meal and impeccable service, so it was worth the drive. Note that you can request an a la carte menu if you don't want everything that's on the prix fixe. But I threw caution to the winds and uncharacteristically got dessert. Also, all the fish had a shellfish sauce or garnish, but you can get it without. Our server graciously subbed a beurre blanc. The food was superb and our servers were close to perfect (only one instance of trying to take one of our plates away before the other was finished). They even told us that just being there was a special occasion.
