Lattitude (West Springfield, Massachusetts) Ratings and Reviews
I love the food even though plating wasn’t up to my expectations . I ordered the Apple Bourbon Waffle and i expected apple slices carmelized in bourbon with whipped cream topping but i got a waffle with pieces and apple. Small portion as well but taste was great.
We were seated promptly. The menu was new and had a lot of different options, including small plates and larger entrees. I particularly enjoyed the Seared Fresh Tuna which was served on a crispy black rice cake. It was delicious. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing. It was a great night!
It is always a special experience when my fiance and I dine here. We are not frequent flyers by any stretch . However, we visit every year on our anniversary and this year was no different. The food is always incredible, the service always world class. So much so, that the price, while not exactly in our usual price range, is so worth it. The brussel sprouts are out of this world and whether we get the classics or rotating dishes on the menu, we are NEVER disappointed. What an amazing place 10/10 every time.
We celebrated my parents 69th anniversary and had a delicious dinner, along with wonderful service. My parents (in their 90s) raved about their scallop and salmon dinners. The final cap to the evening was a custom dessert creation from the chef prepared especially for my folks. It was an evening none of us will forget!
Always have a very good time. This visit we had friends from out of town. Our seating was perfect for our group of four to bring everyone up to date. Service and food were excellent.
Parking worked out fine. The menu was varied and interesting. The wine selections covered a wide range and the available choices suited us nicely.
Enjoyed another delicious lunch at Lattitudes. Have been there several times and it never disappoints. The food was excellent ... One of my friends and I had the salmon and our other friend had a chop chop salad with tenderloin steak. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent as well. Lunch prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is outstanding.
Have been coming to Llatitude since it opened - once a year while on business in West Springfield. From day 1 the food and service were exceptional and that has not changed. Jeff and his crew are friendly and efficient. Definitely worth going out of your way to have a meal here. In the wasteland of restaurants in the area, this one is a keeper!
A great experience on a Saturday evening out on the patio. Our server, Dan, greeted us promptly and was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and fun.
My husband and I enjoyed the delicious Brussel Sprouts as a starter and our entrées were delicious and prepared perfectly.
The entertainment provided by Tommy and Jim was excellent and they did a variety of music which made it even more enjoyable. We have been to Latitude several times now and we will definitely be back again.
We ate outside which is normally a nice thing. However, being so close to the road made for a noisy meal. It was hard to have conversation above the traffic noise. Having frequented this place many times, the food as usual was nicely done. Unique dishes which are always flavorful.
Food and sevice was exceptional. Our server took good care of us and had a wonderful sense of humor.
This is a great restaurant for a special occasion. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with our children. All are looking forward to our next dining experience at Lattitude. Carole and Michael
The food was good however my pork chops was a little on the dry side. The oysters and the fried Brussel sprouts are a must try. I was a bit disappointed at the bar service as we were not acknowledged while trying to get a drink while we waited to be seated. We tried to get someone to help but did not receive any assistance
We attended to celebrate the graduation of my daughter. Party of 5.
Atmosphere - Overall a dingy, warn-out look to walls and furniture. As we came in I could see into the kitchen area to the left of the hostess. One of the cooks had a dirty rag sitting on a cutting board, and as he walked by rubbed his nose with his bare hands. There was a tile missing on the kitchen floor. The wall outside the kitchen (in sight of the public) was chipped and missing large patches of paint. Nonetheless, I decided to go ahead and eat here as we were there for a special occasion, we were unfamiliar with the area and I doubted I'd find another reservation somewhere.
I noticed the bar counter was also worn in spaces, and the bar stools, high stools, and seats (all of wood) were worn, chipped and scratched. At our table the oil candle holder was smeared with soot stains.
Our server was very friendly but had to be reminded to bring bread.
Overall - the food was good but not especially remarkable. I had a good dish of beef short-rib that was properly cooked (served boneless) on a bed of pureed sweet potato and a small side salad of arugula with a mustard-lemon dressing. Nice.....but not unique. Those that ordered the pork chop said it tasted mostly of the gravy served on it. Another liked her dish of scallops. All served attractively and not overcooked.
Dessert - I asked for one scoop of ice cream ("one scoop? really?") and got the tiniest scoop of ice cream I've ever seen. Not home-made (Moose Tracks - a commercial brand) but the menu did say that.
So - overall - good food, not great. Service OK. Atmosphere - needs a serious upgrade. And someone needs to talk to the cooks about sanitation practices.
