One of the best meals that we have had in a long time. The food was fantastic. In addition, the staff was very courteous and professional. We had a time constraint and was served and enjoyed meal well within the time that we had to spend. Would strongly recommend to others.

We always enjoy dining at La Salle Grill although we wish there were just a couple more vegan options and more creativity in vegan cooking. When we go out, we often choose other restaurants because they offer more vegan options. But LaSalle Grill is an old favorite and will please omnivores as we were years ago!

It was my husband's birthday and they made it a night to remember with my out of town in-laws. They had menus that had Happy Birthday written on them, and a beautiful handwritten card for him sitting on the table when we got there. The waitress was very good and knew the menu very well. The food was excellent, especially the appetizers, but everything was melt in your mouth and well prepared. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back!

Terrible service, average food at best. They had trouble with everything about our order. Starting with the drinks, to not replacing silverware after the apps and salad. My salad came out on a warm plate.... had the duck breast. Actually decent. Other than that, all pretty bad. Even our chairs were uncomfortable.

We had Stacy as our waitress. She was very good at describing the items on the menu. She was passionate about the food. All the staff were attentive to us. She was also helpful on giving us recommendations for things to do in the area. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet. We would return here.

Food, drinks and service were all great. No issues!

The food was quite good, but the best part of my dining experience was the service. I was in the Southbend area on business and was dining alone, The staff, most especially my server, Cindy, was quite solicitous and attentive, in a good way (she would stop by to engage me in a brief conversation so that I didn't feel quite so alone). The restaurant started me with a lovely dish of deer (which I don't usually eat) that was very tender with apple cider grits (which I also don't usually like) that was quite good. Cindy also offered to order a "half salad" which was much appreciated since I was by myself and the half caesar was very favorable and fresh tasting. I thought the pan seared Branzino was a bit over cooked, but the lentils that accompanied it were perfect. The ambience at the LaSalle Grill is beautiful; it felt as if you were in a well appointed,friendly club (but not stuffy). This is a high-end restaurant and if you have any reason to be in Southbend, or live nearby, I would highly recommend the LaSalle Grill as a special occasion place to have a very fine dining experience.

Our first visit, we will very likely be back soon! The food was delicious, the setting was very enjoyable but the best part was the service we received from our young and very attentive waitress! She went above and beyond by monitoring the time for us so we didn’t miss our show. Very impressive experience!!

The two meals I've eaten at LaSalle Grill are hands down two of the best meals I have ever eaten.

It’s too loud. Sound proof the place. The jambalaya wasn’t spicy, like at all. Steak was good. Waitstaff was attentive. It’s pricey

We dine here every time when we are in South Bend visiting our kids. In 6 years, we’ve never had a bad meal.

We love going here! The food is always excellent and the service is outstanding. We never felt that we were rushed as we were catching up with friends. A great wine and cocktail selection too.

Was very disappointed in our business meal. Have been to the LaSalle Grill several times, and this was truly a disappointment. After being seated at our table we waited for over 20 minutes before we could get our drink order. Our food took over an hour. Our entire dinner was three hours long. Plus the steaks were below average.

Came here after friend said it was good.
Made reservation and was greeted at door by a friendly hostess.
Sat us right away.
Great wine selection at reasonable prices.
Waitress gave us a great run down on local offerings and a detailed descriptions of all items.
Ordered the rack of lamb and I’ve had lamb at a bunch of places and this was by far the best ever!
Other guests had grouper and steak and they was very happy with the choices.
Would recommend highly!!!!!!

Great streak! LaSalle has a “New York City” midtown restaurant feel. Perfect spot before attending a performance at Morris Performing Arts Center just a walk around corner.

The wine list is amazing! Service is great, too! The menu has a lot of choices and they will cook things the way you want them to, even if different than how it is described on the menu.

Made reservation for 3 for 6pm through open table . Walked in and was greeted immediately. They had hard time finding reservation. Place was empty. Server seemed new. Not very sure of herself. Wife ordered the filet med rare. Came out rare and without mushroom jus she had added as her topping. Sent it back to cook a little longer and get topping added. Came back still under cooked. My son's NY strip and my medallions were good. Not very pleased. Past visits were much better.

Absolutely first class. Everything we had was superb. Stacy, our waitress was attentive and very helpful.

I invited my new business clients to celebrate our business partnership. Their representatives have been in town on and off for about 3 weeks. They remarked that this was the best food of all the places they had dined in South Bend or Mishawaka. Cocktails, starters, entrees and desserts were superb.
I can think of only one criticism and it's the less than comfortable chairs for anyone like me that fights back issues or is recovering from any type of back surgery or rehab.

We will definitely bring our customers back again and again.

Good service and good food. The sommelier was especially nice. He went above and beyond for us when we decided we wanted to take a bottle with us. That was above and beyond.

LaSalle Grille one of only a couple fine restaurants in the northern Indiana area. Service, ambiance, quality of food are exceptional. Good wine list. Cocktails were only average. We had three appetizers, baked brie, gnocchi, pate. All very tasty. Salads were fresh. My rack of lamb was cooked perfectly, and the scallops were excellent. They are also willing to substitute some ingredients which, to me, is the sign of a really good eatery.

Had a caterpillar on my duck dinner tonight and the waitress did not comp my meal. While I didn't make a huge fuss about it, things happen and they made me a new plate. But the fact that we had to pay for a meal that had a bug in it is very disappointing to say the least.
