We had excellent food and good service at a table with a good view.
The food was terrible. It was flavorless and very overpriced. We will never go back. We were all fighting over the salt shaker.
Had breakfast meeting with staff. Everything was fairly good. However they were only doing a buffet that morning as opposed to a full breakfast menu.
Always great experience and a great place to be able to talk
We were seated immediately for our 7pm reservation, we were about 5 minutes early. And that we the only thing that was good. Our waiter came over and said he was busy but would be right over. We waited about 20 minutes then we left. The restaurant wasn't crowded. We even saw him go get cups from the back and restock the bar area before coming over to take our drink orders which as I said never happened.
Extremely poor service. Disappointed. We live in Columbus, so for those who are traveling, don't waste your time.
Service was very good, but unfortunately the food was under seasoned, and over cooked.
We went there before Hamilton. Parking was easy, the food was great and the walk took seven minutes.
I plan to go there again.
Was excited to try this restaurant but came away very underwhelmed. A very minimal menu, scaled way back! Service was slow although waiter was very nice.
I asked for an alternative to potatoes and all they had was one vegetable. Like I said, minimal menu. Wanted bernaise or hollandaise sauce, nope! Wanted side of mushrooms with steak, nope! Don’t have that :(
Just not worth it for the price.
Great food, good street view and great service. Would recommend
Good food and service. Limited menu options, but still something for everyone.
Loved our server, the food was great. Loved to go there before the theater.
Brunch was scrambled eggs muffins bacon for 20 dollars. No option to order from
Menu. Completely overpriced basic.
Great food, excellent service, nice views, friendly staff.
Presentation was excellent, atmosphere was great, food selection was diverse, but the food was bland. All the elements of a great restaurant were there except no one was tasting the food before it went out. Easy thing to correct.
Very good. Only criticism is carrot cake dry, not very good. Other in my party said chocolate dessert very good
Close to Ohio Theater. Convenient to grab dinner before show
Great lunch - pizza was wonderful. Our server Mathew W. was the best!
The service was friendly but, one might say, distracted: long periods when nothing happened. (It didn't seem especially busy.) Things just took awhile -- and I am not one who likes things rushed, American-Hurried. The drinks, bread, salad, and food all were brought out in due course, but apparently carried on the backs of turtles. The manager (or someone) eventually brought our entrees and apologized for the delay (offering a round of drinks, declined), so I assume things normally were not so protracted. Fortunately, we gave ourselves plenty of time before the Symphony.
My wife had the halibut special and enjoyed it, cooked to her started preference (a bit overdone to my taste). I had the Lobster Mac, which I wasn't impressed with. Not bad, just bland, the lobster sort of rubbery. Plenty of it though. One generic roll per person.
Be aware the on-line menu did not correspond to the actual menu. The manager said they were trying to change it, but these things take time. See paragraph 1.
In short, we'll probably go again for the next Symphony (walking distance to the Ohio Theatre), but I wouldn't go there just to go there, if you know what I mean.
In the first place, this restaurant is in a hotel. The lobby doors into the hotel were locked and the valet did not seem to have a key so we waited until someone came out in order to get in. I thought it might have been a mistake of some kind, but when we left the hotel there were people waiting to get in because the doors were locked. Very few people in the restaurant at 6:00 and only 3 or 4 more tables at 7:00 when the "rush" seemed to be over. Our small Ceaser salads were missing the croutons that i had observed on others'. The salmon and halibut were overcooked (as in too many restaurants) but the flavors were good. They were out of the dessert (strawberry and rhubarb crisp) that I ordered but the flourless chocolate cake was good. The apple tart was enormous and doughy.
The food wasnt as good as i expected. it was my first time and i wasnt very impressed. The chicken and steak didnt taste super good. i choose this location for a birthday treat with my girlfriend and it didnt meet our expectations. i literally had to look for another place to make up for the birthday. Maybe i had high expectations when i was coming in. The ambiance and environment is great and classy but the food wasnt the best. it wasnt a great value for my money. i am less likely to recommend this place for special occasions.
The server was good though.
We truly enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner. While there was a limited menu that we unaware of, the choices were excellent.
They accepted are reservation then called back a day later to say they wouldn’t be open to honor our reservation times.
The restaurant was great, and the food was amazing (duck over risotto, and roasted brussel sprouts as a starter). Our server, Mary Ellen, was delightful and even provided chocolate-covered strawberries at the end of our meal, as a perfect blessing on our special date. We will definitely come back, and may make it an annual tradition before seeing The Nutcracker at the nearby Ohio Theatre.
I decided to make a reservation based on the location of the restaurant to my hotel...I was staying at the Renaissance, so I thought I would give it a try. I was underwhelmed.
I was surprised to find a near empty restaurant on a Friday night at 6:00 PM while both the Blue Jackets and Buckeyes with both playing at home, with a nearly sold out hotel.
Most of the wait staff was huddled around the visible kitchen in conversation with the chefs and not on the floor providing the necessary levels of service required to support such a pricey, but limited, menu.
Latitude 41 is a fancy name for, what may have started out to be special but is now, a "typical" hotel restaurant.
If you are looking for something special at this price point, there are better options found elsewhere.
For a fine dining restaurant the service was not that great. Food was good. We felt for the price we paid the service should have been more inviting. Like I said food was good.
The food was VERY good. The service was awful. The bar wasn’t consistent at all. We never received rolls that was suppose to come with our food per the menu. The waitress told us that we were suppose to ask for them... so I did... and never got them.
The ‘seasonal vegetables’ were deep fried bricollini- absolutely disgusting- like eating greasy fall leaves.
The medium -well filet grossly undercooked-barely a bump above rare.
The Coke and bourbon mixed drink mud poured-forgot the Coke.
The waitress was wonderful but
It came to a point where we were tired of apologies!
Besides the good food and great service, it gives you a parking option for events at both the Ohio and Palace Theaters.
The restaurant was very good. Our food choices were excellent and our waiter, Carl, was superb.
Possible the slowest and most oblivious service staff I have ever experienced. Server was nice, but that was the extent of the positive on that side. 5 of us were there for 2.5 hours and the place was not that busy. Fortunately the food was fine, but they even forgot to bring salads. Management apologized, though it didn’t feel particularly genuine.
Food was good but service was incredibly slow for as few people as were there.
pictures on open table and website look a lot better than they do in person.
We visited this restaurant as we were staying at the Renaissance. We had an early reservation so the stuff was not busy. Our server didn't know the menu, seemed to have to many tables, and everything took much longer than it needed to. The food $45 steaks was overcooked and tough. Stay away from this place if you want a good steak in Columbus.
The food was good, but for a Saturday night out it wasn't a lively place nor was it a quiet romantic place. I think it would be best for business dinners.
Everything was great from the food to the service. If I would have a recommendation it would be that the menu on OpenTable needs to be updated. We chose the restaurant due to the menu I saw and when we arrived at the restaurant, there was only a buffet and the hostess told me that they do not do a brunch menu anymore, just the buffet. However, everything was great and I would recommend this restaurant for a nice, simple breakfast.
I was generally underwhelmed. Although the setting was nice, I thought the food would be more interesting. We were there a Saturday night, so maybe it was limited menu but it was pretty uninteresting; meat and side dish stuff, not too creative.
And no real good vegan or vegetarian options. I had to order a mushroom pizza without cheese.
Worse than a typical hotel restaurant. Avoid it!
Nice hotel brunch buffet. No ordering off the menu.
Pizza was great. Shrimp Scampi with cavatappi pasta wasn’t too desirable. Service was great
We had a group of 8. We were seated immediately and received prompt and attentive service throughout the meal.
