Larios on the Beach Ratings and Reviews
From the staff at the bar to when we were seated for dinner, the staff was friendly and so professional. The drinks (Luxury Mojito) and the food was PHENOMENAL. We were there for the first time for our wedding anniversary and we’d go back again. We had a fabulous experience, thank you!!
Well to start the Maite D was not pleasant or welcoming. As a matter of fact he was belligerent. The restaurant was completely empty except for us and he was insisting on sitting us a party of 7 at a small bench table. I was requesting a larger table with individual chairs which there were plenty of. I actually told him are you berating us are you going to hit us? He laughed but it was not the encounter one would expect at a dining venue. The food was ok. I’m Cuban and did not appreciate the excess spices in the sauces.
Once again I had dinner at my favorite spot on Ocean Drive! Larios on the beach never ceases to amaze me from the warm welcoming from Adrian the host to the amazing attention from my experienced server. Even having the manager Raul making sure our experience was nothing short of spectacular was a true delight and made my wife and I feel at home. Whenever we crave cuban in Miami, Larios will always be number one on our list.
sat outside on a friday afternoon.
service was just poor.
ordered cheviche which never came.
ordered a glass of wine which showed up after the meal.
server used one of the diners napkin to clean the table before the dessert.
food was very average .
glorai estefan might need to do some quality control.....
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience! The food was delicious and out server was helpful and attentive! He made excellent recommendations from appetizers all the way to the flan!
The only complaint was that there was a bunch of microphone stands near where we were sitting that should have been moved or put away in a better location.
Great experience. Food was excellent with a good selection of genuine Cuban food.
The sights on Ocean Drive make for an interesting meal.
But the thing that stands out most in my mind was the phenomenal service from our waiter.
I think his name was Maynor and he was outstanding. With his extensive knowledge of the menu he helped us find something we would both like and even though he seemed to have a lot of tables he was very attentive and did not rush us.
Did I mention that the Mojitos are to die for !!
Going back to Miami in November and will eat here again
We took a client and his wife to dinner there during a conference nearby. The service was quick and friendly, the decor attractive, and the food good but overpriced. What almost ruined the evening was the very loud and large party of young guys at the next table, to the point that we asked to move outdoors for dessert. The bacon-wrapped sweet plantain appetizer was delicious. The chicken vaca frita and lechón asado were good. Mojitos are House specialty and very good. Mango arroz con leche was enjoyed by our clients. The noise level might keep us from returning.
We reserve a table from Germany for happy hour , because on the website was a special happy hour menue with drinks and food -when we arrived nobody knew about existing a happy hour menue and they only offered us drinks. When we them the card in Internet they were surprised!!!! Also the restrooms were dirty! In such a location they habe to know what they write in the own website!!!! Sorry we will never come back and don't recommend this place at all, although it belongs to Gloria Estefan
Overall good restaurant .. It would be good to have some live salsa music playing on Sunday too .. lots of people go out that day too.. I know it something that can be afford !! Just a tip .. we’re were a party of 10 and all of us complain about the same thing
For a place that has the opportunity to show off Cuban food this was not it. Although the decor was lovely, that was it. Service sucked, sweet waiter was way too busy making drinks, taking orders, never had a real chance to check on customers. The staff delivering meals actually told us the restaurant doesnt have hot sauce? My dish grilled fish, tasteless, dry... My hubbys pork worse than dry. Not for Foodies, give me cheap cuban food in the hood any day over this... For those that dont know better ok suckers
Lario's has delicious food and a fun, energetic (noisy) atmosphere. It was difficult to talk with our group, but we had a great time celebrating a birthday nonetheless. The servers were friendly and helpful, but seemed short-staffed so it took awhile to get our food and check once the restaurant started filling up.
