This was an exceptional experience. The view is spectacular. Matt, our waiter, was so nice and helpful with our young children. I highly recommend Las Brisas.
We were visiting from Texas and always make Las Brisas one of our destinations. They truly have one of the best General Manager's that we have ever met. Vince is an exceptional person and always makes you feel like you are a regular, even when you just visit a few times a year! Food was phenomenal, view is exceptional and the remodel makes the restaurant even more Beautiful!
The meal and service were outstanding as usual. The bar service was absolutely terrible. We had drinks in the patio area before dinner ( Cadillac Margaritas) that except for the salt on the rim could have passed for LEMONADE! At $16 a drink you would think that we could taste alcohol . I think that they should tell patrons that they are serving "Shirley Temple" margaritas.
No designated handicapped parking. Is this even ADA compliant? I was told to look for an open space along Cliff Drive. Had to go around the block three times to even find an open parking space, and that was two blocks away from the restaurant. They do have a parking lot and they charge $10 to park there with no validation. Know this before going there. Also, when I told one manager this, he became hostile.
Impressed enjoyable. Friends new to restaurant were impressed.
The ahi tacos were amazing! It was a little too loud in there. We’d go back.
A little disappointed on the breakfast brunch buffet. Their menu had change since the last time eating there about a year ago. There seem to be less food selection (no poached eggs which was available on their old menu), less meat varieties and other tasty items they had on their old menu. Best part was the freshly cooked omelette of your choice prepared in front of you. Service, atmosphere and ambiance are excellent as usual. However, the food selection was not worth $22 for the brunch buffet. Disappointed they changed their brunch menu.
Vince! Great Service. Maria! Awesome service. Food! Delicious!! First timer. I was there to celebrate my birthday and was totally wowed!!!! Great ambiance. CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! 5 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I'll be back. I'll definitely recommend Las Brisas! Thanks again Vince and Maria. Besos💋💋
Always good. Best brunch in town. A bit pricey, but well worth the price. Great views
And beautiful location
Special Sunday brunch the day after my sons wedding
The food was good, but the place is very noisy. The service was attentive, but clearly short staffed, which made us have to wait to have water served during the meal. But the location is great and we had a good time.
This was not my first visit to Las Brisas. I love the decor and over all vibe of the place. My only dissappointment was the Chicken Mole was terrible! Chicken was so tough could not get a steak knife thru it! The sauce was not any type of Mole I had ever had it was yellow and very sallty. The coconut flan was great thou! Very expenisve place but if you know that going in won’t get sticker shock.
Everything about Las Brisas was perfect! Friendly and helpful waitstaff, superb food, idyllic location. We’ll be back!
We had a nice evening meal while we are finishing my daughter’s Spring Break.
You absolutely cannot beat this view. Las Brisas has been a favorite for years - whether enjoying the patio or the charming dining room. Food and service will not disappoint. Great spot.
Las Brisas never disappoints. Excellent ocean views and great food.
Great fresh food
Very disappointed in the blue lighting scheme in the evening. Very cheesy looking. Noise level kind of high but not impossible. Waiter's description of dishes enthusiastic but inaccurate. E.g., lobster carbonara is not carbonara. I lived in Italy and know what carbonara is.
It was our anniversary and this was noted when making the reservation through Open Table. They did not acknowledge it at all. Very disappointing. Also, very expensive!! Nice view from a window table.
Our favorite restaurant in Laguna Beach. Food and service are always excellent and the view is fabulous. PLUS they have the best dessert, ever!
Good restaurant, new menu. Excellent corn muffins and rolls. View outstanding. Server rushed us by trying to serve entree when we were still working on our salads--had to have him take the entree back to the kitchen to keep it warm.
Always a favorite restaurant. Need to advertise more organic and local farm fresh veggies.
Thank you for the attentive and friendly service from Ricardo! He made our brunch so relaxing and enjoyable. All the staff was so welcoming.
Perfect weather and an ocean view with my 84 year old Dad visiting from NY! Always a great dining experience at Las Brisas!
It is always a pleasure to go to Las Brisas! My husband and I love it and the food is always exceptional! The remodel is just gorgeous and the views are amazing!
Celebrating two of our close friends birthdays was the occasion to dine at Las Brisas. The food, ambience and service was spectacular.
Great spot, great food, very attentive servers
Great food and margaritas!
Solid spot. Killer view and the patio is solid. Inside is good but lacks the personality. Great drinks and incredible food!!!
Very nice lunch. Food was well seasoned, good variety of small bites, and efficient / friendly service. Will definitely return!
Most memorable restaurant that I know of in California. Georgeous.
Jay’s the best
Brunch at Las Brisas was amazing! The first course is an attractive array of fresh fruits. Second choice is soup or salad. The featured soup was a tomato basil seafood bisque. Wonderful. Third choice is a selection of entrees including a fresh seafood salad, New York Benedict with filet of beef, crab stuffed trout and many more options.
This is a pricey brunch, but worth it for a special treat. Marvelous service as well.
We enjoyed the food and service tremendously. It was my birthday and our party of 7 had
a great time. Thank you, Las Brisas. Barbara Shaw
The only problem was the quality of the sirloin steak on the Eggs Benedict was poor. It was very tough and hard to cut. For the price, should be higher quality.
Loved the scenery great sunset
Waiting half an hour for a drink is unacceptable considering not too many tables were occupied.
This was my first visit to Las Brisas but will not be my last! Amazing breakfast buffet, outstanding views and good service. Already planning our next visit.
The experience was good overall but we were not happy that our party of 11 after sitting down had to endure one of their staff running the vacuum on the carpets right next to our table. Why was that not done before opening the restaurant? Especially when paying approximately $30 per person for a brunch? We also had to ask for drinking water at the table more than once. Once we brought these things to the attention of the manger, things improved a lot and the rest of the experience was very good.
We’ve enjoyed eating here over the years but this time the menu was limited and the food was horrible. I was stunned since our bill for 4 entrees and no drinks was almost $100. No one liked their food. My husband got a stomach ache afterwards and he only ate half of his sandwich. I ordered a trio of lunch appetizers and they were so tiny it was like 3 small bites. Ridiculous. I had planned to order enchiladas but the ones on the menu were heavy beef rib. All in all well never go back. The view if the best anywhere. And the food used to be delicious. Not sure what has happened. Maybe a new chef?
