Four Cheese Lasagna
gorgonzola, parmesan, ricotta, mozzarella
Great menu choices for food and beverages. Very helpful and accommodating wait staff. Adhered to all public health recommendations for a safe and comfortable dining experience.
Overpriced for the quality and portions. Lasagna is not high enough quality to justify prices of 28-39 dollars. Ordered the “lobster” lasagna for $39: very little lobster
To give an honest review, I will say that the service was average. It wasn’t friendly or welcoming like they didn’t care for a tip. It was ridiculous that a vegetarian dish (tagine ) was $28! Same as the lamb. I wouldn’t go back, though it didn’t taste terrible.
Went for dinner Friday 9/25/20 with 2 friends and all of us loved it! The service was solid even though they were busy. Ordered 2 bottles of Finca Rioja @$46ea, 1 cheese ravioli lamb bolognese @$25, 1 Chicken Paillard @21.00 and Grilled Eggplant Lasagna @$24. All 3 of our meals were very good! Wine list is a bit expensive and the 3 cheapest wines on the wine list they claimed to be out of them.
Very accommodating wait staff and excellent food!!
I’ve been dining at lasagna for years it is right on my block. Certainly has had its ups and downs. This is one of their worst down moments. They lost their liquor license but it seems like they also lost the chef. The food is worse than I ever remember. It’s too bad because I really want them to continue serving the community. It’s bad enough that COVID-19 is still around but these are added dings.
The seafood tasted unseasoned. Did not enjoy especially for the price.
Folks at the bar, including the bar tender, were so loud we couldn’t hear each other at our table on the other side of the room.
We especially appreciated our server. She was attentive to our guest’s special needs.
As always, LR was 1st rate. Food, service, ambience. It's why I keep going back.
They renovated. Means they painted the walls inside change the tables and redid the awning out front. Still the same menu however there is a few Mediterranean dishes. The food is still mediocre at best. Best item is the garlic bread they put on your table. The menu is disjointed. The pasta it’s so overcooked perfect for one year old. There a better go to restaurants to grab a meal in Chelsea. Skip it.
The noise was loud based on a single table of about 12 relatively intoxicated people. The staff did nothing to ask them to be a little quieter even after we made comments. We chose the restaurant based on it being a quiet space to catch up. I'm sure this incident was an exception. The food was just ok in my opinion. The temperature was inconsistent within the dish some spots hot, some cool, some ok. The flavors we're good but not exceptional but my friend enjoyed it more than I did.
Had a very nice time. Hospitality was great. Nice atmosphere and the food was delicious.
Menu changed no longer included veal masala or piccata
All high carb pasta and chicken nothing that I went for
Asked for Pinot noir and bar did it have
Happy hour only eating at bar not 20 ft away at table
Ordered shrimp scampi and was loaded with salt poor quality food
Positive waitress was nice
One of my regulars in NY but no longer
Only a few couples in restaurant and now I know why
With the changes this place will be out of business within the year for sure I won’t go again
since we were last here the menu has changed a bit and I miss one of my favorites, eggplant parmigiana which is no longer there. I tried the moussaka which is correctly and nicely made with ground lamb but I was a bit disappointed with it and won't order it again. the service was also lackluster and noticed what appeared to be only one waiter for the entire floor which is unfair to him and to us. also it took a bit of time to get our lovely anniversary special sorted out which was not pleasant.
Beste Lasagne!!! Ich besuche das Restaurant bei jeder NY Reise.
New Year’s Eve
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. I enjoy going there before the theatre.
This is a great neighborhood spot & the have great Italian food and I love the Mediterranean menu selections.
Wonderful. Good food and service in a lovely setting. Super friendly staff!
We've been to Lasagna several times and were disappointed this time.
Food delicious as always. Large portions. Delicious sauce. Great bread. Always a great meal here.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving experience we enjoyed a. Perfect price fixed menu
The waitress is an all star
Great food, great service, great martini!!
What’s not to like?
Food was great and so was the service ! I would recommend and would definitely go again when in the area. I had the tomato basil risotto and the others in my party had different lasagnas. All the food was very good !
We both had their touted Lasagna, two different versions. They were very bland, no taste. Seemed expensive for boring pasta. We probably will try a different italian restaurant in future in that area.
Attractive restaurant though and service was good.
Host was welcoming and attentive.Food excellent highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood
Overall, delicious food and really nice staff. We showed up 20 minutes late to our reservation and were sad to find that they had crossed us off their list (we had called ahead to warn them, but apparently the message hadn't been passed to the hostess). Even though they were crowded, they cleared a table for us and were able to seat us rather quickly. We appreciated that accommodation. The waitress Mona was really nice and attentive. The food was good, too. Our one critique was that the "four cheese" lasagna had a really really strong-tasting cheese in it - either gorgonzola or bleu cheese, which we felt was an odd choice for lasagna. We should have asked exactly which "four" cheeses were included, but nobody thought it would have such an odd choice. It sorta ruined the lasagna for us. The other dishes we got (veal lasagna, gnocchi pesto, and chicken palliard) were all really good. We would definitely return - we just will avoid the four cheese option in the future!
My girlfriend and I love traveling into Manhattan and getting brunch at this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is beyond amazing and what keeps us coming back!
you can imagine my utter surprise when my husband and I arrived at Lasagna after having confirmed our reservation to find the restaurant closed and a sign on the door saying that the kitchen was undergoing renovation. neither the restaurant nor Open Table alerted us to this which as you can imagine was shocking and frustrating. and we have been long-standing patrons of this establishment. I have written to the owner but so far there has been no reply. Open Table responded quickly and gave me extra points which helped a little to ease my concerns.
Lucky find, the menu looked good on Open Table, so we blindly made a reservation to meet friends.
From Omar at the door, to our waiter Andrew the experience was one to remember. The food was delicious.
We don’t make it Manhattan often for dinner, but we will defiantly be back.
Food is great (especially lasagna) but noise can be a bit much. Tables by the window are better. Service was pretty slow but restaurant was packed, so not a real problem.
Wonderful service. Our waitress was attentive, efficient, overall excellent.
We sat outside and enjoyed appetizers , wine, and Lasagna! Will definetely visit again!
I have been dining at this restaurant over the years and is has always been a great experience. The menu has a big selection and the food has always been consistently delicious. I staff is friendly and attentive and welcome you like a good friend. I recommend this restaurant highly.
It was great!! We had a good time! It was my friends bridal shower. The DJ was fantastic and the brunch was delicious and nicely priced.
The name of this restaurant is Lasagna Ristorante. When I logged in to my account to try to book the reservation, you didn't show it listed. When I went to the restaurant's website to book the reservation, it said I could do so via Open Table. Knowing that I couldn't, I submitted a question to Open Table. The first response I received had absolutely NOTHING to do with the issue. The 2nd really didn't address the issue either. Going through the restaurant's website that went through Open Table worked. There is definitely an issue with your system working with theirs but I couldn't seem to get anyone's attention to fix it.
The restaurant itself was wonderful, best salad I've ever had & the garlic bread was amazing. The meat lasagna was really good as was the Classic. If I visit NYC again, I would definitely go back. In addition to that, our server was fantastic.
The noise level was VERY loud, only because there were a group of 5 guys at the bar all standing, talking laughing & evidently thinking they were the only ones in the place. Thankfully for the later diners, it was about 7 when we arrived so hopefully they left by the time the late night crowd came in.
The food is always delicious. To me good Italian food consist of the right sauce. I always get the 4 cheese lasagna and I must say the cheese and sauce are soo delicious. It’s definitely a must try. Today I got the penne alla vodka with parmesan cheese and it taste so good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Lovely date night. A bit pricy but to be expected. We sat in an opening straddling indoor and outdoor seating; very nice. Service was excellent.
Still one of my favorite restaurants in the hood!
The perfect meal, music, and service! I really enjoyed all the food I ordered: goat cheese salad, fried mushrooms, and the lasagne. It’s a dream come true for any lasagne lover to have a wide variety of lasagne to choose from, including vegetarian options! I highly recommend this restaurant, but be aware not to walk in the neighborhood as there are many drug addicts lying on the street, which can be a turn off after such a delicious meal.
