Great service. Great food, very original, and very seasonal (hunting season): pheasant, quails.... we had a great time. Portions are large and can be shared between 2 people without starving. Recommended

This was a preconcert dinner. The food was great, but we waited a while to be greeted by our server and had to flag her down several times to get service. We would try it again and see if we have better luck with our server.

Food was excellent! There were a couple of mishaps where they weren’t offering what was on the menu, but overall what they had was great. I thought the drinks were a little over priced for the size.

My whole family really enjoyed this dining restaurant. My 4 year old grandson spilled ice water all over the table and the staff made it so easy for us- cleaning up with a smile . We had fun!! The food was great. The ambiance is FUN.

Weekend dining is brunch or nothing. Hope you like eggs or a ridiculously expensive cold turkey sandwich or burger. Location is terrific and I like the chalkboard art very much. Valet parking (front brunch, served 10 - 3) is complimentary and very convenient. Drinks are expensive, though, and the food is meh.

We were seated quickly with reservation, but on a Saturday evening the restaurant was never more than half full. While there was an almost overbearing spotlight on our table, we noticed diners on the perimeter of the dining room was using the light from their phones to read the menu. The evening started with, while delightful, a waitress who was working the first night and couldn't recommend any drinks or food based on experience (she had not tasted either). The summer gazpacho had the consistency of liquid while the octopus salad was nice. There was four of us in our party celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday. The two girls ordered steak, I ordered lamb chops and my husband ordered the quail. Three of the entrees were fine, but the lamb chops were too rare (almost raw) and were not seasoned at all. The menu indicated there were artichokes on the dish, but there was only one full bite worth. The server allowed our daughter to order the Vegan mousse even though she was unsure about what to order. The mousse was not good. The cookies and milk dessert was the best item on the dinner. The total for four with two drinks each with tip was in excess of $300 - way overpriced for the quality of the experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Lark on the Park. Great service, knowledgeable about Gluten Free Options, great ambience. Afterwards we took a walk around Klyde Warren Park. We will definitely be back!

To start with, their bartender makes a great Manhattan. And I enjoy that while I'm looking at the latest chalk art renditions on the walls - a unique feature in Dallas.

As always, the food and service were great. I like so many things on the menu it is difficult to choose. Some of the offerings are one of a kind; you won't find anything else like it in Dallas.

And, it is so convenient for dinner before going to the Dallas Symphony. We walk across the park to the Meyerson, so we only have to park once.

Our waiter did everything possible to compensate for the problems we had dining, but there were several mis-fires during our lunch. First, the kitchen miscounted the specials which we both ordered. The waiter went to put the order in and there was only one left in the system. Then, when the order got to the kitchen, they realized there were no specials.
Also, the salads and entrees came out at the same time.
Finally, I had the risotto stuffed quail. There was good flavor, but it was a struggle to eat with utensils.

The location is great, complimentary valet parking is a plus and we're surprised by a complimentary drink due to our anniversary. But the food and desert were just not really good at this time. Texture, taste, presentation could be better. We would still come back for drinks and to try appetizers, but not sure if we'd have dinner here again.

This was my second visit. I did not like the service on my first visit and it was equally bad on the second. Hostess was sullen, waitress acted like she was angry about being there, manager ignored us. There were only about 10 other diners there. Although the food was good, we will NOT return. We were made to feel like we were putting everyone out.

Food was fantastic but we were very disappointed in the service. We went during brunch and the place was not packed or crazy busy. Hopefully it was just our specific server and not the restaurant as a whole. But food was awesome!

We treated visiting out of town friends for brunch on Saturday. Our waiter was great. My husband's food was cool when it should have been hot and my eggs were COLD. The potatoes that came with our meals were very hot. It must have been a timing issue in the kitchen. We did not opt to send it back because of time and we did not want to make an issue in front of friends we had not seen in 25 years.

Our meal was fabulous unfortunately the service was mediocre. We waited 10 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation and the server was just average. Not at all the experience I've come to love at Lark on Park. Hoping future visits will be better.

Our medium bone in ribeye arrived more rare than I've ever seen a rare steak served. For such an expensive meal and type of restaurant, expectations were to receive a medium steak. It was a business dinner, nobody wanted to argue with Service. However, Service didn't check to see if steak was satisfactory. Just giving feedback.... maybe it was a Monday and it was late, not sure.

One appetizer had a tasteless breading crust that looked like scabs. No lie. Between the appetizer and entrees the waitress brought out the frites which we ordered to go with our entrees, which took a long time to arrive. The fries were lukewarm. When the entrees arrived, The lamb that Was ordered medium rare came out well done. Had to return and WAIT entirely too long for it to be replaced. The vegetarian entree was completely inedible. Quite possibly the worst tasting dish ever. While these entrees were replaced on request I would have liked to have had some sort of discount or comp especially as this caused us to run late to our next commitments. I've given this restaurant it's last chance and will never go back nor recommend to anyone.

Food was good not great. Brisket was tasty but a little too cooked.

Valet parking was asleep at the switch when I arrived leaving me confused as to whether anyone was working or not. Restaurant staff was friendly.

The setting and food are wonderful. I love to eat near Klyde Warren, particularly with out of town friends. However, our service on Monday night was slow, slow, slow. Every element was delivered leisurely and the dessert was 'lost'. They gave us complimentary ice cream- but not in the flavor we had ordered. It was not up to the standards of this restaurant.

As always, the food was excellent. And Lark continues to demonstrate that. I love the variety and choices and the wine list has great selections across a broad price range. That said, I was disappointed by the service that evening. Small mistakes were made that just seemed out of character from my previous visits. For example, when a salad was ordered, we were asked if we wanted fresh pepper. Was told they would be back quickly, and we waited .... waited ... waited until we just began eating. Also, it seemed the wait person had a lot of tables to cover because there seemed to be quite a bit of time between times she would check in on use.

Like I mentioned ... food was EXCELLENT as always. Just disappointed at the service on this trip.

I had been here once before when they first opened and I had a wonderful time. The service was exceptional and the food fantastic. I had heard there was a new chef and was looking forward to another good meal. This time was disappointing as we had to search for our server several times and my meal was inedible due to being over salted. My meal was removed from the bill, but by the time our server returned to ask how everything tastes my friend had finished her very bland meal and it was too late to get something else before the movie in the park began. It is an expensive restaurant and I hoped for more. I don't see myself giving it another chance. It's too bad because it's in such a great location.
