Service was very slow - 45 minutes to receive bread.
Good service, good food, great ambiance
Our waitress was fantastic. She was so thorough in making sure our meals were safe for two of us that have celiac. She even brought out the chef to talk to us. He made the lobster Mac-n-cheese gluten free for my daughter and she was so thrilled. All our meals were wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We were staying at the resort and had several meals at the restaurant. it was lovely sitting outside to enjoy the view and all the meals we had were wonderful. Look forward to returning some day.
Things we did not like:
1. Being charged $14 for a well drink. (house vodka martini)
2. Being charged $8 for bread--two portions $4 per order.
3. Having to ask the service help to change the thermostat as we froze for 25 minutes for
action to occur.
We had a group of 20+ and one server which was terribly insufficient. She tried hard, but the service was very slow.
We also asked for separate checks which she agreed too but that caused a lot of confusion and took a ton of extra time.
Poor quality food. Terrible service. Not worth the price.
The outdoor patio was a perfect place for our gathering of six old friends.
There are heaters above that create a very comfortable ambiance. The view is lovely and the space expansive enough for comfortable noise level.
Everyone enjoyed their food, chopped salads and fish tacos, but the service was exceptional. We were allowed to spend a couple hours and were never rushed.
George the breakfast waiter was a nightmare, and we ate all of our meals at the hotel during our stay, but, this waiter should not be allowed to work at this amazing hotel property.
Great staff and quick to get us seated. However the food was ok at best. And for the price the value bad. Standard stuff for Hyatt. Nothing terrible but too expensive for what you get.
We decided to go out for Christmas, and had a really nice dinner here. The food was excellent, and the service and ambiance was superb.
Stuff was rude asking every 3 minuets if everything was fine, we wanted to gave a quality time without interruptions but with the stuff asking questions very often we couldn’t
It was amazing. I haven't really been a fa of restaurants in hotels but this surely changed my mind. Amazing service and even better food
Our table had the salmon and the pasta Bolognese and a pair of salads. The tab with tip was $133 including one alcoholic beverage and one desert. The food was good, but not fantastic. I thought the price was a little high given the quality of our meal. I will try some other restaurants in the area out before going back anytime soon.
We went here for our anniversary. It was lovely. Our waiter was first class and brought complementary champaign.
This resort is great and the restaurant is good, food was good, service was good for the price it wasn't great. I know fine dinning portions are small but this was really small. But the food was good and we didn't have to leave so overall it was a good experience.
The service was great and the food was very good. The waitress was very attentive and had a good personality. I can't remember her name but we sat at the first table on the left by the door. We had a 6:00 PM reservation on 6-23-2017.
We went to Lantana's to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and had a great time. We both had the Filet Mignon and they were cooked to perfection. Our server Trey was outstanding and was very attentive to our needs. Kudo's to the Hyatt and Lantana for having such a nice young man working for them.
Very Poor Service
20 minute Long wait for beverage order
20 additional minutes for a draft beef to arrive
45 mins after order bottle of wine arrived.
The food was good, the service however was very poor.
No refill on water or coffee, again poor service
Food was delicious, loved the ambience and our Server, Jannet, was incredible!
This restaurant was definitely a disappointment. Extremely high prices for below average food. We were seated out on the patio, which was nice but chilly in the breeze, and no heaters. No tablecloth on the plain white wobbly table. In addition to the menu, there was a buffet filled with kid-friendly finger foods, and kids ran back and forth next to our table the entire time. The servers were polite but rushed and harried, one server was actually running between the dining area and the kitchen. Not great on ambience. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was dull and lacked that "tang" in the dressing. Next was roast chicken breast, which was over cooked and dry. The sweet potatoes and leek risotto were good. They brought bread when we asked for it, but no butter. We skipped dessert and bought ice cream in the mini-market.
Nothing about this place is special or worth remembering. Skip it and drive into town for dinner, it's worth it.
Our server Christy. Was over-the-top. For cocktails Caesar was also amazing. My lobster pasta was delicious as was the Caesar salad and everything was delivered I've been hot and no delays. The assistant food and beverage Director was everywhere even said hi to us the next day by the pool. We normally stay at La Quinta but it was booked so this is a new hideaway for us. Keep up the good work! Oh by the way our room was cozy large and the most comfortable bed ever!
Nice dinner--awesome bacon-wrapped dates! Sushi menu was not as good. Pleasant outdoor seating but there was a strong cigar smell. Serice was friendly but inconsistent (hard to find the server to order more wine and for the check).
Very nice Valentine's Day dinner with the girlfriend
This place was amazing. They took care of us like family and really made us feel special. Good food too.
Had late dinner and stayed for dancing on New Year's Eve . Price fixed four course menu was fabulous. It was a great way to bring in the New Year.
The hostess with dark hair and glasses was a rude as any rude employee I have ever experience . She was nasty and threw a high chair against the wall . She almost ruined Christmas dinner . The food is VERY expensive but they did an adequate Christmas buffet . I would definitely return to this resort again but I would eat elsewhere . Tons of local restaurants just as good at 1/4 of the price .
We celebrate Thanksgiving dinner at the Lantana-Hyatt Regency. I've been cooking Thankgiving dinner for over 10 years straight and my husband convinced me to take a break this year....we made reservations for the Lantana and we couldn't have been more happy with the their Thanksgiving feast. The food with not only beautifully displayed it was DELICIOUS! The service was also excellent! We all had a great time. Thank you for making our 2016 Thanksgiving a memorable one.
We typically do not go out for Thanksgiving dinner but decided to do so this year. It was definitely worth it. We have a delightful time. The food, service and ambiance was outstanding. I highly recommend the Thanksgiving Brunch at Lantana.
Very pleased with over all experience from check-in to dining. We were especially pleased with the reserved seating complete with our name displayed at our table. If you're looking for a warm and inviting atmosphere for the holidays, that is not over crowded, with beautiful surroundings, and friendly staff; then this place is it :)
We enjoyed the Thanksgiving Buffet at Landana. Great selection of Cold Seafood, nice salad assortment, great carved Turkey and Beef...and the best selection of deserts that we have seen in years. And my Gluten Free wife was able to eat without worry.
We sat outdoors and enjoyed the warm desert evening. The La Quinta IPA was cold and bitter. Perfect for a warm evening. We wanted Pizza, our waiter kindly brought us a bar menu. We ordered an odd combo of food. Beet Bruchetta, Vegetarian Pizza, and mashed Sweet Potatoes. Everything came well presented and fresh tasting. After paying the bill, the waiter brought us a gift of a beautifully boxed chocolate treat.
I expect bland food, so-so service, and a corporate/industrial setting when going to a Hyatt hotel restaurant. Lantana was fun, fresh, with attentive friendly servers. The experiment paid big dividends for us.
We sat outside and it was beautiful. Service was very good and we would go again to the restaurant.
Veronica was a great server. Food was above average
Not the usual food at a hotel
Love the brunch. The spread is not huge, but instead a modest omlet bar that's tasty. And the service is great.
great food, great service, great view and reasonable price.
the pizza was delicious, with thin crust and wholesome toppings.
definitely top 5 of the pizzas I had, including the one in Italy and New York.
our food was not very tasty for all three of us. We were the only ones there but it started to get a bit busier as we were leaving. The food did not fit the reputation and was way over priced. Two of us had tasteless salads and one chicken sandwich on burnt toast. I was very surprised. 🙁
The stay was wonderful other Than what was supposed to be a fabulous lunch.
The Easter Brunch featured many items, lunch and breakfast. However, our reservation was for 9am so clearly we would not be getting the ham/beef/lamb choices. The price of $59 per person should have been adjusted. That's way too much to pay for an omelette!
We were very pleased with the service and food. We also were very thankful that we arrived for dinner at 6:00, because by 7:00 the place was full of families with young and very loud children. It didn't make a good end to a nice evening.
The service was great, beautiful outdoor dining, we have a 2nd home in Indian Wells as we live in Orange County, CA and the food was wonderful. We would recommend the restaurant . The outdoor setting is perfect.
