My review is mixed, but ultimately not favorable. I went for Valentines Day dinner and didn’t eat there. The entire menu was overhauled, leaving more than half of the regular menu unavailable and the few items that were from the regular menu were jacked up in price to take advantage of customers, but the hostess who confirmed my reservation neglected to mention there would be any change to the menu at all. It’s one thing to offer a special (overpriced) menu, but to raise your prices on the same product is pretty unacceptable in my opinion. The staff service is horrible. We arrived on time and were told by the oversharing hostess we would need to wait 15-20 mins because people weren’t showing up on time for their reservation. So we went to the bar; we awkwardly sat there for over 10 minutes without anyone working in the bar acknowledging us. So then I went up to the bar to get drinks and bring them back right in time to be sat by the oversharing hostess who says “what a night”. You don’t say! Then I find out the menu is 89% steak and 10% cooked seafood I’m not interested in. One chicken and one pork dish. So much for picking a restaurant I thought was going to have variety. The server couldn’t have cared less when I asked her and at that point it was time to get a manager involved. Alex single handedly saved any possibility that we return to Larsen’s by offering to buy us another drink and imploring us to come back another time. Without her attempt to placate the situation the service would most definitely be a 1-Star in my opinion. We’ll see if we try happy hour in the future.
Experience at Larsen’s was ok. Food was good, our waitress ‘Asia’ was fantastic. Hostess’s were terrible. We had a reservation and still it took 30 minutes to be seated at 8:30pm.

There are much better steak house options on Henderson for the same price. We made a reservation and table was not ready for twenty minutes after arriving on time for our reservations. Once seated waited over five minutes for menus to be delivered at the table. Then server took a good ten minutes to come back and go over the menu with us or take our order. It took another fifteen minutes just to have water delivered to our table. We never had any bread delivered but that could of been because it was Valentines day and they weren't doing bread.
We ordered artichoke dip to share as an appetizer. Server tried to deliver it to three other tables before realizing it belong to our table. This happened to several peoples throughout the night. The dip was nothing special. We were not given appetizer plates and ended up just eating off the plate it was served on.
My filet was overcooked and my husband steak was under cooked. No one came to check on how our entrees were until we were well over halfway through our food, so really no option to send them back. Unless we wanted to wait for another half hour to actually eat. By this point, I just wanted food, our meal was already delayed in the beginning.
Took over a half hour after meal to get bill and pay the bill. It was not on lack of us wanting to leave but lack of anyone coming to pick the check up. Overheard servers complaining it was to busy and this is why they don't work on the strip. For the price totally not worth it. The best thing all night was the glass of wine. Go to Hanks at Green Valley if you want superb service and great food.
First, I don’t mind paying if food as well as service is good, but this place lack both. We have a reservation for 6:30 and we were there at 6:25 but did not get seated till 7:00pm. Then we waited another 5 minutes for the waiter to come to greet us and take the drink order. After taking the drink order, he disappeared and ten minutes later showed up with no drinks. He said sorry, I’m getting it now. By the way the drink is just ginger ale! I said we are really hungry and want to order the appetizer and want some bread. We got the appetizer after 10 minutes but still no ginger ale nor bread. Asked for it again and finally got it. We ordered the rib eye steak medium well and brought to our table burnt and tough. Saw the bill and noticed they charged for the stinking bread. We spent a lot of money for this dinner and we were so dissatisfied. We will not go back.
Food tasted great but kitchen was overwhelmed by large Valentine’s Day crowd, causing slow service that was not our waiter’s fault. Also had to wait for a table despite a reservation at just 6 p.m. But we would return for a non-holiday special occasion. Meals are pricey for everyday eating in this area, but portions are generous.
Can't make up their mind if they want to be fine dining or another bar/restaurant. Need to get rid of the the TVs. Food was decent but expensive and the garlic potatoes should have been called butter instead...the roasted garlic saved the meal
The service was actually excellent.
We have eaten at Larsen's several times, this time with another couple. Quite frankly I was surprised at the fact the service was not what it normally is. We waited for what seemed to be 20 minutes for our drinks and when they arrived there was an item missing. That item did not arrive until the shortly after the second round of drinks were served.
We ate out on the patio and it was a nice evening to do so, and it was not overly packed, so I am uncertain of any reason for the waitstaff to take so long for our drinks.
Went on a Friday evening about 8pm, sat down as soon as we arrived. I had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly. Wife had the filet and she loved it. Mac and cheese was outstanding. Both of us had cocktails and they were great as well. Waiter was friendly and provided great service. Definitely be returning!
The Manager Derek is the best in the business, kind, excellent customer service and personable.
He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone had a wonderful experience!!

despite making reservation and the restaurant not being nearly full on a Saturday night, the table was not ready when we arrived - bread is provided for the table but when the bread was served there were no dishes available - also no wine list was available when our menus were presented - scotch drink was presented with the bare minimum one ounce which looks rather feeble in a large glass - the fact that the entire bar area contained one couple on a Saturday night suggests that the drinks are not the most generous in the area - have been here before with much better food and service - suspect that they may have been short staffed on this particular occassion

Excellent food, great steaks! I’d like to consider this a fine dining establishment but with that being said, an espresso machine is a MUST along with serving Sambuca with “flies “!
Was nice but told them at reservation and when we got there we were celebrating birthdays of two young lady cousins. They never brought anything out. Disappointing
Tried Larsen’s for the 2nd time after a previous so-so experience. It’s just not up to par with steakhouses at the same price point like Fleming’s, Maestros, Silverado or Hanks. It’s really just elevated mall food.
The prime rib was bland and un-remarkable. My friends meat was undercooked, but the waiter didn’t know because he never checked back to our table once the runner served our entrees. My NY steak was very fatty with hardened fat edges, with having to discard about every other bite. Place was empty on a Saturday night, save for 3 tables of diners.
It’s just not a place I can recommend for $42 steaks. Go to outback for mall-level food and spend the same amount you would here for a higher end steakhouse experiences.

WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME TO ENJOY....WOULD BE GREAT TO SHOP AT THE GALLERIA MALL, THEN LUNCH AT LARSEN'S. YOU WILL ENOY...ABSOLUTELY .....THE WAIT STAFF ANTICIPATES YOUR NEEDS.

We arrived just as they opened for dinner, so was nice and quiet due to light traffic. All of the staff were extremely attentive and eager to please. The food was absolutely phenomenal, a new favorite for us when we want steak and crab cakes! This off-the-strip gem is right up there with the best of the on-the-strip steakhouses, and may even be better than some.
Dinner this evening was wonderful. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. We will be back

My family went to Larsen’s for Thanksgiving dinner. Probably not the best choice. Our Turkey dinners resembled TV dinners in appearance and taste. Even the pumpkin pie was below par. Our server was excellent but felt so bad for us that he obtained a 20% discount for us from the manager. I think that this restaurant should stick to their product line of steak and grilled items. We definitely would not recommend for Thanksgiving, but may be okay for other days.
I wasn’t given the table against a wall as per requested. Given it was a business meeting, I wasn’t going to ask the hostess to give me another table for my party of 7 as she guided me to the table in the middle of the dining room and in direct line of traffic for all the other customers to walk by us.
Not happy about that at all!

This was one of the best dinners my husband & I have had in several years! We had never been before, but will definitely be coming back more often! Our waiter Jeff was extremely knowledgeable & very helpful for our first visit. Can't wait you go back to try more items from the menu.
Went on a Wednesday night, so very quite in the restaurant. Atmosphere was nice and the staff was fantastic. The food on the other hand left something to be desired. It started well with an appetizer of filet sliders. High recommend those. They were awesome. We also go the spinach dip, but that one was not so good. It had a slight fishy taste to it, but other people at the table did not mind it so much. When the entrees came we had four different entrees. They were all average tasting at best. Nothing spectacular, nothing worth the price. The worst was by far was the creamed spinach. It tasted so much like fish the two people that ordered it had to send it back. In fact, I don’t say this often, it was disgusting. They did take it back without a problem. Of course we were suppose to be credited back on our bill for the side, which never happened. Oh well though. I can say I tried the restaurant, and I can say I don’t think I will go back.
Food excellent. No rush to leave.

The food was delicious! I had the chicken sandwich and fries and I loved the thick cut fries. My husband had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfect with peppercorn sauce. We will definitely return!

My husband and I went for my birthday dinner and were disappointed. His steak was overcooked and the waiter insisted he send it back. However, my dinner was already served and by the time his steak came back properly cooked, I was finished eating. The waiter did give my husband a complimentary bowl of clam chowder and a cup of after dinner coffee and dish of ice cream for my birthday dessert, but it wasn't quite the experience we were expecting for the price.
Not the least expensive of restaurants but quality and service make it worth the price.
We had steak and prime rib. They were both excellent. Service was very good. The Bar did not have American Brandy! ( Korbel, Christian Brothers). For a Steak House I couldn't believe it. Overall we enjoyed Larsen's , albeit quite spendy.
First time; I was "batching it"alone. Surprised at the ambiance; the filet sandwich was exceptional, loaded baked potato was smooth and not lumpy, wine selection very good, and the best creme brûlée I have tasted since living in France. Altogether a surprisingly delicious evening. I will be back.
The food and customer service was amazing. It was our 50th Anniversary, They gave us a card and dessert!
