L'Atelier Joel Robuchon - MGM Grand
Food was definitely not worth it; ambience was awful . We spent $500 to smell smoke from casino; why would a Michelin Star have that kind of ambience ; will never come back
Excellent food and service as always!
As always great service and fantastic food. Thanks
Overall experience was cold in regard to hospitality of staff, additionally the execution of most dishes was off.
- Sommelier was warm and made good suggestions
- Service crew was cold, I made conversation; they offered brief responses and made it seem like they were too polished to be warm and have a genuine conversation
- Food was below expectations compared to my prior experience. Dishes that were supposed to be hot were served lukewarm. The foie gras was served to chilled in an spreadable on the Cristini’s provided, as an example.
The overall experience was one that I would not like to repeat as it relates to the value. I am a big fan of Joel, however I felt his kitchen brigade and service crew missed the mark during this experience.
The presentation was only the precursors the taste. My first Michelin experience, definitely worth the expense. I only wish we had shared more dishes so we could have sampled dessert.
Absolutely exquisite meal from beginning to end. I hardly ever leave reviews but this meal was e
Simply the best. Great service, great food, great wine. The sommelier was only 2 weeks on the job and hit it out of the park.
We had a great cross section view from the bar to watch all the action. Servers heads are always on a swivel to address your needs. Food is top notch as expected. Chef doesn’t let anything slide, everything is perfect before it goes out. It was like watching a fine timepiece in action.
Best meal of our trip!
The meal was perfect down to every detail! The service was amazing and we will be back
Best meal in Vegas! I will be back again soon. The white truffle pasta was amazing.
What a joy and experience !!!
Amazing dinner as always.
It was an excellent meal adventure
The food is amazing. Watching the preparation is inspiring and the service is excellent. My only complaint was that the mashed potato (which we have had previously and loved) were not as hot as they should have been. Previously they were served in a cast iron pot that maybe retained the heat better than the ceramic--our waiter offered to get us hot ones but at that point we were pretty full. Dessert was fabulous!
We come to Vegas annually and this is the third year in a row that we dined here. Every time was excellent. We have always done the tasting menu. We will definitely return again!
Just a girls night out, and it was amazing. Our servers were very interactive, fun and entertaining. For a fine dining atmosphere, it’s not stuffy and it’s very approachable. Whatever you do, get the mashed potatoes.
Excellent service as expected! Everything we ordered were cooked to perfection. Foie gras was very good! 2 👍🏻
Excellent food and service but very costly
Wine and food very expensive
First time in about four years. Spectacular as always, everything is perfect, from the the wine pairings, to the expert knowledge on all things foodie staff, to the impeccable dishes to the brilliant design of the restaurant. Likely my favorite restaurant on earth.
Incredible. Every course a painting.
Outstanding! Really enjoyed the experience. Group of 4
Wonderful dining experience. Very accommodating for two celiac dinners and teenagers. Beautiful food and restaurant. The sole and foie gras was especially outstanding.
Second visit in a few days. I will say it again, a must visit for anyone who appreciates what some would consider fine dining. I call it a great experience with amazing food and service.
For anyone who appreciate great food with attentive service. Can’t wait to be back.
Awesome start to finish
Vegas has a lot of high end places to eat, but this is the only one I’ve been to twice. I went once for a more modest pre-theater menu before and this time I splurged on the full tasting menu. It’s not cheap but it was worth it. Total with 1 drink was about 320 including tax and tip per person. This got you about 9 wonderful courses that were somehow both substantial but not too filling. You get a taste of the molecular gastronomy (mostly in the form of foams) background but without anything that would scare the average diner. Everything has a rich umami flavor from mushrooms and fois gras but not so much that you couldn’t eat everything on your plate. Which I of course did.
They also serve the worlds best mashed potatoes. Once you have it, you’ll understand what the fuss is about on these spuds.
We really enjoyed our dinner. This was an amazing foodie experience of complex flavors combined in the most intriguing ways. We has 9 courses over a two hour period of time. Each were amazing and offered surprises within each taste we took The presentation of each dish was carefully planned and our host guided us through a wonderful evening of great good, great mixed drinks and world class wine. A bit pricey but I still recommend the restaurant highly.
The food was very creative and delicious.
Top 3 dining experience of life. Great service and good is unbeatable. RIP Mr. Robuchon.
This was our fourth visit . It had been a while since our last. Celebrating anniversary !
Just an outstanding experience. Not too fussy but flawless delicious food with perfect attention by the staff (esp Jared.) With all of the options in Vegas, this is not to be missed.
It was wonderful. We ordered dessert just to prolong the experience. Even without any drinks, it was our most expensive meal ever but I would go back anytime. (Except with my children.) I ate the most beautiful "Faberge" egg. It tasted good but not as good as the other two dishes I had there. However, I would order it again because it was so beautiful. I saw the chef making it and I think it took 10 minutes to decorate the plate. We sat at the counter which was a good experience but at little uncomfortable because of shortness and age.
My husband and I come here every time we come to Vegas! It’s our go to and one of our favorite restaurants in the country!
World class experience is the bare minimum expectation with this type of restaurant, and it delivered above and beyond in all aspects. Phenomenal food unlike I've ever had from exotic to traditional. This was one of the best meals in my lifetime. Service was outstanding as expected. The atmosphere was great for the location, it is expected to be a bit on the noisy side, but that didn't detract from the overall experience.
Unbelievable tasting menu experience! Highly recommend the tasting menu and the premium wine pairing. So worth it. Great atmosphere to be able to watch the kitchen and the staff was amazing and super attentive and really into what they were doing.
The only negative is the overly complicated menu
Beautiful flavorful and composed food. Warm knowledgeable and well-paced service. Viewing the full kitchen and craftsmanship of the culinary team was delightful.
A lovely overall experience that shouldn’t be missed!
