   First don’t complain when you have a rush and you are understaffed. It is not my problem. Also the food was horrible. You didn’t have the shrimp cocktail I wanted and I was forced to have the fajitas but then you didn’t have flour tortillas and when the food came I didn’t even get corn tortillas. The beef was way too salty and no one even noticed when I didn’t eat any of the food.

   Definitely much improved since last time we went, but still not stellar. It is located on the bottom floor of a casino, and the atmosphere is open - very small as well. Good for a quick meal if you are staying at the casino. We went with a group for a birthday party. Would say the atmosphere and service were good, but food and drinks were just okay. My entree, the stuffed shrimp, was recommended by the waiter, and was nothing to write home about. It was also served cold, which didn't help. My husband and I ordered margaritas, also recommended, and they put all alcohol in one, and all mixer in the other. Others there were underwhelmed with the food as well - tough steak on fajitas, etc. Then we got a birthday dessert that we were charged for. Hmmmmm.....

   Used to be much better before they recently changed their menu. Food and service was not up to par; had two servers come over to help us but they were too young to take our drink orders.

   It is a good Mexican food meal. It is in Lakeside Inn casino - on the bottom level. They were very nice and I thought the menu was good. We were there for lunch.

   We were somewhat underwhelmed by Latin Soul. The pictures posted on Open Table made it look appropriate for special occasions so we chose it to celebrate my wife's birthday. We went on a Friday night dressed to the nines and were disappointed to find the other diners all dressed in ski wear after being out on the slopes. The saving grace for me was that the food looked as good in person as in the pictures but the restaurant was not as up-scale as the pictures had made it appear...I will have to do a better job of cross-checking establishments on other websites to choose where to celebrate big events in the future.

   We came to Tahoe to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary where we were married. We had reservations at Latin Soul. When we arrived we were greeted with a Hello and Happy Anniversary. We were seated right away. They wasted no time to serve us. Our waitress was great, service was wonderful and our food was tasty. Thank you for making us feel special. The LaMar's

   We never had the pleasure of dining here. Directions given did not indicate the restaurant was located in the casino. Gave up trying to find it.

   Different dining experience. Flavors and combinations of unrelated dishes. A good time that was not expensive. We would go again.

    Food was much better than expected. We went here to celebrate a birthday. Which included a free soup! Awesome. Our waiter was very attentive and comedic. We left satisfied and all at a reasonable price.
