Recommend that you don’t sit near music speakers from restaurant next door.

Went here for a late night dinner date on vacation and it was delicious! Loved the BBQ ribs and Ropa Veja!!!

Interior decor and overall vibe was disappointing. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation, we were seated at perhaps the worst table in the virtually empty restaurant. Food was delicious however and redeemed the lack of good ambiance.

More form than function. Very nice atmosphere inside but band is too loud to have comfortable conversation. Menu is mostly traditional dishes but with a fine dining presentation. If you want better (and more authentic) Cuban food, I'd recommend La Carretta or Versailles or just about any Cuban restaurant on Calle Ocho.

Food was bland without much taste for Cuban food. Was expecting much more of a Cuban experience. Was disappointing.

Excellent food and service.
Very nice atmosphere right on South Beach.
The BEST Mojito anywhere....
Wish they would do more to show it's Gloria Estephan's restaurant.
Maybe play her music in the background.

The service was bad. We sat for ten minutes while seven staff members stood by. No water. No bread. No request for drinks. When they finally served us they failed to take our menus from us (small table) so when they came to serve us they made no effort to move the menus or take them away. Just a real lack of care.

Lario’s serves exceptional food at decent prices. The drinks are very expensive but also very good. Ambiance is wonderful. Definitely a gem of Miami Beach.

Food was great, Paella was awesome!! Ropa vieja, everything absolutely awesome, a bit pricy but worthwhile. There was live music with a cuban quartet, playing traditional son cubano. The band was very good, very traditional.

Excellent. That’s the first word which comes to mind. The service was excellent. The food delicious, authentic and well prepared. The restaurant was beautiful on the inside and the patio dining quaint, clean and comfortable. Larios was like an oasis among the loud, packed lesser places around it, filled with tourists. So very pleased we chose Larios. Highly recommend to anyone.

The service: It took 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order.  When he did, he neither introduced himself nor told us about the menu. He just asked what we wanted and went on his way. We didn't see him for the rest of the meal. He never checked in with us and never refilled our drinks. We finally had to ask another waiter for the check.

The food: I was hoping the food would make up for the service failures, but that didn't happen. The quality of the food was spotty at best. My husband got the Tour of Cuba. Some of the samplings were quite good, others okay but nothing special. I got the tuna tartare (delicious!) and the empanadas (terrible).

We sat outside to enjoy the excellent food and people watching. As we were leaving - looked inside - a whole different experience. Next time we are in town - we'll eat inside.

Really enjoyed the crispy beef and chicken house specialties.

Appetizers were devine.

The restaurant is located directly across from the beach. It would have been great for outdoor seating but unfortunately it was Spring Break and every teenager in America seemed to be at the beach. The indoor seating was fine... The restaurant inside was nice; nice ambiance, quiet, and our waiter was very attentive . The drinks were great and the food was awesome. We had a Cuban lady with us who also thought the food was authentically Cuban and tasted great. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been if Gloria was there ! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! Spent a weekend in Miami with friends, and was able to make a last minute reservation for 4 at Lario's and they did not disappoint. Our server was attentive, knowledgable about the menu, friendly & prompt. The food was out-of-this-world good. What a selection of Cuban food, we had two of the sampler appetizers, as well as other dishes, and it was all outstanding. If you're in South Beach, do your taste buds a favor, stop in, grab a pitcher of the Grand Mojito's, and enjoy an amazing meal
