About
Our server was phenomenal and the food was as well. Lark continues to be our all time favorite restaurant.
We wanted a special restaurant in which to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the minute we walked in I felt Lark was perfect. The design of the restaurant, while spacious, has created a sense of intimacy with lighting, table placement, combination of plushly upholstered booths and tables covered with white tablecloths. The attention paid to us by our waiter was warm friendly professional and efficient. The food was delicious. We look forward to returning.
AMAZING food. We were very impressed. There were lots of little touches that made the food above and beyond.
The service was horrible. It was so slow. Not usual for Lark.
Lark was just okay. The menu tries too hard to be "funky foodie", and we all struggled with what to order. And once our food was on the table, there was nothing that stuck out as so delicious or memorable. There was no item or dish that was so good, we can't wait to eat there again and order it. The atmosphere was nice and our service was good. That said, there are too many other good restaurants to try in Seattle.
One of the best restaurants in Seattle. Loved every dish!
Food is beyond exceptional. Service is very good. Love it, is my ‘Must go” when I visit Seattle.
Great meal and lovely ambiance!
It was amazing
We had a wonderful, creative meal at Lark, each dish was delicious, the service was superb, and they made our birthday celebration memorable.
Love Lark. Fantastic meal as always. Highly recommend.
Fantastic from start to finish...one of the best meals we've enjoyed in quite some time. Service was outstanding as well and the ambiance was wonderful.
Great dinner, we tried a bunch and everything was great.
Food came out cold, literally colder than room temp. Should never happen, ruined dinner. Where was the waiter?
The food is seasonal, fresh and delicious. It's my special occasion choice.
Food and service is great everytime! I always make sure I order the foie gras terrine!
Lark is a good place. It tries to be more than it is. I don't care about value but the value is horrible. It ha's experimental plates with marginal success that should never get past a taster. I'm an eater, i eat at good places. Lark tries but ultimately, some dishes fail and other succeed but there are a lot of other options i wildly prefer.
When I made our reservation a month ago, there was no disclosure online that the dinner would be a set menu at a set price. A member of your staff called me on 2-10 to confirm our reservation and so informed me. By then it was too late to make a reservation elsewhere for Valentine’s Day.
The meal was ok but not great, considering the price. I did not like any of the dessert choices, and was offered a specialty ice cream. Unfortunately it was half- melted by the time it was served. A disappointing meal for a special occasion. One reason we picked Lark was because of the variety of your regular menu which we have enjoyed in the past.
I am a chef. So maybe my review might be a bit harsh but I was expecting more in the quality of the food. Most dishes were one note, like the halibut with artichoke (fish n citrus) was ok but not great.
I was expecting great. The octopus had good flavor but was chewy. The tarte tatin pastry was soft on the bottom, I mean that’s just pastry 101.
The amount of the cauliflower soup in the bowl was a joke. I was just overall disappointed with the cost of compared to the quality of the meal. I expected way more.
The service was great, our waitress was a sweet lady just very kind.
Loved Lark! Friendly and professional staff. Handled unruly table behind us well.
Wonderful meal!
Had a great anniversary dinner!
Came for our anniversary and they welcomed us to our table with glasses of champagne. The service was great and the food was even better! Will definitely be back.
We were back for a birthday celebration. Should come more often. Chef Sundstrom and team puts together a great seasonal menu. We tried a lot from the menu, most memorable was the house bread with smoked lard, seared foie gras, squid ink mantella sheets with Dungeness crab, mushrooms & Meyer Lemon...and, drumroll...the hangar steak and the scallops. Everything was perfect, except for one of our desserts, the baba au rhum. I thought it was too dry. Won’t wait so long to be back.
We had a lovely dinner. The waitress was very knowledgeable & accommodating.
Lark is consistent in its fine food and great service. We have favorites there and also love trying their always creative new options. This time I had the squid mantilla which was a delicious surprise. My husband had the pork belly and could praise it enough. We will be back this week for the short rib special. Be sure to try the octopus, too.
Delicious well prepared food made from fresh local ingredients. Excellent service.
It’s all about the food! Great flavors
We had a lovely dinner out at lark with friends
This gem of a restaurant is one of my favorites in Seattle. Seafood dishes are prepared with flair and subtlety; greens/veggies are fresh and prepared in inventive ways. The servers are knowledgeable about wine pairings--I was offered a taste of one I'd never tried before, in addition to the bottle my dining partner and I selected; how generous. The ambience is fantastic--convivial, relaxed, upscale. Lark is a wonderful place to dine well!
Casual friend bday dinner. Everything was perfect.
Fantastic as always!
They lost a star because their restroom situation is appalling. Way to far. way to cold and filthy. Go before you get there. Also their flatware needs an upgrade. The spoons they gave us to eat with were old serving spoons. Otherwise all was perfect.
One of our FAVORITE Seattle foodie places. We take family here when they visit and save Lark for special date nights. The cocktails are pretty (and strong) and the food is like fresh, seasonal, artfully made Northwest meals. Highly recommend.
We originally went to Lark because of how unique the food sounded. I am a chef and I love to see menus featuring the use of ingredients in fun, inventive ways. With that said, I ordered the caviar. The most expensive one they had, sturgeon. What I was served is what I will remember the most, and not for good reasons. They served me a nice pile of caviar and creme, but on top of a salty blini that was about an inch thick. Sort of like a griddle corn cake. Due to it being extremely hot, the caviar was essentially cooked. Which means it's flavor was negatively affected. It is sacrilege to serve caviar hot. I am all for doing things a new way, and so I have it a try. Beyond the point of being able to return it. I just couldn't believe they served it that way. It didn't even taste good. But... With that said, the rest of the meal was great. Tartare was some of the best I've ever had and the sun choke soup was amazing. Scallops were a special and were nearly tasteless. But the rest of the plate made up for it. Anyway, I wouldn't say Lark was worth the amount I paid and the caviar was offensive, but it is still worth trying. Servers were on point as well.
Food was exceptionally good. Excellent quality and presentation.
We visited Lark based on the many positive reviews, so it’s only fair to do the same favor for others. Lark is fantastic. As a party of four, we were able to try multiple courses, and every plate—whether it was an appetizer, second, or main course—was delicious. What a lovely evening!
Birthday dinner
One of the best places in Seattle, for sure! The food was delicious, the service was on a very high level!
We shared some starters and a few glasses of champagne. It was a completely delightful evening! Highly reccommended!!
