I realize this is Las Vegas, but if I'm spending $500-$600 for a meal for 2, it should be something more than sitting at a bar.

Bad experience. Good food but bad experience. So far to be a one star michelin. The food is good but for a restaurant like that you are going for the whole experience, and the service was terrible! First of all we did a reservation at 9:30pm and there was possibility do do a reservation at 10pm, but we dis for 9:30pm and arrived this time, the waiter was pressuring us to do the order when we seated, explained very fast the menu and stayed at our side until decide, in a very bad pressure, the experience started like that, and then he said hurry up because the kitchen will close now, we couldn’t ask for the wine before ask the food. A lot of hurry, that turned the experience of a restaurant like that in a night mare. The service continued very bad. And the waiter drop two full glasses of wine, and not a cheap bordeaux wine, what they did? Nothing, just putted some towels on the table. Than I asked about the wine and they said they will check if they can send two glasses of other wine, not a good one of course. They even said apologies. Only one moment the waiter come with a smile and saying that we have all time we want... when he gave us the bill. The food was very good, but at that time my night was gone with the bad service and pressure by the waiter.

Combination of a 5-star restaurant with the seating of a sushi bar, was both exciting and added to ambience. We got to see our meal prepared start to finish, as the kitchen was center stage. Service by Joseph was on point and seamless. Food was incredible, we had the la langoustines, la burger, la daikon and finished a perfectly prepared Dover Sole. The sole was expertly deboned in front of us. We finished with a mango dessert which was fantastic. I would recommend reservations at the bar, you will not be disappointed.

Had to send my dinner back. The atmosphere was very pretentious and unfriendly. Might have been a bad night but we will not go back to try again.

This is our 3rd time at L’Atelier and my least favorite menu. The food is always impressive looking but it wasn’t as good as it normally is. Hopefully they step it back up.

The food was outstanding! We did the tasting menu with a couple add-ons and everything was other-worldly good. My only knock on value is spending three times more than the most expensive meal I have had previously and I believe that is a bit extreme. However, for once in a lifetime good you may find it good for you.

Wanted to eat here the last time I was in Las Vegas, but couldn't get a reservation. Made sure to book well in advance this time, and it was definitely worth the wait! This is the cheaper of his two at the MGM, but it isn't cheap by any means, so be prepared to drop some cash, especially if you're perusing the wine list. I had the seasonal tasting menu (9 courses plus bread over about two hours) and a glass of champagne and my bill with tip came to about $315. Everything was amazing and the service was impeccable, so I consider it worth the money, but you could very easily double or triple that total per person. The restaurant is mostly bar seating that overlooks the open kitchen, so I wouldn't want to go with more than two people. Three gets had to talk sitting at a bar, and four would get seated at one of the few tables, which don't overlook the kitchen. To me that's a major feature of the restaurant, so I would consider it a drawback. All in all, a wonderful experience I can't wait to repeat!

Within a few courses into the tasting menu we were surprised they were a Michelin Star rated restaurant. Then we realized they were from 2008 and 2009 and it was clear for the reason why the lost them!!! The courses made no sense in their progression, foie gras was carelessly and over used, and with an unthoughtful wine pairing . The worst part of the experience was the staff reactions to this. Our attitudes quickly changed by the 3rd or 4th course. At that point they would quickly drop our plates down and tell us about them. Not once were we ask how the food was or how we were enjoying everything! This was my husbands dinner for his 30th birthday and it was a total bust! I felt almost scammed how they advertise they are a Michelin Star restaurant. Learned my lesson to now check if they still hold them!

Had the foie gras stuffed quail and a bottle of 2012 burgundy. The food was one of a kind. I’ve never had anything quite like it. The service was exceptional. The wine list world class. There are scores of new things to try on the menu, which they change on a monthly basis. My wife had the pork iberique, which I was able to sneak a bite of. Cooked perfectly. I nearly ordered one for myself. This restaurant (and others like it) are the reason we came to Las Vegas.

Not what it used to. Service was mediocre at best, the menu hasn’t changed much in the last few years. The food was just ok this time, for the price you expect flawless service and amazing food from start to finish and this time this wasn’t the case. I think we will skip on our next visit.

Some wonderful dishes but some were absolutely shameful for a restaurant of this quality.
Sriracha mayo with the salmon? At Joël Robuchon?!
I expect (and enjoy) it on a burger but c’mon. I know that it’s Vegas but the management of this place should give their head a shake. The attention to detail was laughable. Plates were greasy and covered in fingerprints and the restaurant is in dire need of some new plates and cutlery. You can tell that they know Michelin isn’t inspecting anymore and just simply don’t care about guest satisfaction.
Our server was ridiculous. At one time when we were conversing with him, another server came and whispered something in his ear and he immediately walked away from us (in mid sentence!!!). We spent almost $500 and felt neglected and under appreciated.
I was excited to try L’atelier but left underwhelmed and unimpressed. M. Robuchon, I don’t know how a chef of your stature associates your name with this level of dining.
