We recommend at least 48 hours notice for a delivery and one-week notice for all catering orders. During busy seasons, we book up quickly. All orders are done on a first come first served basis. Thank you!
Tables are too close. You can hear the other guests talking. Chair uncomfortable. I have mine changed but I can still feel the wood frame. The table base is almost as wide as the table top making it very uncomfortable for your feet. I kept hitting it with my shoes. For an upscale dining, the service can be better. Nobody removed the crumbs after the bread and appetizers. Our server Heidi she was ok. We dined in this restaurant before and I thought the standard has gone down including food. The quality of the meat is way lower than other upscale steak house that we’ve been to. We want this retro stay open Santa Clarita but they have to bring it up a notch.
Very nice, just a little over priced for what it was but service was outstanding.
We have dined at Larsen's Steakhouse Valencia a number of occasions. Our recent visit, Monday, December 3rd was very nice. The Special of the Day was outstanding and but for four adjacent somewhat loud guests in the adjacent booth all was well. The guests were quiet for about the first 20 minutes but after a couple cocktails they began talking and laughing louder and louder . . . but not so uncomfortable that requires us to mention it to our server. We will happily return! I understand Richard Bokstrom is off on Mondays . . . it will be nice to re-connect so we will adjust our schedule next time.
Both the food and service were excellent.
Server was lack of attention. Check with us twice during dinner with a pass by rather than looking for what we may needed. We were there for 2 birthday celebrations and it was announced on reservations and phone confirmation just before dinner but absolutely no acknowledgement during the whole dinner. We felt like we were rushed to be done and out.
The food was outstanding but lackluster service left us feeling disappointed rather than a memorable one.
Took a little while to get initial service but once we stopped someone to take our drink orders things got moving.
We decided to stay local this year for Thanksgiving rather than driving to downtown for dinner. We had never been to Larsen’s but have heard how good it is. We were sat promptly when we arrived, ordered drinks, and a appetizer. The pork belly is delicious. Then it’s all down hill from there.
I love veal Oscar and have had it in several restaurants. I didn’t want to be disappointed so I asked if it came with king crab, asparagus, and Béarnaise sauce. Our waitress said it did and I ordered it med rare.
What arrived was a well done veal chop covered in shredded blue crab. I can only assume it’s the crab they use in the crab cakes. I scraped the layer of crab off and took a bite of the undercooked asparagus. Disappointment had set in.
I will never send anything back and half expected to be let down because who really wants to be working on Thanksgiving. To be fair my wife ordered the 8oz dry aged filet and she said it was perfect.
We ordered dessert, bananas fosters cake, that my wife loved. We paid our bill and proceeded to leave. We both found it odd that no one was watching the front. Even Chili’s has someone say “thank you” when you leave.
Oh well. We are adding this to our interesting Thanksgiving adventures. Maybe it was a fluke. Though my wife enjoyed her meal we both agreed that it certainly didn’t merit the $300 price and not worth a second chance.
Excellent Thanksgiving dinner in every respect and completed nicely by a Richard special. I am looking forward to returning!
Wonderful setting. Excellent service and food. Overall great experience.
Typical higher- end steak prices, so not a great value. $475. for three. The Mac Jalapeno Cheese side was excellent. N.Y. steak was average and overdone for medium. Filets were good. Service was very good. Whiskey Bar and wine selection was good. I would go back for business or special occasion.
the Server Colin, was great on a Monday night.
the food no fault of the server was seasoned great but the meat was a little Chewy/tough, (porter house Steak 32oz Medium cook).Mashed Potatoes are good and drinks are good.
we did get a free dessert and High end Drink bar. very generous!
Steak cooked to perfection. Our entire evening was perfect.
Food and service great. Price high, but food worth it.
I would of enjoyed to have a piano in the background. There was a young child that was yelling intermittently that wasnt good for a classy restaurant date.
Fantastic food!! Our Server Matt is outstanding, professional, well informed, great coversationist. He made us feel appreciated. YES we will visit again
One of the best restaurants we have ever been and we will definitely return for our next special occasion
Very Good experience and good service.
Great food and service.
Went for their wine list and it didn’t disappoint
One of the best steaks I've had in a while. Also the mashed potatoes were amazing.
Great food, our waiter was excellent...ambience was relaxing and serene...wonderful experience, steaks were perfect.
Great waiter. Colin made the evening great
As always, really nice.
Ive been to a lot of steak houses, and have had a lot of filets. Larsen's hands down the best so far!
The charcuterie plate was so disappointing! For $29.00, I expected to get amazing cheeses except we got 3 slices of cheddar sliced cheese (probably what they use on their burgers) and crumbled blue cheese ( I’m sure this cheese was what they use on their salads). Nonetheless, I would never order that again!
Great food and great wine. Christian was a wonderful, the entire staff was simply very accommodating and welcoming. Coming from the OC, it's great to find a great quality restaurant.
My hubby and I had our first date night after our baby was born. We had a wonderful time.
Food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Christian was absolutely the most wonderful, knowledgeable, professional, and charming server ever.
Very great place to eat and enjoy a quiet conversation with a romantic partner
There should be a designated area for large familes and children. Guest like myself would have preferred to hear less obscene language from loud crass guests and crying children. My husband and I made a point to get a sitter for our children since we were celebrating a special occasion. Instead, we spent an evening, along with healthy amount of money, listening to uneducated people enjoy loud vulgar conversation.
Awesome food, we had a great time
This place was outstanding. From the food to the service and atmosphere. Just wonderful.
Dinner here was a birthday surprise for my husband. The food and service is impeccable. The food is very pricey, but worth it if you want a really classy dining experience.
Had a pretty bad experience several months ago and haven't returned until now. The food was better but for a 5 Star restaurant (Valencia rating system) the food and service should ALWAYS be Outstanding and the former should NEVER have occurred.
We gave them a another chance and they performed fairly well. Servers should be a little more informed of their product.
I guess I'd recommend them again.
From where we were sitting, we could hear both the piano at the bar and the house music which made for an uncomfortable conflict. Maybe most people would not have been bothered but I'm a musician and it was distracting. Otherwise, a stellar evening.
Top notch. Definitely will go again
We had an amazing dinner. The service was great! We were celebrating my boyfriend buying rental property and our second monthaversary.
Always is a good experience there 😊
Requested well done Prime Ribeye $64+, half of steak red middle. Waiter said, “Oh, I’ll let the chef know”. Half my steak was left. He just took plate and walked away, no apologies, no bill adjustment or other consideration. Called next day, was told main manager was on day off, they took my number and said Mgr would call in return. It’s been a week and no call
We went last night for our 7th anniversary celebration. We had never been before and were not sure what to expect. From the second we arrived the service was impeccable. ZuZu was out server and she was spot on!! She knew the answer to all of our questions and described the dishes to perfection. We opted to share the bone in Rib Eye MR+. We also ordered the sautéed mushrooms and an Idaho baked potato with all the trimmings. My husband enjoyed 1/2 dozen oysters to start. Right away the food was spectacular to look at. The steak was cooked exactly like we prefer. The baked potato was large enough for 4 people. My husband loves the oysters and the presentation was amazing. The assistant manager treated us to a divine bananas foster pound cake. It was to die for. I was equally impressed that they called today to make sure our dinner was perfect. If I had to have one complaint.... the chives with the baked potato could have been fresh. But, that's really searching for a complaint. Try this place!
We have been to Larsen's many times and drove 25 miles to join family for this celebration. My husband and I shared a porterhouse which was $99...very expensive. each side of the "filet" was about as big as my thumb and tough ...the other side "T-Bone" was also small and chewy.
However, the service was excellent...could not ask for more...
We took my mom for her bday and she loved it. Perfect for celebrations
