Very good restaurant near Vail Village. Excellent wine list and interesting choices. Slightly expensive but worth it.

Very surprised the food was not hot. The potatoes on the veal dish were cold. The restaurant was not very crowded so we are confused as to how the meal came out very quickly and was room temperature. The veal was very bland hardly any flavor and the spinach was salty. A disappointment.

We had fabulous time at Larkspur, the service was amazing, very attentive and professional, managers visited the table a few times during our meal. We really felt like royalty. The atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommended.

Best. Tomato soup. Ever. I do wish they'd bring back the mini grilled cheese variety sampler they used to serve the soup with, but it's still fabulous. Burger's very thick, served on a wonderfully light brioche bun; skinny fries get cold too soon but have good flavor. Doughnut balls w/ dipping sauce very tasty. Good espresso drinks and Champagne by the glass, Excellent, hospitable staff. Lovely dining room with comfortable booths, perfect lighting, beautiful glassed-in wine room. Really need at least a onesie within the restaurant/bar as opposed to having to trek all the way through the loud, crowded foyer to the bathrooms on the other side of the building. Ski-in @ Golden Peak.

I decided to visit Larkspur for dinner with my girlfriend, based on the positive first experience last year, We were treated so spectacularly from beginning to end, the restaurant is ran extremely professionally. The staff are very welcoming (hostess greeting us with smile) and friendly, amazing service by the staff, with having very knowledgeable not only servers that can help you out with the menu selection, but also having Managers who stop by at your table throughout your dinner offering so much hospitality. It was so romantic with a great atmosphere and lovely music in the background. This restaurant is definitely a place to go for lunch, brunch or dinner, regardless if its for business dinner or just family or friends.

Larkspur is always our favorite in Vail. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the food was to die for and the staff were amazing. The staff were so friendly, happy to chat and explain each course as well as cater for me with significant allergies. A lot of restaurants make a big deal of it, almost embarrassing me in the process. At Larkspur, they said they were aware of my allergies and would tweak the meal to fit my needs and that I wouldn't need to eat something different from regular menu.

The menu was very limited and no specials featured, expensive for what was being offered. Ambiance nice and service good but have been there in the pass and unfortunately this is the first time I’ve been disappointed

Service was good. Ambiance is nice, but the food doesn’t deliver. Five entree choices, with one that is a $16 burger-just a regular burger. We’ve been here many times in the past, but the kitchen has changed and the flavors aren’t very exciting. Salmon was not very good and uninspiring flavors. Seafood bisque was tasty, but overpowered by saltiness.

The butter lettuce salad was appealing and delicious. The veal scaloppine was one of the best preparations I’ve ever had. The server was attentive and earnestly trying to do a good job, but a few things got muddled—such as presenting the wrong dish to several diners in our party. What struck me as most odd about the restaurant is it’s location, outside the village, in a mid-range ski lodge, attached to a ski in-ski out bar/restaurant. The restaurant’s lavatories were the lodge’s heavy duty, rather worn ski lodge facilities. ..odd when one is dressed for dinner to be surrounded by dirty slush. Still, that veal!!!
