This was the second time I went for brunch at Lasagna Restaurant, and it was just as amazing, if not better, than the first time. The staff is vibrant and friendly, and make great conversation. The food is delicious and arrives shortly after ordering. Our servers always took care our table and were gracious. Make a reservation, because it gets full really fast!

What a great experience! Our server, Michael, was the greatest. Will definitely be back!

This is a great idea but poorly executed at this location. The Caesar salad was some old chopped lettuce, a few c-grade croutons and - what seemed like - a jar of Hellman's. The lasagna included decent ingredients plus -what seemed like - a box of salt! We paid for it all and returned most of it. The waiter was barely there.

Food was good. I got the shrimp and scallops frittata which was just okay. Scallops were big in size but not prepared that great. Lack of taste and seasoning. The ambiance was great. We got a table outside and bottomless mimosas. The weather was amazing and sunny. Restaurant sits on the corner of 20th and 8th Avenue. Service is a little disappointing. Something fell from the doorway and hit my friend and no one apologized. They looked at her, smiled, and said “not your fault.” Rude. Other than that awful encounter, we really enjoyed our time.

We were disappointed in everything but the quality and tastiness of the food - the quantities are excessive but that is a personal choice and the descriptions sometimes incomplete so please check with your wait person (that is if you can find one and they don't complain back to you - there is no extra charge for attitude).

As noted - the food is tasty and many will be able to work around the rest - for others there are too many choices in the hood to be bothered

nice place. Food is good.service could be better. Had to ask a waiters several times for basic condiments like red pepper.. waiters were nive but never introduced themselves, explained the meals , or upsell anything.
Coming from the food and beverage world, waders should at least introduce themselves, tell the patrons what the specials are and at least try to upsell them.
If they did that we would be willing to buy more food hence more Revenue and for the server
.a bigger tip

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Had lunch with a friend on Friday, 3/16. The food and service were excellent. Would definitely return. We were seated under a speaker near the window facing 20th St. and the volume was loud. The waiter was able to lower the volume but the next visit I will pay closer attention to where we are seated.

Third time here, first 2 were very good, this time was not. Brought a group of 11 here to have brunch for my fiancé’s 30th bday and the service was bad. Runner was visibly shaken, waiter was awful to him. People were given wrong meal, meals took forever to come out, and food came out very spread out. 2-3 people would get food then another 15-30 min would go by and another 2-3 people would get their food. To top it off 1 of the meals had a hair in it, which they did remake and comp. the whole experience was awful. I’d be hesitant to come back here and def would never bring a large group here ever again. Was embarrassed I made the suggestion to come here. This was our regular brunch spot when we come into the city, but we will be looking for a new place!

Service was slow and waiter kept forgetting drink order. Food did not come out together. One was held back from rest of order for about 5 min. Food was superb but a bit pricey.

My boyfriend and I stopped in Lasagna for brunch and loved it! The servers were friendly, prompt and entertaining. The place was packed but we were never without drinks - their bottomless drink deal with brunch is well worth it! Our food was also delicious and came out quickly. We we'll definitely be returning soon!

The food was delicious, the eggs came with the nova scotia salmon as they were supposed to, they did not substitute the cheaper lox for it. The noise level was high, but it was a young, happy crowd, which is fine. The only problem was that they did not know how to make a cup of tea, the water was tepid and the tea did not steep properly. Service however, is the strong point of this restaurant. The garlic bread was wonderful, I definitely would recommend it, and will return.

good choice before going to the Joyce Theatre. so enjoy the eggplant parmigiana and the manhattan truffle for dessert. prices have gone up a bit but portions are still generous. now if they would only honor my table request!

The set menu on Valentine's day was disappointing ((really wanted something else), and the dishes we got we're poorly prepared. The fish was so salty, and the mustard sauce was gluey...my husband's chicken dish was a clumsy slab of chicken breast with an unidentifiable sauce. The garlic stayed on my breath for 2 days.

It was quite loud when we were there as there was a lot of brunches taking place at the time. Food was tasty but paid nearly 10 dollars to add shrimp to my dish and got 4 of them. I did enjoy my meal but would go back on a quieter day and not a Saturday and wouldn't pay to add shrimp!

Went with some friends Friday evening. Hadn't been in about a year. Last time they had just raised the prices, and it looks like the raised them agin by about 20%. Still a decent value for the food that you get. We shared a carbonara for our appetizer, which was delicious. Our main courses (Parmigiana / Marsala / Saltimbocca were all very good with good sized portions.
I don't think I'll be going back on a weekend again, though. I have found I enjoy it much more during the week. The noise level Friday night was too much. Between the noise of the crowd and the awful background music, it was not a relaxing meal.
Next time I go I will make sure to go during the week..hopefully it will be a little less frenetic.

This is a great little restaurant in Chelsea. I saw this restaurant written up and have been wanting to try it. We had a group of 6 and weee seated immediately. This was Lasagnas 13th Anniversary and everyone in the party was given a glass of excellent Champagne to celebrate. Many different sections of Lasagna all made fresh. The waitress was excellent and was the food. The only issue was that the servers delivering our meals meals did not speak English well and came to the table and asked who ordered Lasanga. Condsidering we all did it was confusing as they did not know which plate was which. Fortunately our waitress did and was able to sort it out.
I’ll definetly go back.

We have been to Lasagna a few times. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. We ordered their specialty lasagna which was delicious. They also offer bottles of wines starting at $25. Overall a nice place to go for a meal. They automatically included a 20% tip for a party of two and when they brought out the receipt there was room for another tip, this we found odd to auto-tip for a party of two. This place is worth checking out especially for their lasagna dishes.

The food is delicious! I love coming to this restaurant for special occasions with my husband - lasagne is his favorite! The server was very nice, and patient with us as we made up our minds about what to order from the enticing choices on the menu. Like a lot of NYC restaurants, the space is relatively small, and be prepared to go to the lower level for the restrooms. Totally worth it for the amazing Italian dishes! I'll be back!
