Totalmente recomendado. La comida exquisita y el servicio muy bueno.
The service was horrible. We didn’t get helped when we walked in, they stared at us standing at the booth. When my fiancé went and asked was someone going to help us, the older gentleman with the white hair basically fanned him away with no answer. When we finally sat down the waitress gave us menus and when we were about to ask her a question she walked off to help another table and never came back. She was fixing their drinks and everything. Then while sitting there we noticed other people coming in and the older gentleman from earlier ran to greet the people and sat them immediately with menus. So instantly I felt uncomfortable because I felt racial profiled. We were the only blacks in the restaurant and the people that came in after us were white. We didn’t get to order or even get a drink of water. We just left because after watching the man help the next 3 groups after us with no problem and our waitress never coming back to the table, we figured the experience could only get worse before getting better. I will not recommend this establishment at all.
I booked restaurant reservation for 11:30am and arrived around 11:15 they were closed so i wasnt able to have try there food and it was my first time coming. They need to update their time with open table so people dont have to make blank trips when hungry.
Great restaurant.
I live in Milwaukee and drive all the way here if I want to impress a lady friend. Always worth the drive.
Always a great meal. Tried the shrimp this time and they were phenomenal! Music was the perfect background noise level and always creates a wonderful ambiance.
Great spot with amazing food. Fourth time here!
I would recommend Las Tablas. The food was excellent. It was season well (not to salty). The price was very affordable for a 4 course meal. However, the only thing which I would complain about was, I made the reservation on-line with OpenTable for 11:00 and when we got there the resturant was closed. It did not open til 11:30 but the meal was worth the wait.
Amazing! Delicious! The staff was helpful but not bothersome. The food was all excellent and kept us wanting more. The live music helped to celebrate our 28th anniversary! We hope to be back much more in the future!
Food was above average - steak was too salty IMO
I asked for tequila on the rocks. It took over 30 minutes for my drink to come fo the table. I first received a Tequila Sunrise. I then received a shot of tequila with a line wedge.
Slow service as the server was overwhelmed and the only one in the restaurant. Received wrong appetizer and wrong main course. Mojitos were atrocious, but she remade them and then were very good. It seems that the pandemic has significantly adversely affected them. We'll go there again as previous experiences were very good. Hopefully, just an off night. Everybody deserves a second chance.....
Great food great service appetizers very pricey they did not have any or very little seafood I understandable you’re in the Midwest
Food, service, parking and music was all great. Will be coming back for sure! Great flavorful Columbian Food!
Food here is always good that is never been the issue. The wait staff are very courteous and kind. The issue was the Friday I went for dinner the wait for our food was ridiculously long. I waited 40 minutes for simple drinks 1 bar drink. The appetizers took close to an hour and entrees came out almost exactly 1hr and fifteen minutes after being seated. The restaurant was full and I kept hearing the server say they were understaffed however making customers wait this long for food was unacceptable. We were not the only ones upset and waiting this long as tables around me experienced the same. A shame this had to happen as the food is really good but the management staff has to do a better job of having enough staff to accommodate the restaurant
Good food, good service and great place to take my husband for his birthday. I am a vegitarian and they have a great soup. The small was hardy enough for a full meal,
Also, they know how to make a martini!
This was charming and the service was amazing. Seriously mind blowing Lee wonderful. The food was delicious it was a great place to go and catch up with a friend highly recommend it. I will go back in a heartbeat
Do not get the dinner for two!!!! Was disappointing.
The food was amazing and service was great. Thank you to the wonderful staff.
The food was great, the service was slow. The music was lit!
Choose Las Tablas (Out of the endless options in Chicago) after seeing their Valentines Day add, promoting live Colombian music. The stage was in the main dining room and we were seated in the back room. I explained wanting to be seated by the stage and I was assured that they would also be performing in the back room. That didn’t happen.
Appetizers were okay at best. Drinks were watered down and full of sugar. Waiters was not very knowledgeable about the menu options and admitted it was her second night.
We ordered and waited about an hour in the very cold dining room. Looking around, I saw many patrons wearing their coats with hoods up. Then the waitress informed me that they were out of the steak most of us had ordered.
Complete disappointment... The only thing positive was when management did the right thing and did not charge us for the appetizers and round of drinks.
Still terrible experience and had to come up with plan B after ride sharing from the suburbs.
The live music arrived kind of late so we were unable to enjoy it. We were seated near the window when there were plenty of other tables open. It was very cold our food got cold right away.
This is my first tine coming to this place I koaho to the one on Lincoln now that Resturant is amazing but at this place it was ok don’t think I’ll go again stick wit there other restaurant
We had appetizers and they were delicious: Shrimp ceviche with plantain chips, Empanada - Empanada Combination Plate - Sampling of our beef, chicken & cheese empandas, Traditional cheese-corn bread with either shredded chicken in mushroom sauce or pulled beef in salsa criolla.
We met friends at Las Tablas on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was not crowded - perhaps eight to ten tables were seated with small groups. It appeared that there was only one server for the entire restaurant. The server tried her best, and I understand that it is difficult to maintain restaurant workers, but there were so many errors with our order that I cannot give more stars.
The food came out sporadically - my main came out while we were still eating the salad, two other mains came out after salads, and the fourth main came out at least 10 minutes after everyone else had their food. One order requested rice and beans instead of the potatoes and yucca, that substitution did not arrive. The one server was so busy, we had to literally get up and find her to get more condiments and drink refills.
The food that did come was tasty, but by the time everyone was served, most of the food was no longer hot.
Las Tablas has great steak, but needs to improve its staffing.
Went on a Saturday night during Restaurant Week. They had a great Price Fixe special going. Food was fabulous. They mixed up our empanada order but we all agreed that the ones we got were very tasty. On Saturday night, there's a live band - salsa. Band was very good, but a little loud depending on where you sat. But, when the band wasn't playing, the "background" music was even louder (dance club level) , so much so that it was difficult to have a conversation. I would definitely go back but perhaps earlier in the night or on a weeknight.
Great atmosphere!
Great and tasty food- we will continue to go back
Food was great. Excellent service. Cocktails are tasty as well
I love this place !
Wedding Anniversary. Excellent server-Diana
Best Colombian food in town! Skirt steak is delish... make sure you try it with the chimichurri.
So upon walking in I was not even asked if I had a reservation nor was I properly welcomed, there were 2-3 people on staff. Once seated, me yes we’re place on the table and there was about a 5 min wait till our waiter came to the table, we ordered two cocktails, a arepa with beef and cheese and a combination plate for two. Here’s where the experience takes a turn, once’s drinks where delivered to the table one Columbia’s Sazerc and a Mojito. The Sazerc proportions where off and the drink was over powered by armaretto a Colombian take on the classic, the mojito had rock like pieces of sugar in the drink, the beef filled Arepa was good the meat was well seasoned and tender the condiments provided were good and resemble authentic Colombians toppings, now once the appetizer was cleaned from the table there was quite a long wait before our main course was served in that time we were not asked for a second round nor was our table checked on for any order for additional drinks before the course and our waiter visited two tables a 4 top and a two top in our section, the dish was finally served and still we were not ask about beverages, the plate was great chicken seasoned well and cooked to a proper temperature, the steak was served as ordered, the yuca was a bit dry, the fried plantains good, the sweet plantain was good as well, my date enjoin the chorizo sausage and the pork ribs. Now we were never checked on I waited 10 min after we where both visibly done with our food I had to walk to the bar and request my check. All in all I will not be back this was my third time there and my prior experience was very similar. A $90 bill for quality food which frankly is slightly over priced for the cuts and very poor service I will not be back.
Food was good but service inconsistent. The waitress was basically alone on a Friday night and I think there was a bit of a language barrier.
Live music as well. I was unaware as we were originally supposed to go Thursday night.
The Colombian food, steaks, empanadas, arepas were very good.
I will go back, just not on a weekend.
Made reservations through open table a week ago. Got there no reservation. Set us by bar which was very uncomfortable. I kept telling the waiter that we were very uncomfortable and they did nothing to move us. The only solution was to sent us to the back room that is used for parties I guess. Very disappointed.
Service was friendly and fast. No steaks ordered but three of us had different chicken dishes, all excellent. My wife had a vegetarian dinner and she enjoyed it. We will be back.
Food was good. The service was excellent but the prices are too high
Great food. Service was not great, but there was only two people in the floor in a Monday night.
I used to love this restaurant. The food has since taken a decline. The service was subpar and at times rude. The restaurant was extremely hot. If this had been my first time there I would have never been back. I probably won’t despite the fact that in the past I had the exact opposite experience.
Had a group of 9 on a Sunday. Great food and drinks. Excellent service Long time neighborhood gem.
Great place!! Amazing food and atmosphere. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience. This place does not disappoint.
