Waiter was very profesional

The lobster was good but honestly have had better

We have not been back for about a year. The last time we were there, it was a very disappointing experience. This time the food and service were wonderful. The only part of this experience that we did not enjoy was the noise level The entertainment from the bar interrupted our conversation a few times. I don't know if anything can be done about this.........but, otherwise a great experience.

We love Larsen’s! From our server Matt, to the manager Chris, the service is always excellent. The steak is the best in the SCV. With amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere, we highly recommend for date night or a special occasion!

Valentine's Day was a total miss at the Valencia location. Had reservations for 9pm, did not get seated until 9:35pm only after asking the host what was taking so long. When finally seated, we asked our waitress for her recommendation between a choice of two white wines we had chosen from the wine list. Her response, "I don't really drink white wine". A restaurant of this caliber should at the very least train their waitstaff to make suggestions on the restaurant's selections. Valentine's Day is tough on all restaurants. What separates top tier restaurants from the rest is their ability to provide exceptional service regardless of business levels. Larsen's Steakhouse in Valencia sadly did not meet expectations.

Problem: I requested a reservation change, which was accepted; but no one got back to me to tell me so my additional guest were left out.
Good: Very busy and crowded night, but the staff handled everything professionally and courteously.
Bad: I don’t do steak often but I tried the $72 filet mignon (bone-in) which was tasty and juicy, but not tender and fat free enough for the price...and there was more bone than anything else. Disappointed overall, with my meal.

When I checked in with my 6 o'clock reservation at 5:55, I was told they were overbooked and it would be 35-45 minutes wait. I turned to my wife and said "Let's find someplace else". My wife told me to cool down and wait so I did. We were eventually seated at a table crammed in against the wall. The waiter was fine. The food was satisfactory. They comped us a dessert. I will never go there on Valentine's Day again!

The food was amazing as usual. You could eat somewhere else for 20 dollars a person less but, it is not worth it. The staff and atmosphere was awesome as always and I appreciate that you never feel rushed by anyone so, they can fill your seats.

My husband & I decided to have dinner at Larsen’s (Valencia) on Valentine’s Day . Our reservation was at 4:30 pm. We were seated on a small round table with 2 chairs on each side. We were so very closed to the other chairs & tables behind us. We were so uncomfortable & requested to move to another empty table ( we pointed to the table against the wall) since more than half of the dinning tables were still empty. But according to the receptionist, all the tables are reserved & he cannot make a change. Later on, one of the waiter let a couple behind us moved to that table against the wall. They were given a consideration but we’re not, maybe because we’re not a Caucasian race.
Regarding the food, considering the taste, we will use the scale 1 to 10: 1=not good, 10=very good. Steamed Clams & Mussels=6 Lobster Bisque Soup=8 Wet Aged Angus Beef Filet Mignon=7 Sautéed Mushrooms=2 Lobster Tail=8 Steamed Rice=2 Miso Seabass=5 Creme brûlée=8
The ratio of the price versus the portion of the food: It’s really high-priced.
We were also charged $ 15.00 for a cup of steamed rice. The service was fine but not exceptional.
Even though we’re not impressed, my husband still gave 20% tip because it’s a ❤️ day.

Our Valentine’s Day dinner date was great !!! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I asked one of the staff to assist me in surprising my girlfriend with some flowers. I handed her the two dozen roses to hand to my girlfriend at our table. She went the extra mile and put them in a metal holder on a stand. I truly appreciate the extra effort by your staff.

Chateaubriand and cream corn were perfect, bleu cheese wedge salad (divided and chopped by the kitchen) was not quite as expected but was tasty. Excellent wine list.

Really appreciate the attentiveness with your servers and waiters, however, I was hosting a very significant client for a business dinner and had a hard time overcoming the tremendous amount of interruptions. Really enjoyed the food, very impressive.

Server and manager were great. The cook, not so much - at a high-end steakhouse, they should know how to cook your steak. Three of us had steaks that were not cooked even close to what we wanted-two of ours were close to raw, even after they redid it once. By the second time it was cooked I had eaten the sides and wasn’t even hungry for the steak. They did comp us for the two steaks which was great tho.

We didn’t like the bread. The fish I ordered was thin and over cooked with a mushy texture. My husband loved his grass fed filet.

We went here for husbands birthday again. It had been 2 years since we first tried Larsen's. The first time the only things we could state needed improvement with was the lighting in the restaurant was so dark we had to use our phones to read menu and the side dishes portions were small. After revisiting the restaurant this past weekend, both of those issues have been remedied. It was delicious again, great wine list, and as before, the service was stellar.

The atmosphere was great, the service was spot on. The food was good. The desserts and sides were amazing, the steak was about the same as you can get at outback only $30 more expensive. The chef under cook's the steaks, I asked for medium and I got blue and the manager knows because he was at the table right after they brought it, asking (before I even cut into it) "should we give it some more fire sir"? But as one time experience or nice date, it was good.

Let's face it. Larsen's is pricey. But it's worth it if you want to spend on a GREAT meal. Our first time visiting was in August and they helped me set the stage to propose to my fiance, who was completely not expecting it. Thanks to the management team and to Kevin, our server. Fast forward 4 months and we celebrated out actual wedding day there for dinner. Kevin was our server again.

OK, specifics: the Cajun Shrimp is the BEST appetizer. The sauce with bread dipped into it! MMM. We had the steal special in August, and in January, Marcus had the veal chop and I had the 12 oz NY strip. The steaks are always cooked to perfection, flavorful and a healthy portion.

For sides, we have add the broccolette, the mashed sweet potatoes and the mushrooms. All great choices.

For dessert, you HAVE to have the yellow cake. Its served with vanilla ice cream, bananas and a sauce that will leave you in a coma of pleasure.

The staff are friendly, attentive and always checking to insure you are having the best experience.

We'll definitely be back.
