Fantastic meal and Experience

Long wait even with reservation but otherwise great

We had our last outdoor dining experience before going on lockdown again. It was my husbands birthday. We had the best service and food. We love Larsens and cannot wait to go back again as soon as it is safe!!

The food is pretty good, but overpriced a little bit.

Really grateful for our server who provided the best service and wonderful experience. Although it was very cold there were multiple heated lamps that kept me nice and warm. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything that I ordered was exceptional especially their porterhouse steak. Especially grateful for the wonderful birthday buttercake and the thought that went into creating the best presentation. Definitely recommend taking your special someone here. You won’t regret it.

Larsen's Grill did an outstanding job. Food, Service were excellent. Only the impact of eating outdoors instead of their well appointed dining room. This was our first visit to the Oxnard location (we have been to others several times). The setting in the mall is attractive and we certainly look forward to going back!!

Thanksgiving

A great Thanksgiving experience out.

We celebrated my Wife's Birthday/Thanksgiving as a family and our experience was '5 Star' all the way. Our server was still freshly hired but you would have NEVER known it, she was amazing!! The food was excellent as was the beautiful patio area where we dined. Thank you Larsen's Oxnard for an unforgettable evening!

Truly disappointed. Porterhouse Steak was tough and flavorless, and I’m happy with just salt. Service was rough. Waited over 20 min once seated to get greeted. Too expensive to serve inferior food and settle for poor service. Will never go back, I’m afraid.

This place is way overpriced for what they offer, I will pay big $$$ for good food anywhere but not this place, wife ordered prime ribs dip sandwich and I ordered ribeye steak, of course I eat it it was $66 but my blood pressure went to 200 because of the amount of salt they season it with. One good thing the waiter was wonderful.

The USDA Prime filet 8 oz, was exceptional; add the loaded baked potato preceded by a fantastic Caesar salad with anchovies, and top it off with a glass of Babcock Pinot Noir and you have one of the best dinner for a special celebration.

This is the 6th time I had dinner at Larsen's and equally enjoyable.

Food was overpriced for the quality. Service was a bit slow but server was very personable.

In these times, even old favorite restaurants have not managed to "come back" from the curves government has thrown them. Larsen's is an exception. Bravo.

The food was not good as it was before. Kind of disappointed, on the other hand food was kind of pricy for the quality of food.

We have dined here many times because the food and the service are always good. We were lucky to get a seat inside in the bar area where we were served by Boots and Conner. We appreciate their commitment to delivering excellently crafted cocktails.

The 5 cheese Mac N Cheese and Creamed Spinach were bland. The steak was tender but also in lacked flavor. Surprisingly, the Mango Halibut was quite flavorful! I would try it again, just for the sake of it.

Great food, picturesque outdoor setting, wonderful service and perfect ambiance.

The place is pretty, great service, I ordered steak, I’m a steak lover but unfortunately the steak was very salty that I couldn’t eat it, they were very nice and it didn’t charged me for it besides that all was good.

Large menu, good service, great food! A very nice treat for dining.

Outstanding overall

Our 2nd time back and we brought a larger group (6). Everyone was very pleased. Great restaurant in all aspects!

Amazing! First time there and will definitely be going again. Delicious food and amazing service!

Everything was great. Unfortunately we were not ready to order a drink right away... my mistake I had to wait 20 minutes before he checked back. He came out several times but never glanced our way. I’m a server so I get when your busy but 20 minutes is along time to wait to get your drink. Especially when we were Celaya birthday and anniversary.

Great dining experience and food as well as service given the current conditions. I met a client and his wife there yesterday evening and we had a good time.

Great food, service and ambience!!!

Our waiter gave excellent service. Our food was delicious. It was a rather cold night due to covid we couldn’t sit inside but other than that everything was great.

This was an overall horrible experience. Service was so painfully slow and the quality of the food was not acceptable. It started with a busser only bringing two waters for a table of four. By the time he came back with two more waters, we still hadn’t seen the waitress. The waitress finally came and we placed our entire order. The food came out in an ok time frame but it was not good. The filet tasted like a bad version of an Outback Steakhouse steak. Not at all what you would expect from Larsen’s. While we were waiting for our food, we saw who we learned to later be the manager with a mask under his nose and reaching over people. It didn’t look like he cared at all about COVID guidelines or the safety of his customers. We finished our food and it was over 25 minutes until we just gave up and walked inside to try and find someone to pay so we could leave. I asked to speak to the manager, who now was watching tv behind the bar. While waiting for the manager the waitress finally came in after us asking if we were ready to go. While my husband was paying, the manager came. Again, absolutely no regard for keeping distance or space. Not just Covid space, but common decency space between two people you don’t know. I told him that the food was horrible and the service was worse. That we have been trying to pay and leave and we are just now getting to because we walked in here. He says “ok. I will take care of you next time.” No apologies, no attempt to make it right, nothing. Didn’t ask for my name so no way to make it right again. Then he walked back over to watch tv. Horrible experience.

Beautiful ambiance

Wonderful evening. Our first night out since COVID. Felt very safe. Wonderful food & fantastic service by Alfredo. Would definitely go there again.

Best Salmon I’ve ever had. The blood orange margarita was on point.

I celebrated my ”61st” birthday. Everything was perfect. I've never had a bad meal at Larsen’s. Loved every moment.

We had a wonderful time and a delicious dinner. The service was excellent, and we loved sitting outside. My daughter said it was the most fun she's had in 2020 because she felt "Normal"

I know space is limited due to Covid but we had to settle on a really late reservation time,

I hadn’t been out much since Covid happened, I felt safe with the staff and the outdoor seating was perfectly set up, the food was excellent, the drinks were on point , the staff was knowledgeable, and attentive, the chef was amazing. We enjoyed spending our 1 year wedding Anniversary dinner at Larsen’s Grill, we’ll be back! Thank you!
