Las Canarias - Omni La Mansion

The attention to detail, the quality of service, the ambiance, and the dinner are par excelance.
We came for the calamari but were not disappointed by the Texas redfish ceviche and the garlicky Brussels sprouts, plus Rick’s recommended bebida. He knows what he’s talking about.
Fathers Day Brunch. Great food selection. Service was ok but it was busy. Loved the outdoor activities for Dads : outing game, beer samples with a take home glass and photo station.
Las Canarias was outstanding as always. We had the fois Gras, wedge salad and swordfish. They were all perfectly prepared and our server was incredibly attentive. Las Canarias is a must for us in San Antonio and it never fails to be a perfect meal.
Always and outstanding experience. It is why I choose Las Canarias when I am visiting San Antonio. Food is beyond unbelievable and the service is always A+++. The restaurant is always nice and peaceful and you can hold a low key conversation without having to yell. Very relaxing dinners.
I will keep coming back to Las Canarias on any visits back to San Antonio
Thank you Las Canarias, your a GEM!!!
Thought the buffet was very good. Some of the food was excellent, while some was ok. A couple of things were a bit bland, & the oysters didn't seem really fresh. (They were particularly bland & didn't taste like the sea.) Service was excellent. Only negative was that we thought it was $30/person, but turned out it was $45/person! Even though it includes 3 mimosas/person, my wife doesn't drink.
Not the same as before Omni ownership
selections at the breakfast buffet were about half of what they used to have
service was so slow on ordered food, it was ridiculous
For what you pay there, it should have been 5 star
Brahmin waited on us - excellent service and food. He is a dying breed of servers who know their product intimately and is invested in your enjoyment. Was a great way to wind down from a stressful week and transition into the weekend. We will return!
Food: sublime. Service: attentive. Still the BEST restaurant on the River Walk! Pricey, but WORTH IT!
Made it to La Canarias for dinner before a show at the majestic. Great staff, awesome food! Overall a great experience and a good time.
Nice place. Went for our anniversary and they gifted us a nice dessert. Very good! Will return!
The food was well prepared. My husband and I split the blackened rib eye .. medium rib with asparagus and proscuitto. I highly recomend that selection. For a starter we had the caprese salad with basil icecream. It was a unique and tasty salad. Our friends had the spicy pork tenderloin, which was awesome. There was not a morsel of food left over. The waitress recommended the warm sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely amazing so save room for dessert. The gin martini was also on point.
The food was wonderful and really good quality. We were just disappointed with our server outside who very unpleasant.
Our server Briham was AMAZING. Funny, charming, kind. Made our dinner that much better. Brought my wife a special dessert and champagne to celebrate her promotion. Thank you so much.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My wife asked for a recommendation from the server and she was very happy with the choice. We really enjoyed our visit.
We loved this restaurant. We ate almost all meals there because we knew we would be totally satisfied with the service and food quality.
Inventive theatre pre-fixe with dueling menu courses for the musical Hamilton - My wife and I dine here several times a year - good food/ good wine pairing - easy to talk - romantic setting. I gave the food a 4 only because I have experienced a more superlative taste experience previously here - usually I would give it a 5
We were very happy with this restaurant. The service was outstanding and the menu was unique. And the food was excellent. We will be back!
Nice creative alternative to the mass produced Riverwalk food
Outstanding service and delicious food! Will definitely be back on our next visit to San Antonio.
Great service and food!!! Love sitting outside on the Riverwalk
Special Occasion on Riverwalk. Dinner included outside seats for the fiesta parade. Everything was wonderful!
We had a wonderful time and the food was exquisite. Will visit again upon next visit to San Antonio
The day we went, I believe it was Good Friday we anticipated a great lunch as my husband and I have been before and we loved it. This time, not so much! It wasn’t the servers fault as to why there seemed to be a skeleton crew (no bartender) the bottle of white wine we ordered was hot and we waited awhile to take our order but it was clearly because the server was busy trying to tend to all the patrons. The food was good but it didn’t make up for the fact that during a beautiful Friday lunch (holiday) on the river walk with such gorgeous views as Las Canarias has that there would only be one server for the whole patio and no bartender. Do better because you are better.
Lovely setting along the Riverwalk. Busy with seemingly only one waiter. I thought the food was too salty. My redfish dish was cooked beautifully with crispy skin but delicate moist meat but the “sauce” was too salty.
Drinks tasted funny.. allowed a singer to come a solisit for tips and was a little aggressive , no bread left? Dirty silverware ..disappointed
Had a reservation for 8 at 1pm this past Sunday for my wife's birthday. Upon arrival to the buffet the first thing I noticed was there was no bread, pastries, jelly, spreads, bagels, not even a single toaster. Plenty of smoked salmon but no bagels. I then asked the management where the "carbs" bread was and he explained they could bring some to the table. By the time the bagels were delivered they were cold and most of us had already finished our first plate. They offer a champagne/mimosa that is included with the brunch but our entire table had to continously ask for a refill. The bottles of Champagne are $3.50 and for a $400.00 bill I expected the buffet to be stocked and for glasses to be filled without having to ask every single time. Seemed like the staff was soooo ready for this Sunday brunch to end. They did bring "3" chocolate covered strawberries on a plate that said "Happy Birthday!" They must have been running short on thier arrangements of fruit because the fruit selection was non existent. They didn't have apples, oranges, cantaloupe, or even bananas. Wish I would have taken a picture of how pathetic the fruit section was. There was also no oatmeal. Guess you have to order that from the back and wait for them to cook it vs. It just being ready at a BRUNCH "BUFFET!" WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING THIS TO OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. Its not about the price its fully about the experience and false advertisements and expectations.
Sunday brunch was amazing! Omelet station, prime rib, shrimp and oysters, fruits, salads and much much more! The dessert station was fabulous so save room to try several. Champagne and Mimosa’s to accompany the delicious food. Great deal
Wonderful hostess. Loved the food. Outstanding quality. They do cram in the covers inside and out. The lighting outside can be troublesome on some tables. Either too bright or not. Great to soak up the experience on the riverwalk. You really need to book a couple of data or more in advance
Service was great. I ordered a blackened ribeye, while the flavor was good, the piece of meet was not worth the $49 price tag. Definitely not prime beef.
The atmosphere was quiet, the food was good and the service was great. The scrambled eggs in the self serve containers could stand to be hotter as the eggs were barely warm. Very good variety of food options to choose from but it was a little pricey for breakfast.
Price is definitely too high for the quality and quantity of food. Very nice location and atmosphere, although the hostess could have been more accommodating to a request for a window table. She claimed they were all booked but they stayed empty until I left. She was very nice about it though and actually commented when I left that she should have seated me as I asked. All in all a pleasant dinner, but I am unlikely to ever go there again.
Had an excellent meal - with great service. Plan to go again.
The food was amazing. Portions were excellent, not too big. Service was not rushed but very prompt. A great experience
Brahim was a great waiter. Great service and attentiveness.
Four brother from four states met in San Antonio for a reunion weekend. Had brunch here. OUTSTANDING! Not a bad thing on the buffet. I ate mostly boiled shrimp and raw oysters and they were amazing. Great service. Unbelievably good value in a beautiful setting. We’re coming back for sure. We’ll probably stay at the hotel next time.
Always enjoy dining here when in San Antonio. Nice inside table by the window with a view of the Riverwalk. I had the pork and they were very accommodating to change the sides for me. My husband enjoyed his redfish. Great service, food, and view!
It came highly rated online but the two times I dined there on the same day were underwhelming. Lunch service was very slow and portions seemed a bit skimpy. Dinner was ok, had to send a steak back as was overcooked and the manhattan was very average.
Anyway the Riverwalk needs better dining and this should be one of them.. sorry but not there yet.
Amazing brunch! Best brunch buffet in San Antonio! Little pricey but absolutely delicious!
