Lovely waitress , delicious food and drinks , great ambiance . Try the Vanilla Sky drink!
Looked for a place to celebrate our anniversary (50). We could not be more satisfied. Food was exceptional. Service was fantastic. Sure don't mint paying a little more when the quality and taste surpasses what you expected.
The service could not have been any better from the young lady who seated us to Alfredo who was our server.
Every time we dine a Larsens it is always on point! Wonderful service, great Cocktails, Fabulous food !
Such a serene atmosphere made the evening so special !
Excellent menu and service. Great steaks and fish choices with attentive servers. Service is escellent
Food was excellent! Always consistent. Definitely worth the money.
Except for the extremely detached, rude hostess when we checked in, the experience was good. Our waiter was very engaging and didn’t make us feel rushed. Food was very good as usual.
Not sure what was going on with the hostess but she was very obviously unhappy and wanting to be elsewhere. Not a good welcome at all.
The entire experience was 5 Star. Our server, Jessica, was outstanding along with the entire staff. Thanks for a great anniversary dinner!!!
I celebrated my 80th birthday. The staff particularly our waitress & bus man who cleared our table went above & beyond to make our meal enjoyable. I had the Chilean seabass & it was prepared to perfection & was superb. My husband enjoyed a rib eye steak perfectly cooked You have a magnificent chef. Bravo to the chef!! The complementary dessert was delicious. It topped off my 80th birthday celebration perfectly You made my birthday very enjoyable.
We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Both the host and waiter made the event special. We appreciated the level of service.
Was disappointed because the
Larsen’s is always a good time - great service and food. High quality steak house.
Service took a very long time for the amount of customers there were.
Food and service were great! Drinks were a little strong but overall it was really good! Definitely will go back.
Our filets were perfectly prepared, as were the sides. My medium was cooked medium, my wife's medium rare was medium rare. Sadly, that's a surprise at many steakhouses.
Great food, friendly & professional staff. Our favorite place for a special dinner.
We dined at Larsen's for the first time on our anniversary. We were extremely satisfied with the service we received. From the moment we entered and were greeted by the hostess throughout our meal each person we encountered was very courteous and professional. The food was excellent. They offered a special of chateaubriand and it was delicious. It came with two sides and we chose baked potatoes and green beans. The beans were cooked perfectly. The filet mignon was covered with grilled onions and there was also a mushroom sauce both were very good. As a treat, we received a wonderful butter cake with whipped cream, strawberries and vanilla ice cream on the side. All and all it was a wonderful evening and we will most certainly return.
Just perfect in general
I think next time I would sit outside because it was a little noisy
Had a 5PM reservation and was seated right on time. Sat at a table outside, as requested. That was very nice... the space, ambiance, arrangement, low noise level, overall was quite pleasant. The greeter and waitstaff did a good job. Professional, efficient and just attentive enough. (I'm a low-maintenance customer and I don't like overly attentive waiters that distract from the dining experience with friends.) Maybe ironically, the only low point of the experience was the food at this restaurant. While the presentation was good, the meat was definitely overcooked, not the medium-rare I'd requested. Taste was so-so. The onion rings were very good with a light, non-oily batter, but there were not very many of them. I was there with a friend I'd not seen in a couple years, so it was great place to chat and get caught up on our lives. I'd certainly recommend Larsen's for the comfortable environment. But based on my first-time experience, I'd say the food was "okay" but not worth the price. I've consistently had better at other restaurants in the same genre. Hoping it can actually live up to its beefed-up reputation, I'm willing to give Larsen's another chance in the near future. [In recommending Larsen's to a friend or colleague, it'd be with caveats and I'd definitely want to know about their unique experience and impressions.]
Food is delicious
First time there and we were very pleased. Will definitely return next time we're in SoCal
Server was helpful, informative and friendly. Bussers/food runners were prompt. Most importantly food was great! Also, I appreciate the manager being present, shows great leadership.
Overall it was an okay experience. I was looking forward to the Prime Rib but it came out warm, not hot, as did the Brussels. It didn't taste like the meat was seasoned at all. The Peach Martini was fabulous, however.
My son loved the lobster roll.
I'll certainly come back and give it another try. We all have our off days.
We have dined here many times before COVID restrictions. Finally, we returned to indoor dining.
This time we ordered the Macadamia Encrusted Seabass, and the Short Ribs. Seabass flavors and sauce, are outstanding, ribs, not so much.
Our server, Alyssa was great. It was our anniversary and she made it special. The food was great, the Chateaubriand for two was spectacular, cooked to perfection. All the service people took great care of us. We will return.
Celebrating our 47th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful meal. Service was excellent.
For a top steak house the steak was pretty bad. Shared a 14 oz NY strip steak that was void of flavor. Fish and chips for my mom was priced crazy at $34. As someone allergic to cheese having cheese bread as only bread option is pretty pathetic. With no appetizers and just a couple of glasses of wine the $260 bill for 4 was really poor value.
We go there often and this time discovered their half roast chicken (plump, juicy, well seasoned, divine). Also, good to know, the sides can be substituted so I got broccolini instead carrots. The chicken is so huge I took the entire breast home for another dinner. Although it’s the priciest restaurant at the Collection, we think it’s worth the extra cost because of the outstanding service, ambiance and quality food consistency.
Great food and service
Good things first, The waitress was very courteous and friendly and honest. My son thoroughly enjoyed his tri tip. The rest of the dishes were just ok. The quality of food was great but quantity is not definitely not worth the price. We ordered Jalapeno Queso chips which came with quality chips, Yummy queso and Guacamole (may be a table spoon or two). They all tasted great but we were left with many chips with no dip/guac. The Macadamia nut crusted Chilean Sea Bass was very salty. We brought it to our waitress's notice when she was checking on us and she got us a free desert as a surprise which was nice nice of them. We already ordered our dessert and getting another additional one did not mean anything to us. All the dishes that we have ordered were much better and reasonably priced at other restaurants. The restaurant certainly lacked a USP. As we walked out we were not sure what we paid that money for. We were 4 and averaged $70 per person (including tip) and we did not feel the value for money.
Came on a date and was most impressed with the service and attentiveness from Matt the Server. Super super friendly and I’ll be back to see him. Tell him the Mac & Chz taste like Brown Sugar lol Keep up the great work Matt
The hostess working should not be a hostess. Bad first impression. Servers were great. Great atmosphere. Food was above average, but not amazing. Mixed up how we wanted our steaks cooked. It happens, no biggie. I've had better food for less. I would look elsewhere for fine dining.
Perception of value was not on point for us. Sandwich bread was soggy and greasy. Lobster bisque had good flavor but $20 for 12 oz of soup is exhorbitant.
Kaitlin was our waitress and she was excellent! We were seated outside with heaters and were very comfortable, and because we were seated outside the noise level was minimal. Great dining experience!
Always great food and great service. Will be back.
What a fun time celebrating my sons birthday! Food was great and the service was too!
We had a great evening. Everyone was friendly and the food was fantastic. If I could make one suggestion it would be to add Stella Artois and Heineken to the beverage menu.
Missed the piano music. The music that was playing was a little too modern for us. Piano music like before would have been great. Everything else was very good.
