Excellent, as always. Delicious Portuguese dishes artfully presented. Very nice wine list with both local and Portuguese selections. The service was excellent. While it was loud, as most restaurants are, we were still able to have a conversation. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Sonoma.

My Mother took us here for lunch. It was almost an hour away. So very worth the drive!! The menu had many choices! The octopus was wonderful. The seafood stew has loads of ingredients,(just remember you hv to do the shelling! Can be messy!) The meat dish w pork and beef w black beans was very good. Fish of the day was a seabass. Very very good, however, a bit on the salty side for my taste. Have dessert!!!! All wonderful choices. The service was excellant!!!!!!

Birthday dinner with 4 friends, and La Salette rarely fails to impress.. If anything some of the old favs on the menu were better than the last time we were there. How can that be? Just good cooking and well trained staff. We all ordered a starter and entree and shared tastes. All thumbs up. Have ordered octopus many times, last nite's was the best ever! Server did excellent job of handling collector wine decanting and serving. This is the time of year to visit, no hordes of out of towners. Loved the evening, thank you Manuel, missed sharing a wine taste with you, your Staff did you extremely well.

Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was exquisite -- especially the Day Boat Scallops and the Wood Oven Roasted Octopus starters. The latter was the best I have ever tasted. The main dish Alcarta (slow roasted beef shortribs) was outstanding. We were too full to order dessert.

There were 4 of us for lunch. Celebrated our friends 50th anniversary. The food measured up to the event. Great food and great wine. Also, excellent service.

All our dishes were excellent served by an attentive professional staff. The Brazilian national dish Feijoada Completa was a delicious combination of meats & vegetables served in a cast iron skillet. A Unique menu well done!

Absolutely delicious! Reserved a table for a 30th birthday and the food was delicious service was incredible! We had Magie who was an absolute delight and The French Laudry wishes they could have a server so wonderful! Thank you!

We had a delicious dinner at LaSalette. Everything was perfect! The appetizers (Scallops and octopus) were inventive and flavorful. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Portuguese Fish Stew and whole Branzino were delicious and satisfying. The location is great, just a bit removed from the hustle of the square.

Portugal, a maratime nation, so stay with the seafood and you will be delighted by their food. Particularly: octopus, branzino, sardines and seafood stew. And take a break from the Wine Country and pair your dining with the terrific selection of Portuguese wines. This is a gem that I want to see stay in business for my return visit from Florida.

LaSalette is the hidden little gem in Sonoma Square that I never knew I needed. Truly the best meal I've had in Sonoma to date. The chorizo coated scallops are mind blowing. My partner and I could've easily eaten 3 orders to ourselves. The grilled branzino was one of the specials for the evening and man it did not disappoint. The service, ambiance and food was phenomenal. I can't wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic! Food was spectacular, the wine flights were a great deal, and our server was great. The pork and clams was the star of the show! The pork was beautifully made, the clams were tender, and the broth had a deep rich flavor. 10/10

Overall a lovely dining experience. The price was a bit inflated on the entree I had as it was a cod and potato casserole that wasn’t big enough to be an entree. Mostly a large appetizers size… delicious none the less. The Tasca Board starter was more substantial than the entree so I shared it with my husband. They were gracious and gave us champagne to toast our anniversary.

Food was lovely, we enjoyed everything we tasted. Service was excellent. It was our first time there and our server was helpful in explaining menu items and offering suggestions. Only complaint was that it was so loud it was hard to hear the person sitting next to me. That said, we will definitely go back.

Every dish was wonderful. We started with the scallop appetizer, then entrees of seafood stew and feijoada with a side of rice, ending with flan. The meat was melt-in- your- mouth tender, and the seafood stew had just the right amount of saffron. The rice was flavored with herbs (thyme?) - all delicious!

Fo those looking for an evening of wonderful food and unique wine pairing, this is the place. Went to taste some Portuguese cuisine and fell in love. Everything was wonderful, but my favorite was the Octopus and Salada Portuguesa, wow!
