Not great, wouldn’t recommend food choice not given how I asked for it like steak well overdone and a bunch of dance students lingering showing off their moves got really annoying, dancing but not really feeling the music. Not impressed won’t go back
Food was very good. One room is a sports bar, the other was quiet and peaceful.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and food! Fun night of delish enchiladas and margaritas
Really good and great service, would recommend! I got the steak tacos
Great Service !!
Great food, great service. Our waitress, Rebecca, was darling!
Nice restaurant, located nxt to Kingston Mines. Not sure why its so difficult getting separate checks. Would nevertheless return.
For the prices they charge, the value of the food and drink wasn't up to par. There was nothing wrong with the food or service, I just left thinking we spent a LOT of money on pretty standard Mexican fare. The patio is very nice.
Dave, Thank you for taking the time to review. I'm sorry that the value was not up to par. Email us at for more details on your visit. Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks- Carolina
We had a reservation for 7:30 and got there and waited until 7:50 to be sat even though the entire dining room but 3 tables were empty. Once we sat down and ordered we waited for 40 minutes and only received water, finally we got up and told the hostess we were leaving. She didn't seem to care.
Special occasion for 50th birthday. Service was very slow.
This has always been a favorite - platters of real Mexican flavors and an incredible mole sauce. The recent price increases though were a bit steep and the menu is now condensed. Great patio dining despite the abbreviated menu.
Sat outside with a large group, had a very nice evening!
Their outdoor space is incredible! I ordered the al pastor chimichangas but the waiter suggested I get the chicken instead. It was okay. I do wish I knew what their al pastor meat tastes like though. My mango margarita was on point!
Took forever to get seated with very few customers. Once seated we did not have a waiter approach us for at least 20 minutes, again with very few customers. We walked out without ordering. Won't go back.
Best alfresco Mexican dining in the city!!! Service is great and food is delicious plus very good margaritas . Small cabanas for group with beautiful lighting of a large mural painted on wall of building at end of the patio.
Our 1st time there from beginning to end amazing. The hostesses and waitress amazing the food so delicious.
We have been going to Las Fuentes for 30 years....it never disappoints. The food was delicious and the ambiance was great. And the owners took time out to stop by and chat with us. It’s our go to spot in the city for casual fun.
We always went Las Fuentes but the food had gone down hill!!! Beans were watery and they skimped on both the rice and beans. The steak tasted like it had been reheated in microwave as it was tubby! I’m so sad bc it was our go to place and it was a big birthday celebration. No one liked the food.
Great place...Very loud food was very average. Service was outstanding.
The service was very good— apart from the male hostess. He wasn’t very warm and would get somewhat hostile when anything about asking for the patio would be brought up.
Again other than that it was a great time!
I love love love the patio at Las Fuentas, but was really disappointed to see they have majorly updated their menu to be more limited and far more expensive. And I didn't feel like the quality of food went up to justify the price amount. For tacos to be $17 for 3 of them and they were not very good was a bummer. and $14 for guacamole that had some diced pineapple and jalapeno on top was aggressively expensive. I wish they would go back to the food they had before!
Very i accommodating. Chips were stale. Will probably not go back.
Very hectic on the weekend. Service can be very slow.
Still love las Fuentes and their patio but their menu has changed. And some of their pitchers are $60! Seems like a lot to me!
Made a reservation 4 days in advance and requested to be on the patio. No go for the patio due to long wait. Slow waitress, took my dates margarita away before it was finished, table was sticky, air conditioning was on but still uncomfortably warm.
Thank you for letting us know about your experience. I'm sorry that it was not up to par to our standards here at Las Fuentes. The weekends the patio is extremely popular and we try to accommodate our customers as best as we can. We do first, come first come serve on the patio. We would love to invite you back so you can enjoy the patio experience. Give us a call whenever you would like to come in and ask for any of the managers( Daniel, Gerardo, Carolina) so we can take care of you.
Food took over an hour to come and waitress messed up several things in our order without apologizing. Patio is great but be prepared for extremely long wait times on a weekend.
Limited menu and not enough waitstaff. Nice patio, good for large groups.
Bad waitress who kept responding to me over and over when I said the food was terrible, "Yes, how did you like the food". No one in her young life ever said anything except you are so great that she never heard or understood the word "terrible" The appetizers were the same size and plates as the mains. A soggy mass of beans, cheese, and overcooked poblanos with a piece of chocolate added to packaged mole. Used to be a fairly decent place years ago but not now. Too bad they are wasting a great pation with current food and menu management. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Any hole-in-wall taco place beats this dump hands down.
The patio, which had a lto of tables, is really nice.
Had 4th of July dinner on the patio, which they keep improving.
Great meal, great service. The best mole.
There was a wedding that got rained out so they had to come inside instead of the patio. But the wait wasn’t long and the food was great, as were the Margaritas.
Most important for any Mexican restaurant, the margaritas, they were spot on. The food and service were great also. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover applies here too.
The food used to be excellent. It appears that the kitchen has changed. The guacamole had no taste it was like eating an avocado with no seasoning. The main course lacked taste and seasoning. We have placed the restaurant on vacation.
Very vibrant scene; Al Fresco dining is great here
Our waiter was great but the kitchen was slow and it took 40 minutes for out food to be brought out on a random weeknight. Our waiter kept apologizing and offered an extra drink which we did not take. He also brought dessert on the house for my kids.
We went here with a small group of friends and were unfortunately disappointed. The restaurant did not feel clean and was rather run down, the space is excessively loud, and the food is nothing to write home about. They have a big outdoor patio and the drinks are strong, so if you're coming for that, this would still be a good place. We won't be coming back.
Went with a crew of my friends & we loved it here. The ambiance was awesome & the food was dope.
I used to pass by this place everyday and I finally decided to go in. I went in for lunch, around 3.30pm on a Monday..I even made a reservation just in case it was busy..I was surprised to walk in an be the only customer..I had to look around for someone to ask if they are even open. Finally someone asked me if I need help. When I said I was by myself the server was very surprised. It took a while to place an order..food was great but there was a gentleman in the restaurant that was singing and not that he had a nice voice, I would have enjoyed it if he did. It was pretty disturbing.. again food was great..service was a little slow..I am sure that at night time and over the weekends the place it booming. I might give it another chance when it’s warmer out so I can enjoy the patio.
Used to love this place but went for my birthday this past weekend and was extremely disappointed! We had 18 people and the bill was already over 700. We brought a cake and the waitress informed us if they cut it and served it to us it would be an extra 2.00 fee per person. We declined and said we would cut it ourselves. Then AFTER the bill came (which they refused to split), the waitress tried to claim that even though we cut and served our cake ourselves, using their plates was an additional 2.00 service fee and she was going to add that to the bill. We then asked for a manager and he was extremely rude to us. On top of that, no one came to sing, no free dessert or anything! We will take our service elsewhere next time.
Love this place!
