Place is not on the beach... there’s a view of the street and the grass leading to the beach. Great food though, the guava ribs were especially amazing.
Excellent. That’s the first word which comes to mind. The service was excellent. The food delicious, authentic and well prepared. The restaurant was beautiful on the inside and the patio dining quaint, clean and comfortable. Larios was like an oasis among the loud, packed lesser places around it, filled with tourists. So very pleased we chose Larios. Highly recommend to anyone.
The service: It took 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order. When he did, he neither introduced himself nor told us about the menu. He just asked what we wanted and went on his way. We didn't see him for the rest of the meal. He never checked in with us and never refilled our drinks. We finally had to ask another waiter for the check.
The food: I was hoping the food would make up for the service failures, but that didn't happen. The quality of the food was spotty at best. My husband got the Tour of Cuba. Some of the samplings were quite good, others okay but nothing special. I got the tuna tartare (delicious!) and the empanadas (terrible).
Awesome! Service food and music were great
We sat outside to enjoy the excellent food and people watching. As we were leaving - looked inside - a whole different experience. Next time we are in town - we'll eat inside.
Really enjoyed the crispy beef and chicken house specialties.
Appetizers were devine.
The restaurant is located directly across from the beach. It would have been great for outdoor seating but unfortunately it was Spring Break and every teenager in America seemed to be at the beach. The indoor seating was fine... The restaurant inside was nice; nice ambiance, quiet, and our waiter was very attentive . The drinks were great and the food was awesome. We had a Cuban lady with us who also thought the food was authentically Cuban and tasted great. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been if Gloria was there ! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Wow! Spent a weekend in Miami with friends, and was able to make a last minute reservation for 4 at Lario's and they did not disappoint. Our server was attentive, knowledgable about the menu, friendly & prompt. The food was out-of-this-world good. What a selection of Cuban food, we had two of the sampler appetizers, as well as other dishes, and it was all outstanding. If you're in South Beach, do your taste buds a favor, stop in, grab a pitcher of the Grand Mojito's, and enjoy an amazing meal
Fuimos con amigos y fue una cena muy muy buena
Con una súper atención y menú muy variado
We arrived in Miami Beach along with spring break so was noisier than envisaged. Our server was fantastic and made the evening along with the amazing food
Amazing experience and fantastic food. Could not ask for more.
Always a great time... Always great food
Dined for lunch. Cuban sandwich was very poor quality, equivalent to what you would expect from a gas station.
On a short visit to Miami from UK. Have always admired Gloria and Emilio and this was a chance in a life time for me. Sadly they were not on site. Had Glorious Cosmopolitan cocktail which was spot on. Cuban wraps were divine. Was hoping to call back to try other foods but ran out of time.
smart, clean restaurant in q great location. Server was one of the best ever - knowledgeable and helpful.
Vacation lol , I go every year when I’m in south beach
Great Cuban food! Outdoor dining was really nice. They also had a live band.
Amazing views and food, highly recommend.
Food was excellent; drinks just ok but overall we really liked it
The food was very good as was the service. The sangria was terrible. Tasted like they used a mix. Way too sugary sweet. $35 was a bit high for sangria that was mostly ice
South Beach is so special and so diverse, but you expect anyone specializing Cuban cuisine to be on their game. Sorry, I expected better
The food and service was great. Got the appetizer combo and everything was delicious, love the authentic taste of the food and full of flavor.
Larios was good but not great. Cuisine seemed authentic.
1st Cuban food experience and it was amazing! Taste was exceptional.
Superb food, as always!! Fabulous wait staff and ambiance!!
We had 14 people in our party and everything was great.
Fabulous experience. Food was fantastic, service was great.
Great experience! The coconut mojitos were amazing. We all had seafood dishes—the grilled seafood, camarones enchilados and the catch of the day (grouper) were all perfectly prepared. We shared the Abuela Maria ice cream for dessert; it was delicious. Service was prompt and attentive. A great choice for dinner in South Beach.
Super good food and grate place love it I recommended 100%
Great diner with my wife! Food, service and even music were great!
The food and service were very good. We ordered the seafood paella which I thought was very good but too salty for my taste.
Good location in South Beach along with good Cuban food selection and excellent service
Amazing food on vacation wish we could eat there more often
Good food and amazing people watching. Set right on Ocean Drive, you'll see plenty of characters walking down the sidewalk or parking their luxury cars outside the many hotels that line this block. Authentic Cuban cuisine (we opted for the sandwiches) and flavorful mojitos will be just the ticket for your afternoon lunch in South Beach at this renowned restaurant owned by the one and only Gloria Estefan.
We celebrated a sweet 16 birthday.
Ate outside. Good food, service was timely, only criticism was felt waiter was rushing us so table could be turned quickly. Lots of passers by but hey, it’s South Beach and if you’re into people watching good spot.
Great food, good music.
I was there to celebrate my 50th birthday. ( It was never acknowledged)The food was good and the service was attentive. The noise level is awful so it was difficult to have a conversation. The live music was amazing, however, when people started dancing in the aisles the dancing intruded on those seated at their tables trying to enjoy their meals.
Always an excellent place to dine. The food is superb. Their “vaca frita” is an incredible dish.
The only thing that detracts from what would otherwise be perfect (for dining inside) is that the noise level from conversations is high.
They have sidewalk dining, but the inside ambience is a better experience despite the noise level.
Good Cuban food enjoyed 👍🍸
