Not even sure how to review Latitude 41. It might have been a clue that there were plenty of available times around a concert here and almost nothing else was available on OpenTable. Service was uneven, at best. We were seated after an awkward moment at the host's stand. We had looked at the cocktail menu online but asked for one when we were seated because that was the one missing from the table. More confusion so we asked our server for it. Eventually it appeared. The drinks were delivered from the bar, which was allegedly very busy. Our second round of martinis weren't made correctly and were presented in rocks glasses. We ordered the Ohio cheese board and while the cheeses were good, the presentation was not great and it was served with really bland crackers. The redeeming thing about the entire experience was our shared wild mushroom pizza and brussel sprouts. Both were really good. The vibe of the restaurant is odd. It's located in a hotel so there must be a shared bar. The staff is polite but disengaged maybe. The atmosphere is attempted high-end but sort of dated.
Our server was really nice, however it took a while for someone to greet us and take our order. It appeared to be under staffed and a lot smaller than expected. The food was good, but wasn’t great. It wasn’t a bad experience, however, it could have been better.
This restaurant is a hotel restaurant and fits that description. We had read about it and thought it would be elevated atmosphere, but were disappointed. The food was ok, but over-priced for what you received.
We attempted to use Opentable reward, as it was an option when booking. The restaurant had never heard of the reward, didn't know how to process and after 20 some minutes we told them to forget it, as we had to leave and were going to be late to our show.
The food was incredibly bland. We paid $20 for chicken with absolutely no flavor and completely dry. Complete waste of our money. Absolutely will never go back!
Great relaxing dining experience. Carl was exceptional with food suggestions and wine pairings. Definitely a place we will visit again soon!
Everything was great, but we caught some serious sass from the seating host for being 10 minuets late for our reservation. Which I would have understood had it been totally packed. But there was PLENTY of seating available. Didn’t appreciate that very much considering it was a foggy night with rain and traffic. Otherwise great food, greatttt wine, good service and a perfect location for a Valentine’s Day dinner.
Great service. Food was good and a good value. Atmosphere is just okay for a special occasion, would be okay for a typical night out.
This was, hands down, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was a bit pricey for us, but was worth every penny. Our server, Carl was awesome. He was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. He went above what you would expect from the average server to make sure that we had a good experience. We will probably go back just to have him as our server again! The rest of the staff was also very attentive. You never had to wait for water or for an empty plate to be taken. We left very happy!
Menu was very limited, server never provide a drink menu from bar. We had to ask for bread; which came very late. hanger steak was good, lamb shank was bland. Server seem to be lost all night, never brought out silverware with dessert. Very disappointed
Our waiter was incredible and gave us advice on which dishes he loved and thought we would like. He paired us with a bottle of wine that best suited both our dishes and not our pockets and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. He made our valentines dinner very memorable and I believe his name was Carl so if you dine there, ask to sit in his section.

It was Freezing cold in the restaurant. Not very enjoyable.
The restaurant has great ambiance and is very quiet. The food was fantastic, but the menu was limited to only a handful of entrees. The service was great, they were very attentive and made sure our stay was good. The service ensured ur drinks were topped off, and we were never for want.
This establishment lacks management. Our server did not have the proper training to help us in the right way, nor were they supported enough to provide prompt service. Drinks were ordered that were never brought, non-alcoholic drinks were never refilled, food was delivered and not explained (the cheeses on the cheese plate). My salmon tasted microwaved, it was served skin side down which made the skin soggy when I am sure it was intended to be crispy and edible. The place was not very busy but they were clearly understaffed. Tables around us were getting up and leaving with out paying because everything was taking so long. The "manager" scolded our server in front of us and told him "he needed him somewhere else" when we needed him at that moment. Our checks were split wrong and there were extra drinks on our ticket. I have to write down what was on each of our checks and hand them back to the manager. He did not offer to comp anything for us. I also witnessed the manager eat something with his hands and then brush his hands off instead of washing them. I was appalled at the lack of leadership and mishandling of the New Year's Eve dinner service. They would be better off just closing than letting tables walk out with out paying.
SERVICE WAS EXTERMELY POOR. 20 MIN WAIT FOR DRINK ORDER, 30MIN WAIT TO ORDER APPETIZER, THEN ANOTHER 45MIN WAIT TO ORDER ENTREE, WHICH ARRIVED COLD. DINNER DRINKS NEVER ARRIVED, BUT SHOWED UP ON THE BILL...2.5HRS TOTAL AND MORE THAN HALF THE TABLES WERE EMPTY....HORRIBLE DINING EXPERIENCE, AND WE WEREN'T THE ONLY PATRONS COMPLAINING

This was literally one of the worst dining experience I have ever had. I felt I was in the twilight zone. It was empty on a Saturday night, certainly not a great starting point. I had a napkin lint in my water class, our salmon dish was ridiculously overcooked, our server was very average, the pizzas had way too much cheese on them, we were charged two different prices for the same drink, Waitress forgot one of our side dish orders claiming she "forgot".
We were treated well by all of the staff and enjoyed good food and drinks. While the food could have been a tad bit warmer, all five of us had something different, which says a lot of good about the menu and the variety offered. (Do be prepared, however, for the actual menu to possibly not offer exactly all the same items as shown online.) And the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. Will definitely return!
We wanted to have dinner close to the Ohio Theater before going to the Nutcracker, and Latitude 41 was perfect for this occasion. All 6 of us said the food was excellent, and I enjoyed how the sea scallops were prepared with spinach salad and vegetables. It is inside the Renaissance Hotel. The decor is very comfortable, although not trendy. The service was friendly and relatively quick for the quality of the food.
I was disappointed by my experience with the present Latitude. Several years ago on two occasions I was impressed with the quality of the food. I expected to experience that when I went there recently but was terribly disappointed. There was only 2 tables the evening we were there and yet the service was awfully slow.Besides the long wait for our food, the taste of the food was blah!I will not mind the wait if the food was good.We chose it in the first place because of the write up in the Columbus monthly mag. I can tell right away that they have a different chef. I do not think I will ever go back there again ,what with so many restaurant choices in town.
I got to the restaurant earlier than anticipated and chef was extremely accommodating in preparing something for me outside of the lunch menu. My lunch was fantastic and I will be returning to Latitude 41 when I return to Columbus
Don’t let the fact that it’s in a hotel fool you. The food and drinks are amazing. Quiet atmosphere- perfect for a date.
Doors were locked around the perimeter, and we had to enter through the hotel's valet entrance; none of which was posted.
The server wasn't unfriendly, but also did not make any attempt at connecting with us. I cannot place much blame on him, however, as he was only 1 of 2 servers working a crowded dining room. The service was very slow because of that. We waited upward of 10 minutes for soup! When the entrees came out, my partner's pasta was piping hot, and had a crust over it, due to the time it spent waiting under a heat lamp. My salad had a piece of chicken on it that I could tell had been warm at one point, but by the time it made it to the table, was little more than room temperature. We opted to skip dessert at that point. Will definitely not return.
My husband’s birthday mid November 2017. In town for a show and stayed at the hotel adjoining which we loved. We had reservations. Hoped to pamper him on his special day with a fantastic meal but it fell short of our expectations. The restaurant was fairly empty except for a large party behind us in a secluded area that kept the noise down. Food was mediocre for the price. The steak was very small. Service was slow. The cheese and bread appetizer was fabulous though. The staff was friendly but maybe short staffed at the time which is why it seemed to take forever to get noticed let alone served. While it was clean, well decorated and had a nice ambiance, we weren’t impressed overall so it’s not a destination place for us.
Be sure to get the potatoe leek soup. It's worth going just for the soup.
It's not a huge menu but what they do is done exceptionally well.
We were seated promptly, and the staff we interacted with were all friendly. My main problem was that on a menu with only seven main dishes they were out of one of them (and didn’t tell us upfront), and the one that we did end up getting wasn’t as described in the menu (overdone broccolini instead of grilled brussels sprouts). Have to say that there are far superior options within walking distance, so we won’t be back.
The server, Carl, was excellent. He was very tuned in to our wants and needs as well as being very congenial. The brussel sprouts were served as an appetizer. They were excellent and like none we have e er had. The scallops were seared and very tasty as was the skirt steak. We will certainly return.

We were 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant and the food took 50 minutes to arrive. Service was slow and food was not cooked as indicated. Poor experience, will not go again.
